"Our servers were very attentive. This was an anniversary and I noted it when the reservation was made. I think my husbands fish dish was overpriced $51. He said the taste was ok. As a vegetarian, I tried one of the few options, mushroom ravioli. Definitely not fresh pasta as the dough was a bit thick. Ok flavor. I had the chefs special salad which was greens with beets and slivers of almonds, some goat cheese, and a vinaigrette.. it was nothing spectacular. The greens were drenched and therefore really limp. But I decided not to do anything. Something was lacking in it. I remember this restaurant differently from in the past. I felt like this time it was a little more generic and just something was missing. I can’t place it. I’m not sure that it would be our first choice to come here next time. I think there’s probably better places where we can spend $400. I think you should try it because everyone’s taste is different. Perhaps there’s other things you’ll find on the menu that’s suitable to your taste, but the staff was great. I have no complaints of the staff. I do wish that there was a few more vegetarian items on the menu especially because that area seems to be an area where many vegetarians live and I have a feeling they avoid this restaurant."

"We have been to Wellington multiple times and never had a bad experience. Yesterday was a different story poor Jordan who was very friendly was overwhelmed because the room was full and she was the only waitress and she was also the hostess so we understand why she was so busy. Our appetizer was overly salty the fried artichoke hearts the meals came out at four separate times my plate of $42 sirloin steak was cold when I complained she took it back and brought it back lukewarm I couldn't even eat it they did take it off the bill though. The food was still salty. my daughter got the pulled pork sandwich ask for barbecue sauce which came 20 minutes later. My wife's meal was good she got the sirloin with lobster risotto my son ate his hamburger it seems like mine was the only real issue the service was slow but understandable as one person with a full room has a lot to do. Again that was my first bad experience at Wellington's not quite enough to cross it off the list but enough to make me think twice about returning. If the food and service are going to be like it was yesterday I would not recommend it to anyone but on prior experience and past visits I would certainly recommend it I don't know if yesterday was just a bad day for the kitchen or if that's their new normal."

"2 months ago I made reservations to sit on the water. when we were the blonde hostess there (name? was a complete spaz that ran around everywhere and told us that we had to find somewhere else. she was completely rude and unwilling. our waitress was abby or ally, she was brilliant and took the time to clean a table on the water. her service was fabulous. the square stools on which they sit are awfully uncomfortable. I ordered a lobster roll. it had a terrible spicy that made it bitter and I am sure it was white fish and not praised. I had a lot of lobsters, and that tasted nothing like praise. Apart from the point of view of the water, there was nothing outstanding at this restaurant and I would not recommend it or back. only one note: when I left, I stopped at the bar to change as a US dollar shock. when the barmaid returned it to Canada, I said I forgot that I would come back from Canada, but that was ok. However, that the same blonde hostess / waitress spoke up and said well they are in Canada . I did not have to be reminded of the obvious this rude person, I only gave a comment."

"First timers at Timmers! Beautiful property with lost of history. Our server was outstanding, food was delicious and cooked perfectly (we had the sea scallops and filet mignon). It was a Wednesday night so the dining room wasn’t overly busy and our food came quickly. We were too full for dessert but the dessert menu sure looked good too. We’re about a 50 minute drive from West Bend but are already planning to go back and will bring friends with us next time."

"We ordered two burgers, a side of fries and a side of onion rings. The burger had a bamboo stick in it but we pulled it out. However another bamboo piece was left in the burger and caught in my son‘s mouth. After we mentioned it to the server, the manager came over and made sure he was OK but then charged us for the full amount of the bill. Sort of odd."

"Came to eat here because we have passed it many times and thought we would check it out. What a mistake that was. Ordered the Italian Beef egg rolls. They were virtually inedible. Ordered the crabcakes. They obviously are not made in house and made with fake crab. Also inedible. My wife had the Filet trio. The filets were the size of a quarter. No joke. I had the Cioppino. I have had this dish in San Francisco, the birthplace of Cioppino, New York, Chicago and New Orleans. Have never had it served over a bed of noodles. Actually ruined the dish. I will say that my Coca-Cola was really good. Will never, ever return."

"The food was fine, but the service was lacking. There were plenty of servers, maybe too many. But presumably there wasn't enough help in the kitchen. Even though the place was less than full, it took at least minutes to get our food. And it wasn't our order, it was every table. The cost was a bit high and with the lack of promptness, I doubt we'll return."

"After my niece's wedding in Bethlehem, PA, we had a three hour break before the reception. We stopped by here to kill some time and have a bit to eat. Wish we could have stayed and eaten more! The small appetizers that we had were great. I had a bowl of avgolemonon (egg lemon) soup. It was delicious and that compliment is coming from someone who makes it all the time! I like it really lemony and it was just that. My cousins had egg plant dip with Pita bread. There was a lot of garlic in the egg plant dip as well as the Saziki sauce. That's the way I like it too, but it may not appeal to everyone. We were a fairly large group (about 10 of us). The service was excellent for such a large number of us who didn't make a reservation. Next time we go, we will definitely go with an empty stomach and with lots of time to enjoy our meal."

"This is the best little restaurant I've ever visited! There are plenty of seats for larger groups, so even if it seems busy at first, you'll still find a spot. If you're thinking of dining here, do it! Expect to spend around $12-15 per plate, but it's absolutely worth it. The portions are generous, and the food is fantastic. Be sure to try something unique, like the Alligator Nuggets, or the amazing catfish and trout dishes. The staff is always fantastic! Oh, and you absolutely must try their coconut cream dessert—it's incredible! The chefs here don’t just run a typical restaurant kitchen; they prepare everything to perfection. Please support this wonderful business; I really don't want to go anywhere else!"

"This Bru burger is located right opposite side of Fashion mall and have ample of parking spaces. I enjoy going to Bru burger in downtown Indianapolis so thought of checking this location out. Unfortunately the server who helped us was either new or not very well trained as we asked for beer options and I asked about the difference between 2 beers which I was getting confused on and she had no idea what the beers tasted like which was OK at first but when my brother inlaw asked the similar questions on 2 other drinks she was not sure on that too. After pacing the orders for out burgers they turned out well. So food was good only thing the service we got was not up to the mark. But I will surly give itanother try so.eday and might update later."

"Mac's on the pier is a great spot for a casual meal and we've been coming here for years but were pretty disappointed with our lunch there yesterday. Two of us ordered the fried oysters....one in po' boy and one plate. I'm not sure if the the fry oil needed to be changed or what but the oysters were fried to a dryness that was not pleasant or tasty. The po'boy orderer thought there was something missing in the sandwich. Not a cheap lunch and usually worth it but not so much this trip. Disappointing. Dietary restrictions: gluten free"

"Definitely a must on your journey in the PNW, great seafood! If food allergies (dairy/gluten) are a concern, you'll be taken care of and in heaven here. All GF menu; modify with dairy free too its no hassle. Seating may be an issue for bigger parties. The two of us grabbed a high top. Definitely grab the fried calamari and calamari salad! Fresh, lightly breaded and balanced ingredients with Oregon's finest EVOO and citrus dressing. I tried the half and half fish basket with Cod and Halibut; they come in one (1) oz nuggets and fries. The fish is so fresh, flaky, light and unsalted, but do come with dipping sauces that are perfect. Disappointed that I got the 6 oz instead of 8 Finish with a slice of Rawdacious Key lime cheesecake."

"Came here in a Sunday for brunch with the family, got a table across from the glass windows and had a lovely view of the ocean/beach. Our server was very attentive and knowledge about the menu. The manger did her rounds to make sure everyone had an outstanding experience while dining in the restaurant. Had an 11am reservation, quite in the beginning of our arrival with the restaurant filling within the hour. Perfect place to go if you’re looking for something a little more impressive"

"I visited this restaurant last Thursday with my girlfriend, cousin, and his fiancé. My cousin and his fiancé are big fans of this place, so they suggested that we give it a try. My girlfriend and I recently moved from California and have been searching for a great sushi spot. We debated whether to try the omakase or order sushi individually. Ultimately, we all decided to go for the $75 omakase (which was $25 off on Thursdays). The server seemed to be encouraging us to go for the omakase option. I felt that she was trying to upsell us a bit, but I understand that it's part of her job. We were served a total of 6 courses. The first course was a delicious mushroom soup that I would definitely come back for. The next course was a raw fish salad that I found enjoyable, although I couldn't identify all the ingredients. The fish was very fresh. Following that, we had some dumplings which were good, but didn't particularly impress me. After the dumplings, we were served an udon curry dish and two nigiri pairings. I really enjoyed the udon noodles - the sauce was good, but the noodles were the standout. The second nigiri pairing, featuring tuna, was especially tasty. If I were to return, I would likely opt for the $125 omakase or order individual items. The omakase we had was good, but I wished there had been more raw fish. Overall, I would rate my experience a 7.1 out of 10. The food was good, the service was average, and the atmosphere was cool. There weren't many people there when we visited, but the neighborhood seemed nice."

"My wife and I went to Hemispheres for our Anniversary. Our experience was uneven and somewhat disappointing. We did have some good dishes there. The problem was consistency, particularly with seasoning. We had the duck breast with goat cheese appetizer which was excellent. My flat iron steak was also very good. The grilled caesar salad was OK as a novelty. I didn’t like it as much as a standard caesar. My wife ordered the lamb shank and found it extremely salty. I tasted it and it did taste like it was soaked in brine. My wife brought it to the server’s attention and their solution was to bring out chimichurri sauce for the lamb. While less salty, it didn’t solve the salty lamb problem. My truffle risotto, while well flavored, was under-salted. I am not prone to complaining and have given many five star reviews, but Hemispheres is one of the most expensive restaurants in the Quad Cities. At the prices they ask, I would expect better quality control in what comes out of the kitchen."

"food was decent at best, service was not at all diligent. we had a photographer with us for a friend's birthday dinner and the wait staff left every empty cup and plate on the table. we actually put all the empty cups and plates on one side of the table so we could take pictures, and the wait staff still didn't move it all. that was ridiculous, especially for the price."

"Another fabulous evening spent at 28 Atlantic. This is our family go to for special events. Tonight we were celebrating both of my parents birthdays. The view is stunning, but get there early as the sun is going down earlier now that it’s Autumn. Our waitress Renee was attentive and very knowledgable about the menu, easily answering all our questions. One of our guests has a food allergy and the kitchen and staff were able to make adjustments to certain dishes and were very careful to make sure she was served the correct dishes. I could tell she was very pleased with the experience. The food as always was delicious, some of the highlights were the halibut, the beef cheek dish and the fig and burrata salad. The staff made my parents feel so special, it is a fantastic spot for celebrating milestones or occasions. It can be hard to get a reservation in the summer so if you are visiting the Cape in the Fall I would make a real effort to enjoy dinner here."

"Overall, the experience was quite disappointing, from the ambiance to the menu offerings and the food itself. The appetizer, which was the onion, was enjoyable, but the main courses left much to be desired; they were all quite bland. We tried their signature French Dip, Jalapeno Burger, and a BLT, but none of us were particularly impressed. Our waitress forgot our ketchup three times, and we eventually stopped asking for it. Additionally, the sodas tasted very diluted. I would recommend looking for other dining options."
