"This restaurant offers outstanding service, delectable food, and a well-crafted atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and transports you to Mexico. They begin the meal with an amazing green sauce and delicious chips. I wasn't particularly fond of the red sauce, but the green sauce is fantastic—perfectly creamy and bursting with flavor. The margaritas are excellent, especially considering they're a "house" option. We shared the beef fajitas, which came with a buttery dipping sauce that has a hint of lime. The tortillas are thin and just the right size for making great tacos. They offer both green rice and traditional yellow Mexican rice; I personally preferred the yellow. Our waiter was attentive, and the service was quick. I definitely plan to return! (The low lighting made it hard to capture the true presentation in photos, but everything was wonderful!)"

"I went 5 minutes with no drink with my mouth on fire while my waiter threw himself through the silver doors to kitchen followed by a round of applause and laughter. He did this 4 times until he finally heard my raised voice and my finger pointing at him. He refilled my drink. I told him I would need another quickly. His Manager started taking care of our table. When I told no guacamole, he said oh, we'll put it on the side. I said put it on my wife's plate. He said no, on the side. I finally raised my voice and told him not to put guacamole anywhere on my plate. He delivered our meals. My wife had ordered Xtra sour cream and got a good size dish. I got a teaspoon on top of shredded lettuce. I asked for extra sour cream. He said you have some there on your plate. I said that will not be enough. He pointed at my wife's bowl. I said, that is for her dinner. With the Manager came up to hear the waiter inform me Sour Cream is not free. She asked is there a problem? I said yes, this young man says I have plenty of sour cream and it isn't free. I want more sour cream for my fajitas. From that point she took over. My bill. From what I can figure my bill should have been $49. It was $58 but I was not allowed a detailed receipt. I left a $10 tip for the Manager. You have been our favorite Mexican restaurant for somewhere near 9 years. We come from Anderson to eat there. We will be finding a new Mexican Restaurant."

"I rarely give 5-star ratings, but this experience deserves it because the food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, and the food was served quickly, which is impressive for a dine-in restaurant. Thank you to everyone who works there for your outstanding customer service!"

"I had this place saved on my list of restaurants to try, and I'm so glad I did. The service was excellent, especially Irma who was sweet and attentive. All the food was delicious, but my favorite was the fresh tortillas and beans. The atmosphere and music were great, and hearing the history of the restaurant from Marco was a highlight. We will definitely be returning again!"

"My fiancée and I stopped by for a quick dinner, and we were not disappointed. The entire restaurant is filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly prepared dishes that tantalize your taste buds. The salsa is perfectly blended and paired with hot chips, and the chicken fajitas, along with the rice and beans, are seasoned just right. Delicious! The servers are friendly and attentive, ensuring we always had drinks and salsa when needed. We absolutely love the authentic atmosphere of this unique place. It will definitely be our top choice for delicious food whenever we're in town!"

"I come here often with my husband and my adult children. We enjoy coming in and supporting a family ran business. The food is great and it always tastes the same which is, for me, important. A lot of restaurants since Covid, have changed out their ingredients for cheaper ones and sacrificed taste to save money. This is not the case at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive and we have a great experience every time. They take cash or debit/credit cards. There is also an option if you pay with debit/credit where you can add the tip to the bill so you don't have to leave a cash tip if you don't carry cash on you. The atmosphere is great, they have a few TVs on the walls so you can watch TV while you eat. It is family friendly so you can bring your younger kids in with you. They do sell adult beverages. My husband generally gets a corona and I usually get a tropical margarita. I only eat either the tacos carne asada (steak) with corn tortillas, or their chipotle burrito. My husband loves their Colorado burrito. Its very spicy and he likes his hot peppers. My son either goes for the tacos carne asada with corn tortillas or shrimp fajitas. If you have a shellfish intolerance or allergy they do serve shellfish, but I have not had any issues with cross contamination and luckily not had an allergic reaction. My daughter usually goes for their chicken and white queso... I forget the actual name of it, forgive me. She loves it and orders it every time we come in. The prices are affordable and if you're on a tight budget you're paying about the same as you would for a meal at certain unnamed burger places... But with way more food, that tastes way better than the processed meat you get at a fast food burger joint, and with better ambiance than the local fastfood places. Its a great place for celebrations, get togethers, dates etc. I am not certain but I think they might do take out catering. I will ask and edit my post next time I go in to reflect a yes or no on that. My husband and I want to renew our vows and are actually wanting to order from them for our reception when we do our renewal of vows. You should definitely check them out! Try their chorizo con queso as a side to go with your tortilla chips. Its amazing! this place and glad to have found them. They're located in Plainfield Indiana and are not far from Five and Below. If you get a chance to come in and see them, do so. You won't be disappointed!"

"Great portions, tasty food, and friendly staff(thanks Nancy). What else can you ask for, go there for all your Mexican food cravings the portions are huge and the flavor of the food will make you go there more often than you expected. The drinks like the margaritas with different flavors, great selection of mexican beers and if you like soccer(premier league+la liga española..etc) they open at 10am so you can catch the european games..... The stake fajitas is one of my favorite dishes, but you will like everything here."

"We have eaten at this restaurant many times and it has been good. The time before tonight was so so, but they were really busy. Tonight they were busy as well. I ordered the “new” bowl salad with chicken. The salad was sparse, but okay until I realized there was at a minimum 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the bowl. I sent it back but it was still on the bill. I mentioned it to the cashier and she wan nice and said I’ll take that off. I thanked her, but when she told me the price it was 20% off of the salad not the full amount. I could have asked for a manager, but didn’t. Just don’t order the bowl salad."

"Just moved near by and have been there three times now. The first time was date night with my wife and loved the Fajita Chimichanga. The second time we took our children and they liked it as well. The third time was this past weekend for Fathers Day my day, my choice . We definitely recommend this Mexican Restaurant, Very Good Food and Pretty Good Service!!! Similar to Don Tequilas in Amherst!!!"

"I ordered a kids meal for my granddaughter. She ordered chicken tenders and rice. When we got her meal he brought chicken and fries. I told him she ordered rice so he brought rice. Then when we paid we were told we had to pay for the rice even though it was thier mistake because they brought the wrong thing. Then the manager wanted to argue about it. I have never been so humiliated and was made to feel belittled. Their customer service sucks. And the waiter treated us bad too"
"Went in looking for a nice leisurely lunch. Placed our order food came out extremely fast. Very disappointed in the quality of the food received. The meats were not freshly prepared but were dried out tough and hard to cut even with a knife. It tasted like it had precooked and reheated in a microwave. We were not even approached for drink refills or to go drinks. Very disappointed and disgusted in our food and service."

"We were there a little after 2:OO slow time in most restaurants. The service was slow to start with, but being in the restaurant business I can give a little leeway. The margarita I order has mostly sour mix , no taste of tequila. Once again I ignored it and ordered our food. The food came and it was horrible. The corn was all mayo, not grilled and a tiny sprinkle of parmesan on the plate. The chicken was bone in dark meat and the carne was old. Our daughter’s corn was the same and her Colorado was bland one old tasting. The salsa tasted like puree plain tomato’s. They took off the plate my husband and I was sharing, and 50 percent off our corn. They refused to take off anything else even though we ate none of our meals. I would have been fine to pay for my daughters even though she ate nothing if they would have taken the full cost of the corn off. They called the manager on the phone of course she wasn’t there) and she did we had to pay for it or they would call the police. I had to pay or bad food we didn’t eat, bad service and rude employees. I have never in my 30 years of experience in the restaurant business have I seen a restaurant treat customers this way. Beware. "The parking was great, and the restrooms were clean. The service was fast, and the waiter was average. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. It had the usual flavor of typical small-town American Mexican cuisine, and my shrimp fajitas lacked flavor. The veggie fajitas appeared to be made with canned vegetables that had been soaked. Overall, I have yet to find satisfying food in State College."

"I'm all about customer service. This place exists every time I walk. I love the Margarita specialties they have on Monday and Wednesday only 2.50!!! And they are well served with an orange btw!!! My food always comes fast, it's good and the servers are nice. It's the same price every time I get in. What is important to me because the Mexican restaurant on the street is terrible in customer service... I love to come to this place after a long working day to drink a good food and enjoy price and I can say they also appreciate my business!!! (Too bad, the Mexican restaurant in my plaza will not get my business back) GO Cocina!!!!"

"Love the food. Great location compared to where I live. But service is moody hit and miss every time. One time I came in February the bill was off by a lot.. the way that was handled was comical and unresolved. After an argument I just left without my change which 16$ for a tip .. and that’s after adjusting the bill .. that’s ok I guess. But second time around this happened this will be a no go for me again. Can hardly get server to get me anything. Other than that food is great. Drinks are strong. That part is satisfying. But I will not be back since both times were birthday days. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4"

"Las Fiestas Cafe is a relatively new Mexican joint on the East Side that moved into the location formerly occupied by Cat's Music and Smiley's Soul Food Cafe. While there is a plethora of good Mexican places in the neighborhood El Jalicience quickly becoming my favorite), Las Fiestas has been recommended most often for breakfast. There are few things in the world that get me as excited as a breakfast burrito (one of the worlds most perfect foods as far as I'm concerned) so I knew I was going to have to check this place out. The decor is meh at best. It looks like they picked up their dining sets from an old hotel that was letting go of their continental breakfast area. We...read more"
