"This restaurant offers outstanding service, delectable food, and a well-crafted atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and transports you to Mexico. They begin the meal with an amazing green sauce and delicious chips. I wasn't particularly fond of the red sauce, but the green sauce is fantastic—perfectly creamy and bursting with flavor. The margaritas are excellent, especially considering they're a "house" option. We shared the beef fajitas, which came with a buttery dipping sauce that has a hint of lime. The tortillas are thin and just the right size for making great tacos. They offer both green rice and traditional yellow Mexican rice; I personally preferred the yellow. Our waiter was attentive, and the service was quick. I definitely plan to return! (The low lighting made it hard to capture the true presentation in photos, but everything was wonderful!)"

Wow. I have been in the food and business industry for over 30 years and have visited many many Mexican restaurants, but this was one of the best I’ve ever been to. Great service, and outstanding food. authentic atmosphere and recipes.

Very good food and good service. The margaritas are a bit different along with the green rice. Our server said it was cilantro, but I know it's not. I think it's a spinach green they add to it. All in all its was great tasting Tex-mex food. It's a bit pricey, but it's good.Food: 5/5 View menu

This is my brother's favorite Mexican restaurant. We ordered for pickup and arrived five minutes early. However, we ended up waiting twenty minutes for our food, which is unusually slow. But the food was fantastic, and they had a special on Wednesday nights. We will definitely be returning!

Our go to Mexican in Westchase (Gesssner location) or anywhere we're near one of their locations. Amazing chips and salsa, fajitas, margaritas, and mixed plates. There's no wrong option here, but highly recommend the fajitas (any type) and the gold margaritas. Hats off to Julio, Jesus, Horatio, and Mario for service always above and beyond. A solid choice for Mexican food, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

We absolutely loved El Tiempo for our Tex-Mex cravings! We ordered a pound of their fajitas, which include chicken, beef, and pork, served with a mix of corn and flour tortillas. Their margaritas are excellent as well! The service was fantastic; the staff consistently checked on our table to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back. As for parking, there’s a large parking lot with plenty of space around the restaurant. View menu

This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Obviously went here on Cinco de Mayo started off with their mango margarita and amazing queso dip which I always get. For the entrée we got the spicy shrimp enchiladas and the barbecue brisket tacos with a side of the jalapeño sausage. They have some of the best barbecue brisket tacos out of most Mexican restaurants in town. I highly recommended the seasoning in flavor is so good you can taste how good they smoked the brisket.

My only complaint is the terrible music. Why do I come to a Mexican restaurant only to hear 100% country music? It makes no sense and detracts from the overall atmosphere. We are surrounded by Mexican culture and decor, yet we’re listening to country music. A Mexican restaurant should play traditional Mexican music. I would love to hear music that reflects my culture instead of something unrelated. Aside from that, this place is definitely worth visiting with family, friends, or a partner.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
