Still believe uni pasta is one of the best on their menu. I live in Houston and have friends came from NJ but neither of us can find similar food in our cities. That being said, their food portion has shrunk a lot. I understand inflation but from 2-3 people portion to 1 person portion did not justify the inflation.

Nothing wrong with this place and we were seated immediately, which was nice after walking a while. Someone I know loves this place and says the charred garlic oysters and sea bass are the best. So we ordered both along with crispy clams and brussel sprouts. Everything was good and we ate everything but nothing I would end up craving I'm in no rush to go back especially when lunch ends up being over $100 for two people.

Came in 1hr away from close but they were still accommodating and helpful! The menu is found on a qr code where we found tons of options to sort thru. Being there was quite a lot, I asked the server for some recommendations and went with that. I highly recommend the Tuna Tartare which j must say was the best thing I ate that night as well as some raw oysters. Service was quick and helpful as well as the food coming out relatively quick. Overall, I'd come back again

Knocking EMC down .. Came around dinner time to grab their lovely uni pasta but this batch was just NOT IT nor enjoyable as I remembered? The noodles were definitely overcooked plus the cream was just TOO MUCH like it just a soup of it, honestly felt I was eating unhealthy mac cheese and I could barely taste the uni. You could see the difference in the photo of my first uni pasta photo vs my current. Also ordered the salmon fried rice nothing too crazy for the price too I wouldn't reccomend ordering it. Overall not sure if I'd stop by again :X View menu

I visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it! I came to celebrate some promotions and deals with my boss and coworkers. We arrived around 4 PM and ended up ordering nearly everything on the happy hour menu—so much fun! Although it took a bit of time for our food to arrive (which was understandable since it was busy), it was definitely worth the wait. The food was a solid 10/10, and the drinks were even better at 11/10 (we had lychee martinis!). I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for great food in Santana Row!

I ordered the black mussels, and they were delicious. The indoor decor at EMC Seafood restaurant is quite appealing. However, since it was a warm day, I opted to sit outside, which provided a very pleasant atmosphere. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I did find the menu prices a bit steep; for example, I received just five pieces of sashimi with no sides for $20, which felt overpriced. Adding a soup, salad, and rice would take the total to well over $30. It's also a little strange that they offer sushi and sashimi but not miso soup, as I typically enjoy sashimi with miso soup and additional sides.

Went for Saturday dinner with my wife and ordered oysters to start while sitting at the bar. We ended up getting the Toro crab roll and the crab garlic noodles. The flavor was OK but terribly over priced for what we got. The oysters were pretty good, but $30 for garlic noodles with no noticeable crab present and $20 for basically a California roll with blended tuna on top is quite disappointing. I enjoyed the specialty uni noodles last time I was here so I would encourage people to try that but be careful when ordering anything else from the menu since most of it is bland with an insignificant sprinkle of a premium ingredient to justify a high price tag. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It wasn't crowded, so we were seated promptly. The service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Sangria and shared the Parmesan Truffle Fries. I tasted some of my mom’s Santana Roll, had the Salmon Toro, and my niece ordered the Garlic Noodles. Everything was delicious and of high quality. The Salmon Toro was fresh and buttery, while the truffle fries were absolutely amazing. The Sangria was particularly refreshing after a warm day of walking around. The Santana Roll was also very good, and I would happily order everything again. The prices are somewhat high, but that's to be expected for the location. Overall, we enjoyed our...

I visited this restaurant hoping to try the uni pasta, but unfortunately, I was not impressed. This was only my second experience with uni, and I found that it lacked a distinct taste or texture; it seemed to blend into the creamy sauce rather than stand out. The pasta was cheesy, which at least prevented it from being bland. We also ordered Kumamoto oysters, which were fresh, but the accompanying sauce didn’t do much to enhance their flavor. The soft-shell crab, however, was delicious. Overall, I would describe the food as just average. On a positive note, we were seated promptly around 6 PM on a Friday night, which I wasn’t expecting considering the restaurant's location in Santana Row. Th...

"Overall: Solid, good empanadas with interesting sauces (recommend the chimichurri sauce) in a cozy setting Food: We tried the Peruvian traditional beef empanada, mushroom and chicken empanada. We got the recommended sauces which was the chimichurri sauce for the beef and the rocoto side sauce for the chicken empanada. I had them to go and requested that the empanadas be heated up. Chimichurri sauce Bummer that the sauces are $0.50 each. I would have preferred that they increase the price of the empanada to include a sauce. This was the best sauce. You could see all the ingredients in it, and it felt so fresh. Highly recommend! Rocoto sauce Tasted like a vinegary hot sauce, more like tabasco sauce. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this sauce on its own personally just because it tastes like something I have had before. They probably make their own from rocoto peppers though, so maybe it's just not my thing. Beef empanada The beef was good it had raisins in it. It was particularly delicious with the chimichurri sauce. It was filled with a lot of beef but honeslty they could have bulked it up with more of the fillers such as potatoes and onions (or even chopped up the olives so you can have it in more stuff. Chicken mushroom empanada The chicken mushroom was also good. It was more filling than the beef, probably because the chicken chunks were bigger and because the sauce is creamier to begin with. There were plenty of mushrooms. I had mushrooms in every bite! This might be personal preference, but I personally thought that it benefited from having the rocoto sauce because otherwise it would be too heavy on its own. The rocoto sauce tasted just like tabasco sauce. While I think that the empanada needs a sauce, I personally would have liked to have more chimichurri sauce for this. Service: I didn't dine in, just did take out. It took about 10 minutes to have them warm it up and package it. It took a bit longer than expected for the empanadas and sauce being already made (I assume, I could see it from a distance). The seating area is nice! I liked their llama slideshow playing on the television. Portion size: ok! They are more expensive than other places but that's because the portion size is bigger. One empanada is like a heavy snack or a very light lunch. We recommend two empanadas for an actual meal. (Your mileage may vary if you get the chicken mushroom empanada)"
