"I ordered from the online menu and was in for a big surprise. The prices listed were completely inaccurate. One item I ordered online was priced at $16.25, but I was charged $23.00 when I received my bill. Another item that was $10.45 online ended up costing $14.50. After tax, my total should have been $28.78, but it came to $40.47 instead—a difference of $11.69. They really need to update their online menu to reflect the correct prices. I can't speak to the quality of the food since I was so disappointed by the pricing."

"I have never eaten at Maria's. I had a long work week with a lot of success and decided to order food through Grubhub. I went through tons of options and nothing sounded good. Then I saw Maria's Mexican Restaurant. The reviews weren't stellar but the dishes looked delicious so I decided to take a chance. Of everything on the menu the Mexican Ribs looked the best! I ordered them. The delivery got to my house. Once I picked up a rib and the meat fell off the bone I was surprised. Taking a bite the meat was tender, juicy, full of awesome flavor... but the sauce... the sauce was amazing! I loved every bite of those ribs! Some of the best I've ever had! The lettuce, tomatoes, beans and rice were also amazing and very fresh! I would highly recommend them after this experience! The service was also prompt and accurate in both filling the order and in delivery timeframe!"

"The server we had was aloof and rigid. My friend did not want beans and instead asked for veggies, or even something as simple as some lettuce on the side. He said he would not do that and didn’t offer any other options except double the rice. Not even an up charge option. I also asked for a side of guacamole and the server said “we only offer table side guacamole”. What Mexican restaurant in San Diego doesn’t allow an option for a side of guacamole? I would have paid $2 $6 for a small side. Why is my only option for a little guacamole a $13 table side event? Either a poor choice on the part of management or a poor choice on the part of the server."

I ended up having to speak with a manager and show him their own website just to get the deal, which was a bit pointless at that stage. The food was decent but nothing to rave about, and I found it a bit overpriced. Our table felt like it was practically in the parking lot, and the loud music made it really hard to have a conversation. Am I satisfied? Not at all. "I decided to visit this restaurant with my family, and we loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic, even if you just stop by for takeout. They had wonderful live music, which added to the experience. I would definitely be interested in returning just for the ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious! "My family loves Jalisco Cafe, Bonita. First stop for our out of state visitors. Everything is good. Favorites are Enchilada Suiza, Quesadilla Ranchero Deluxe with Carne Asada, Chile con Carne Burrito Grande. Absolutely the best Chile Rellenos I have found anywhere. Out of state visitors freeze a lot of the delicious Jalisco Cafe food here and fly it back home with them, it is so good!"

"We went here for dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy. When they sat us we were placed in an area all by ourselves. It seemed as though they were doing it on purpose as a cautious approach to covid even though restrictions had recently been lifted. The staff was wearing masks. This was a thoughtful touch, even though we didn't feel the need, it showed their willingness to go the extra mile to take care of their customers.The staff was efficient and friendly.The parking lot and restaurant was clean, though there was a musty smell in the entry way.The service wasn't super fast likely because of the physical space between customers, but it was sufficient.The complimentary chips and salsa were good but the waitress let us run out of Salas before the meal came.The menu said we had a choice of which kind of beans we got, but the waitress didn't ask and we just got refried beans with our order. We both would have rather had the black beans.The food was good. We ordered the chili Verde and chili Colorado burrito combos. The Colorado was very flavorful and good the Verde was good bit didn't have the distinct green chili flavor I love, but was good also.The burritos were meat and sauce in the burrito only and the beans and rice were on the side like they should be.Everything came out hot.The rice and beans were good also.The burritos weren't as big around as some of the places that we have been to, but we were full once we finished our plates.Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. They did a good job and were less expensive than the last place we ate Mexican food at by about $10."

"we stopped here when we hoped it would be good. we were completely blown away with eating. it is truly authentic Mexican cuisine. the tortillas and the chips are made fresh in the restaurant. the tortillas are the best I've ever tried. the flan is also authentic, very good. Whenever we get through, we will stop again. they also have several other locations throughout the opposite."
