The Mexican food is delicious and authentic. However, I wish they offered more vegetarian options.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. Coming from Arizona it was hard to find good Mexican food, but this place is wonderful. The enchiladas and burros were delicious, and you should ask for the spicy red sauce for some real heat.

The food was alright. I love the bistec when it?s wrapped in foil, this is because the flavor would often lose its taste when I would revive it in a white container. My order today was not the best but also not the worst. The torta was also good, the fries is what completes the meal. ? View menu

To be honest, I could have made a better meal at home (and I have, on several occasions). I genuinely want to support local businesses, but this one needs a lot of improvement. It felt as though the dish was made by an unskilled fry cook. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I always try to support local businesses, but this experience was a huge disappointment. This is the only restaurant I can’t recommend to anyone, and I certainly won’t return. I wanted to place an order, but then I got yelled at from the kitchen, which was really off-putting. They were shouting about a "fat one" coming, and it was all pretty ridiculous. What a shame.

Fantastic! If you're in search of authentic, delicious tacos, look no further. I'm posting this review after ordering twice in one week. The chorizo tacos are a perfect 10/10—crispy and bursting with flavor. The el pastor tacos have just the right hint of pineapple, and the carnitas are incredibly tender and clean. The enchiladas verdes are out of this world, full of vibrant flavor. The nachos look just like the picture on the menu—everything is great! Best authentic Mexican food on this side of Bergen County. Finally discovered the right place. It is truly authentic. Even serve cactus and radishes. Their carnitas is the best I have had here on the east coast. The steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly no matter what type of dish you order. Their side salsas are purely homemade and terrific. Tried all the Mexican restaurants in the area. Stumbled on this one by accident as you might not see it if you don't know where it is. Basic decor, small, family run. Best of the best. It's the ONLY place you will order from for Mexican once you have had it (unless you like the gimmicky cheese smothered inauthentic type of Mexican, which this is NOT)....

The service here is horrific. We sat down and had 5 different parties come in after us, each one was served drinks and salsa way before anyone even spoke to us. We even waved the young woman down she acknowledged she hadn 't served us yet and decided to take a phone call. When confronted about their service all we received was a sorry . This is our second time here. The food is okay but their service stinks, bad. We will drive a little dither for better Mexican food next time. You would think with a restaurant in such a small town they would be grateful for the customer. This is not the case with this restaurant. Such a shame. If you want some fresh and authentic Mexican food, this is your place to go to! Now, I have nothing against Tex-Mex food but places don 't highlight that part when you get somewhere and this is by far one of the most authentic places Ive been to. The inside was very clean and the staff was very nice, polite, and everyone was following the current COVID-19 guidelines. I ordered a Pancita which is a Mexican stew that consists of tripe (pork or beef).
