"Perhaps it was an off day, but the owner was giving the employees reviews/feedback, and despite an empty restaurant, everything was a long wait. The ebi nigiri had a small portion of rice underneath it that crumbled when picked up. It took five minutes to get a slice of lemon to sprinkle on the food. It took fifteen minutes to pay after I was done. And I really didn't need to hear staff issues. If someone is a no show on a Saturday because they slept at a friend's house for bible study, I don't need to hear it over lunch."

The food was not authentic and nothing tasted good. It was clear that the restaurant was trying to be a Japanese restaurant, but it did not look or taste like Japanese cuisine.

I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is definitely the best sushi restaurant in Maple Valley. The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner is always very pleasant.

Those who work here are fantastic. I had a mini birthday dinner today for my daughter and they were amazing for her and her friends. Service was excellent and the sushi is some of the best in the area. You can always tell a good place to smell. No fish smell here!!! View menu

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant twice, both times with sushi and entrees. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. I was especially impressed that they had Uni, something my husband loves and always orders but can never find at other places.
