"I met some friends to this place and it's great. we had a wonderful time here. it's pretty busy so I totally understand that our food and drinks have not come to us for one thing. I warn that when they come during the working time, some delays await the next. Otherwise, the pricing on the cheaper end and the alcohol selection is excellent."

"This is now our go to sushi place in Redwood City. It’s been here 5 years…how are we just finding it?We sat at the sushi bar and we were very well taken care of by the guy (with great hair) preparing the sushi. We told him to surprise us and he served up deliciousness.Blue fin tuna, striped something from Japan, ocean trout, Japanese blue fish, hamachi toro, blue fin medium belly, salmon roll, San Francisco roll, another roll, salmon, shrimp nigiriI thought it was reasonably priced given what we ordered.We were there about 11:45 and we were the first ones there. We sat at the sushi bar and when we left, there were a few other occupied tables.Parking is tight."

"I recently came to Wasabi Bistro for the first time for dinner and drinks with my husband and some friends. It never felt like it got too busy while we were there, so we didn 't feel rushed and we were able to take our time catching up.We got the all you can drink deal for $10 as many others mentioned, it 's a good deal and we just kept ordering hot sake. I found it strange though that they gave us water only after we asked, and didn 't refill it it seems like it would be better/healthier for customers to drink water along with the alcohol..?The food was tasty and affordable (esp for SF . We had a mix of starters (like the chicken karaage, seaweed salad, and shishito peppers and sushi rolls. One thing to mention about the sushi rolls is that they weren 't packed with too much rice. (We opted out of dessert just because there was another place nearby that we wanted to go to. The restaurant got quite loud at times, esp since there was a large table of customers nearby when we arrived, but after they left I 'd say the noise level was average. There are a ton of string lights around that look really pretty. Otherwise the decor is nice but average.Overall, I wouldn 't say it 's my favourite sushi or Japanese food in the city, but it was tasty, as I said, and I enjoyed the ambiance. I 'd be happy to come back here again sometime :"

"Perhaps it was an off day, but the owner was giving the employees reviews/feedback, and despite an empty restaurant, everything was a long wait. The ebi nigiri had a small portion of rice underneath it that crumbled when picked up. It took five minutes to get a slice of lemon to sprinkle on the food. It took fifteen minutes to pay after I was done. And I really didn't need to hear staff issues. If someone is a no show on a Saturday because they slept at a friend's house for bible study, I don't need to hear it over lunch."

Based on Google pictures and the type of menu I knew what to expect but once I received the neatly packaged food as I was opening the bag from assorted tempura to the last piece of our $200 spent was so clean fresh delicious and enough rice to not be able to say which one was our favorite ?Forgot to send chopsticks but the Ginger they make and they way it's served even for delivery is only authentic Japanese.So many things on the menu and pictures that I didn't order on purpose because they shouldn't be deliverable in my taste.Arigato daamadashka"

"My husband and I come here every year for our anniversary and we are always pleased with the service and the food . We came for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t as crowded as when we came for dinner in the past. We had two servers help us throughout our meal. The food was delicious as always and the drinks were great too. Both servers seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. The fish used in the sashimi platter and sushi rolls we got was fresh and buttery. The overall ambiance is romantic and we felt like we got the best service there."

"To begin with, the sushi was outstanding. I ordered the sushi platter, which included a California roll, along with a refreshing cold sake. I dined indoors, and the service was exceptional. They enforced social distancing and mask-wearing, which I appreciated. I was particularly impressed when an inconsiderate customer entered without a mask twice, and the two staff members politely informed him that they would call the police if he didn't leave. He chose to depart. I will definitely return. The sushi quality is top-notch! Honestly, I would rate this sushi bar as the best in NYC! It's fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared.
