"We dined on the patio it was hot but they had the fans blasting. It was dark outside so we couldn't see much of the view but what I saw was the golfing putt putt greens and some building but nothing lovely at all. The staff was friendly and nice. They let us stay late to enjoy ourselves bc we came late at 9pm (kitchen and bar last call is 9:45pm). Food was really good. I had the curry halibut and shared the ceviche (big slices instead of chunks) and the brussel sprouts. You must get the sprouts! The wine was ok. We enjoyed our evening there."

"I recently visited The Shilo Inn, home to The Portage Grill. I was a bit surprised to find Cajun dishes on the menu, especially given the location in the ravine. However, I must say it was the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. The food was outstanding and the view was fantastic. If you ever find yourself in The Dalles, be sure to stop by and see for yourself!"

"just a short review. our reservations were for a Saturday night at 6:30 a.m. we were greeted and sitting in time, and our drinks came out on time and well done. the salads were good. the escaped came, and that is where the dings broke down. a steak ordered medium plus came to old sattel leather cooked. the waitress offered to replace it with the bad warning that it could take a past, we are busy. my wife made a play attempt to eat what was served, but his food value had expired for a long time, so it usually remained uneaten. a glass wein ordered to be enjoyed with the escape, came dessert with the now complementary and long delayed. When the check arrived, we felt like we were hostaged in an evil denny's. remember that in okoboji in the next season, waters edge grille is a perfectly adequate restaurant. but well-run businesses do not overwhelm their kitchens and their waiting staff. they limit their reservations to meet their capacity. further well-run businesses know how to fix a kitchen defect with alacrity."

"The casual atmosphere allows for people of all ages to dine there. With the children’s menu and pipe cleaner toys, children feel welcome. The staff showed patience as we observed families, allowing children to drop food on the floor, as well as spill drinks. The hostess placed us in a quiet area, we only adults sat. Our waitress, Nicole, exemplified excellent service. She smiled with customers, as she scurried to do her job, as well as with her peers. Other personnel frowned as they completed the aforementioned tasks ;we felt grateful to have this ray of sunshine waitress. Our salads arrived in a timely manner. We questioned the $20 price, however, as lettuce overtook the few pieces of chicken and other items on our plates. Easy location, right off the highway plus convenient parking and outdoor dining when weather allows ."

"We usually go to NYAJ during a shopping trip. The food is always consistently good and reasonably priced. The only problem we've had the last two times we were there was waiting longer than usual to have our order taken and then waiting again prior to getting our drinks. It would be understood if they were very busy but neither time were they even close to being filled. That being said, it won't stop us from going there again when it's convenient. As far as what we ordered, we got their pizza and bottle of wine special. The pizza was prepared just as we asked and was very good. The wine isn't the best but is what I would call a decent table wine to drink with food."

"The entrees we had were herb encrusted haddock, bbq meatloaf, mustard chicken and chicken piccata. They were all very good but the mashed potatoes and spinach were salty as was the gravy in the meatloaf entree. The service was fine Marlo, our waitress was really great. She brought me the sautéed spinach when I realized my meal came with broccoli, which I can’t have. We liked the 2 different price options for the wine selections. Overall, it was a nice meal, nice atmosphere and an enjoyable time with friends."

"we had family here for thanksgiving and decided to dinner Friday night. we have a 2 year old, so of course we have all chosen to eat before we get it online. we come there and are started so easy so that they know that we do not serve a, b, c, d, this whole section, the whole section, etc. 3 of the adult including me selected pizzas before they go there. So we all find something else, I get kartoffel with my scorched chicken sandwich. the temperature of them was room temp best, I let them know they take them away and immediately bring me a new page of the same temperature potatoes? my waitresses said they probably have some from the same batch, which is why they are not hot. we moved from brighton, ma and went so often to watertown, because it was brilliant, I grew up in needham, where we went all the time as s family it was one of the first places I think. that was like eating in a completely different restaurant. it was just a bad experience and to round it off I was the one who could recommend it to my extra-city family. great disappointment."

"Update: I normally do not reply to responses, but I want to make it clear that my group did not stop in for free entertainment. We didn’t notice the $30 minimum sign until after we had ordered, but we did in fact purchase food items. And I am certain that the couple that we were with did meet the required threshold. We understand that business is business, but in all actuality, this situation was handled very poorly. I’ve never been asked to get up and sit outside of an establishment in which I was a paying patron until tonight. This was my second time visiting with my husband and another couple. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time that we decided to come back for another lively night of live music, but the experience we had tonight made us all feel very uncomfortable. We understand that this is a very high demand spot and reservations are recommended, but our original plans fell through so we decided to give cafe centro a try. The Hostess right away let us know that all of the tables were reserved but let us know that the bar was free and was first come first served. We aren’t big drinkers so we originally did not want to be seated at the bar, but we figured a seat at the bar was better than not being able to sit at all. Before sitting at the bar, we asked her to put us down in case a table became available. From my understanding, once we were seated, we were free to enjoy the entertainment for as long as we desired, but a couple of hours into the live show, the same hostess came and let us know that a table never became available but asked that we give up our seats at the bar and go outside to continue observing the show in order to make room for other patrons. This would normally have not been an issue, but the first time we visited, we observed the patrons at the bar enjoying themselves the entire evening, never being asked to leave. So we were caught off guard by her request and found it somewhat inappropriate. We eventually left, but it left a poor taste and we don’t plan to return."

"If you plan to eat here before a show at the Music Hall, definitely make a reservation! We arrived for ours at 5:45pm and people without reservations were being told the wait was an hour. The Happy Hour (ends at 6pm sharp) menu has good variety and prices. The pizza was a little skimpy on toppings, the cheese curds were very greasy and the fries that came with the sliders weren't fresh. As we've enjoyed these before during Happy Hour, and they've all been better, we'll try again."

"This place is gorgeous, huge and great for group dinners.The service was AMAZING!!! And the food was beyond delicious! They do serve almost everything in sharable portions, perfect for a dinner party of 4-5 people. And it was just… so so delicious!!!If you are looking for a place to have intimate conversations, while this place is everything awesome… it is not the place for you to have a quite convo. So keep that in mind. Everything else about Carmines was perfect. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience!!!"

"Looks the same -food was alrite Will have to try the ribs next time. I had chix sal (I'll give it a 10 out of ten) guest had a steak n shrimp, he gave it a 5 and not because anything was wrong with the steak or shrimp but because he ordered a baked potato with the meal and it was hard as in not baked all the way. He had the potato returned back to the kitchen and it was brought back out hard AGain REALLY! Waitress comes by and asked if everything was alright and we told her the potato was hard, she said well the whole batch must be that way (it was the same potato) she never takes it back they never bother to get us a f:in cooked potato. Spent 61.00 on our meals ????? Was really thinking about not tipping but I believe the waiter and Waitress were trying, I mean like we had to ask a few times for our drinks, we had to ask for silver ware after the food was severed but they did keep asking if everything was alright, like they really were trying to be good hosts so maybe they were new and didn't realize when you order a 39.00 dollar meal and specifically ask for a baked potato w/real batter THATS what you want."

"I have always liked Yard House and will always return especially since there food it always good. This particular time, the food wasn't great but still good. "We 7 ladies had a very nice waiter who was pleasant and accommodating. 5 ladies enjoyed their various selections, but myself and another lady had the chicken piccata, which was very salty. There were way too many capers and no hint of lemon at all. Neither of us could finish our plate due to the excessive last. Lastly, we were seated at the only table large enough to fit our group, and it was so sticky (tacky) that men use literally had to be peeled off the surface. We were told the varnish has been literally wiped off with the constant cleaning. Perhaps if this is the case, a table cover or place mat could help…or just fix the issue. Overall, I would give them a good rating…just correct the table issue, and use less salt in food. It can’t be removed, but can always be added!"

"I’ve been to Indulge many times and have never been disappointed. Their patio is one of my favorites in downtown Golden. Great people watching and pleasant shade. Happy hour drink and app deals are not to be missed. The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, and so far I’ve always seen the same staff consistently. Plus I usually run into/chat up equally friendly patrons. My favorite dishes are the ahi tuna guacamole and Washington Valley flatbread. I do wish they’d rotate their happy hour wine selections but beyond that I can’t offer too much constructive feedback. Kid-friendliness: High chairs, kids menu, and staff so kid-friendly they might steal your baby ?"

"It took almost minutes to get our food and they brought us the wrong dish and then when they did bring the new dish they didn't bring the vegetables so told them again what was wrong. "The name and the prices caught our attention. After considering a couple of other restaurants with fancy dishes and high prices, we opted for this more moderately priced place with the great name. It looked inviting from the parking lot and had a lovely interior. My husband ordered the enormous Smokehouse Burger, and it was excellent. After checking the calorie count, I chose the half Southwest Chop salad, which was delicious. My husband's fries were a delightful addition that made me feel less deprived, as they were fantastic. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere, which exceeded my husband's expectations for some reason. The bar was also busy, so the drinks must be good!"

"We had a reservation and were seated right away. We ordered drinks and appetizers, which were served quickly and were outstanding. Entrees came just as we were finishing salads and appetizers, so timing was good. We let our waiter know that we were thinking about a cheese cake dessert and she made sure to put one aside for us right away since they were running low. The salmon entree was outstanding, but the chicken parmigiana was awful. The pasta was overcooked and mushy and not drained well, which made the red sauce really thin. The chicken was not crispy. It seemed like it was finished in a microwave oven. We have been to that location several times and never had anything as bad as that before, so definitely not ordering it again."

"On Saturday night, the restaurant was very quiet. We were seated at 7:30 and no one else came in after us. I ordered the Sunday Ragu, and while the sauce was delicious, the sausage was just okay. The meatball was dry and overcooked, and instead of beef braciole, I received a stuffed chicken roll that I did not like. One of my friends ordered shrimp parm and enjoyed it, while another friend had the sausage scarpiello and thought it was only okay. Someone else ordered the veal and found it to be tough and dry, leaving most of the meal uneaten. However, dessert was very good. This was surprising because we had a great lunch there about a month ago. Perhaps it was just an off night."

There's no way that Caesar dressing was homemade tasted like it was squirted right from a bottle OR just had so much mayo and salt that it was nothing special. Clearly no garlic, anchovies, or fresh lemon juice. The pizza was also just so mediocre. Nothing special about the toppings, and the crust... THE CRUST. No character. No excitement. Go there, taste it for yourself, make your own judgment. Lol"

"The go-karts and games are definitely the highlights of this place. They have a nice selection of beers, but the food options were quite limited. We tried the guacamole, which was really good, but we were quite hungry! Our main issue was with the staff. Most of them seemed more interested in their phones and chatting with each other than in managing the games or engaging with customers. At one point, I had to approach a couple of girls to ask if they knew who was overseeing one of the games because we had been waiting for about five minutes without any help. However, the girl at the front counter was very friendly and helpful, though I didn’t catch her name. We enjoyed the games, but be aware that if some are out of service (three were when we visited), it can be quite disappointing. While we had a good time with the games we were able to play, we were equally let down by the customer service. I might consider returning to try out the games we missed, but I probably won’t be back for a while until things improve."
