The prices are a bit high, but the food is truly excellent. I'm not sure if it's due to taxes or other factors, but it’s definitely worth it.

I love this place! Their rice and beans are the best I've ever had. The vibe of the restaurant is always lively and energetic. The staff is very nice as well. View menu

It is a buffet style restaurant. Their food looked and smelled good but their peppered steak was not good. I ordered ahead and wished I just walked in and ordered. Their steak was super tough and chewy.

Every dish we ordered was served hot and fresh! The steak sautéed with onions (Bistec Encebollado), the boneless fried chicken chunks (Chicharrón de Pollo sin Hueso), and the sweet plantains (Maduros) were all absolutely delicious!

El Pipo! I ordered multiple times and each time the food was fantastic! Absolutely incredible. The quality and consistency of the dishes are unbeatable. This is Dominican food made to the highest standards with the best ingredients. Wow! View menu

I used to order from this restaurant every now and then. However, today I ordered an octopus salad, and it was spoiled. When I called to ask if the salad was made fresh, I was told that it wasn't. I won't be coming back again. It's worth mentioning that I had to recommend a dish in order to leave this review, which isn't accurate. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

We had Steak Sauteed with Onions (Bistec Encebollado) , white rice beans, Sweet Plantains Maduros , Two Fried Pork Chops (2 Chuletas Fritas) with rice h beans, and for dessert, Tres leches cake. I also ordered a Lettuce, Tomato Cucumber Salad (Lechuga, Tomate y Pepino) . Everything was hot and tasty. I must say that they always pack everything carefully. They give plenty of portions. I have ordered many times from here and I will continue to do so.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
