"At first, they said they could honor my breakfast order, but I needed to pay by card. I explained that my payment had to go through the app, but they still declined to help me. I suggested that since it was their mistake, they could let me pay for something that costs the same and just give me the breakfast I ordered, but they refused to cooperate. The manager, Roxanne, was particularly unhelpful and displayed poor customer service skills. I've dealt with another manager, Florence, in the past when I had an issue with my order, and she was much more accommodating and understanding. She recognized that when the company errs, customers should be given some flexibility. In the end, the $12.12 charge went through on my card anyway, making the whole experience frustrating and indicative of terrible service."

"I will not be returning. This place is simply the worst. It's conveniently located right off the highway, but they seem unable to keep or find staff. We had to wait four cars deep in the drive-thru, and it took an hour for our food to be brought to the table. While it's nice that they serve you at the table, it becomes impractical when there's only one employee managing 30 to 40 customers. We've tried this location several times and always experienced slow service and cold food. I really hope they consider increasing wages to attract more employees. It’s disheartening to see the staff working so hard but still falling behind. The tables were dirty, and the restroom hadn't been cleaned in days. The conditions were very poor. We arrived during the lunch rush, which might have contributed to the issues."

This was news to me, as I have never encountered this before. I understand that there may be some stray onions during the sandwich-making process, but the lack of communication and attention to detail at this McDonald's in Winnebago, Illinois is concerning. Additionally, I observed at least two employees on their phones while handling food orders, which raises concerns about cross-contamination. It is important for the staff to do better and maintain proper hygiene practices to ensure the safety of their customers."

"This is the best McDonald's I've ever visited, both in terms of food and service. The young lady working tonight, along with her colleague who has a tattoo on his arm, really keep this place running smoothly. They're incredibly busy and managing a high volume of customers with limited help, yet they still operate like a well-oiled machine. Please, don't be a difficult customer. It’s refreshing to see how the manager supports her team and fosters a collaborative environment. They have a big job on their hands. I did notice that some DoorDash drivers picking up orders tonight were unreasonably rude. If concerns about your hourly rate are weighing on you, perhaps using an app could help you track your earnings better. Thank you, Maine St.!"

"Would leave ZERO Stars! Literally! Go to ANY other McDonald 's! Constantly parks cars, even for small, quick orders, just to clear their Speed of Service Counter. My last order, 2 McDoubles, was parked and the order was cleared. As I went inside and found out I was forgotten about, no one had any idea what I was talking about! From the driver, on their behalf, as I watched all of this happen, from the passenger seat. Sadly, none of that is any stretch of the truth. I rarely leave fast food reviews because I don 't hold high expectations for them. I hope for 3 things at best: the right order, the right pricing, and edible food. But, this McDonald 's? Talk about leaving something to be desired. They constantly park cars. The food is rarely worth even McDonald 's pricing. If you look at their Photos here, you can see how they 've flooded it with company stock photos to blend in and hide the customer review photos. They 're also constantly out of items. From witnessing how consistently awful their drive thru service is, to a point of reliability, I 'm horrified to imagine what their inside service is like, not to mention other things, such as what their Food Safety Inspection score could be!"

"I visited this McDonald's for an early morning breakfast, and it was a pleasant experience. The service was quick, and my Sausage McMuffin with egg was well-prepared. "I've typically had a great experience at this location, but my visit tonight was disappointing. The food was ice cold after just a 5-minute drive home, and my son received a 4-piece nugget Happy Meal instead of the 6-piece we ordered. I ordered a large Big Mac meal, but what I got was a Big Mac with a medium drink and only half a large fries. This place really needs some strong management to address the issues they're facing. I do acknowledge that I could have checked the order before leaving, but I expected them to do their jobs correctly!"

"I usually like to have a bit of fun with my McDonald's reviews, but this one is truly exceptional. The food here ranks among the best I've had at McDonald's. However, what really stands out is the service and efficiency. The staff is so friendly that it almost feels surreal. There's no reason for someone at McDonald's to treat me like I'm traveling in business class with Jet Blue. The speed at which orders are prepared doesn’t compromise the quality of the food (it's amusing to think about quality when indulging in a month’s worth of sodium!). This location is a logistical dream. Fast food already holds a strong advantage over family-owned restaurants in any food court, but this McDonald's at Longwood Galleria is comparable to Metal Gear in the realm of food courts."
