"After being seated i was told by a young man my small service dog and I were not welcomed. I insisted that he was a service animal hes allowed everywhere. I explained i had his documents with me. The staff politely told me that it was not their call. Their boss Lucia Lopez(the owner), had seen me over the cameras and instructed them to have me removed. I told them I would not leave. I got loud enough so the tables around me could here and told them that I get seizures. Not serving me because I have a dog, is the same as asking me to leave because I had no leg. I called the local police sat back at the table with my 18 yr old daughter, (we were visiting for her graduation trip) who was almost in tears at this point. A few moments later, a slightly older young man approached our table. He politely tried to explain that it was not their call to please not be upset with them asked if we would still like to be served. After arguing briefly in my head, I agreed. Both young men were very polite while refusing to serve me ?. I reminded him of the officers in route (I planned on going all the way to court). I called the local office back said we had worked it out. The young man took our order. He came back said Lucia was on the way to speak to me. I told him I didn 't wish to see her. Before our food came out, a short heavy set older woman with bleached a rude demeanor approached our table. She began insulting me by saying I was out of place yelling at her boys and thinking I could do whatever I pleased. While I was sitting down with her standing over me waving a finger in the air at me. I repeatedly told her to change her tone, that I was not her child, and to speak to me with respect. I stayed seated calm against all urges. She insisted I WAS RUDE to her staff, that they were simply following orders. Then I asked her, (so others could also hear) oh, so you make it customary have your employees break the law? As a business owner you know what you told those young men to do was illegal, on top of embarrassing for them! I then told her I had nothing more to discuss with her to please leave me be. With a huff she left out the side door. The older of the 2 men came over once she was gone and apologized again. I felt so bad for the circumstances under which these two very respectful young had to working, and I can imagine all they put up with. I apologized again told them that I was upset with the establishment that at no point was I ever upset with them. I thanked them for their hospitality gave the young men a $100 tip to split. The coffee Tres Leche was great. The food was not good. I didn 't touch much of it. The rice and beans were not from that day they felt reheated several times. All crunchy like the bottom of the pot was tried to soften up. The meat was over cooked. Decor was nice. I don 't recommend this place. Especially to those with disabilities."

"This was insane. I?ve had good Cuban food. But never THIS good. Every item blew me away and I?d come here again in an instant. We started off with mojitos and mango juice. Mojitos are considered the best in the city! I personally loved the mango juice as it was super thick and tasty. We then had their fried pork chunks with fried plantains happy hour appetizer. This pork was super crispy on the outside, and super tender and fatty on the inside. It was perfectly seasoned just enough for the meat to still remain the star with its fantastic texture. The fried plantain chips were served with a tangy lemon mojo (sauce) to dip them in. We then got some shrimp filled puffs. The shrimp were soft and savory and the puff was super light and airy. The main dish I had was the vaca frita. This shredded beef is served in a beautiful baked plantain atop mashed plantains. I chose sides of mixed black beans and rice as well as caramelized plantains. The meat was incredible. So much flavor infused into tender, shredded meat. The rice and beans were so good themselves I could eat a bowlful of that alone! And as always, plantains are so good when slightly sweet and caramelized. The final item we had was their dessert torreja. This is essentially French toast, bread pudding, crème brûlée creation. It?s the best dessert item I?ve ever had in my life. So soft and custardy while crisp on the outside. Served with an incredibly creamy vanilla ice cream. Absolutely stunning and blew me away! Overall Mojitos is an absolutely phenomenal restaurant with excellent dishes and one of the best desserts I?ve ever had!"

"Time and time again, Envigado impresses with its FIVE STAR FOOD AND SERVICE! Having lived in the Union City/Weehawken/NYC area for thirty years and being a loyal customer, I can confidently say this restaurant has never let me down. Once, when I had pneumonia, Oricales—truly the best staff member ever—sent me a large chicken soup on the house! The cafe con leche is consistently excellent—always hot, strong, and served in a generous cup. The food arrives promptly, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My favorites include the churrasco, the fried fish entrée, and the egg/ham/cheese sandwiches. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is simply to DIE FOR! If you haven’t tried the pork belly yet, you really should—it’s a must. The cracklings are wonderfully crispy. While it’s not exactly diet food, it’s authentic and incredibly tasty. I also highly recommend the buñuelos; they come in two sizes and are crispy on the outside while being soft and warm inside. Paired with a cafe con leche? OMG! Plus, all the bread and baked goods at Envigado are made in-house, so when you order a delicious Cuban sandwich, you can be sure the bread is fresh—made that same day by them. I cannot recommend this authentic restaurant enough! Many places try to replicate Cuban/Colombian/Latin American fusion cuisine, but none have succeeded like Envigado, which truly cares about its food and, more importantly, its customers. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If I could give them ten stars, I absolutely would! I can’t recommend them highly enough. Treat yourself and visit them today!"
