"The service is typically fast and the food is good. The restaurant is currently undergoing some remodeling and rearranging, but it doesn't affect the service. I'm not a fan of the surcharge for using my card, but overall, it's a decent option for quick meals on the go."

"This place has the vibe of a previous Western Sizzling, with an obsession with trains, specifically the 611. They serve Coke products, although the Coke is slightly 'watered down' in taste, served in small glasses. The servers while friendly and mostly attentive don't all wear the same uniform. Some wearing the 611 t-shirt, while others wearing plain clothes. Buffet bar includes a salad, vegetable, soup, taco, and dessert section with ice cream machine. Only meat on the buffet is the taco meat. Nothing special about the buffet selections, all seem to be Sysco supplied with a very commercial taste. The chili beans had dried out on top and looked like they could have been stirred up - not really something that they stay on top of to keep the bar appetizing. Soup selections included overly chunky vegetable soup, and potato soup. The potato soup was pretty bland even after adding bacon bits, chives, and cheese. Most items do not include the bar, but it can be added for around $3.50. We ordered steak and the cook temps were way off. I ordered medium rare and it came out medium; very medium and on the border of medium well. The cover the low quality of the meat with a salt seasoning that did make it taste a little better. When entering, there is a meat case with steaks in it; these are by far NOT the same steaks that will arrive to your table. Rolls to the table while your waiting, with the good honey butter. If they aren't busy your main food will be out before you can eat your salad. All in all not to expensive and you can get a good variety at a decent price. This is a nice family spot, not somewhere you would take a hot date trying to impress them."

"possibly the best French restaurant in houston. this is French inspired by a small Texas twist. the meal began with a black truffle veloute, which was simply amazing. I think it was the cayenne pfefferflacken. I had a French tweeper soup that was very good. Sweet tweepers and the addition of ricotta made this somewhat thicker and creamier than a traditional version and it worked well. I also had the risotto with lobster artichoke and spinat. very pleasant, very full but I saved space for the chocolate soufflé. my wife had the lumpy crab with avocado, soy-yuzu vanaigrette endive followed by the roasted lamb with Yukon gold potatoes and lamb jus. they have parking before and at the weekend also the self parking space is free in return. not sure that you choose a bad menu item here. we will return."

"We just left here. I spent 65 dollars on over cooked dried cod. I didn't eat the fish and spent $13 on a meal that consisted of a peice of bread and less than half the fries. My daughters chicken wings were so over cooked her teeth couldn't bite through them. Our waitress didn't bring us water the entire time we had food, she finally brought a water pitcher over... at the same time as the bill. Didn't bother to ask why my daughter and I didn't eat our food. I wish we felt like we could return there, but we won't."

"We vacation in Cable, Wisconsin (about 30 minutes north of Hayward) at least once a year, and we always make a point to stop by the Cable Cafe. The food has a delightful homemade taste, and the staff is consistently friendly. However, I wouldn't recommend going there if you're in a rush. Sometimes we receive our food relatively quickly, but more often than not, there's a significant wait. They even have a sign stating that they are not a fast-food restaurant. If you maintain a positive attitude, the wait can be an opportunity to relax and chat with your dining companions, and the coffee is good with refills offered without needing to ask. The cafe seats 26 people, but the layout can feel a bit cramped. It used to be an ice cream shop called the Swirl Inn and has undergone several name and ownership changes over the years."

"This restaurant was a hidden gem for us until our neighbors recommended it. Although small in size, the food was fantastic and the staff was attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience and thoroughly enjoyed our visit."

"vibes was good. However, the server seemed to discriminate. we were the only Asian people there. I ordered a happy hour beer and it would not come for 20 minutes while other people were served so we asked two other waiters and finally got it. until then I was as if it were in order. but I ordered a second happy hour beer and it did not come out, so I called the bartender and asked. he rolled his eyes and was like I already had you. So I told him we ordered a second, and he makes an rude face and jumps the beer over. then he goes to the white girl sitting next to me and leaning in with a smile and was so generous and beautiful. it was very rude and respectful."

"We typically visit Tin Can for their Gulf Coast oysters, and this time we were able to try their Chesapeake Bay oysters. While they were delicious, they were a bit smaller in size compared to the Gulf Coast ones. However, the standout dish for me was the Paella, which is now in my top 3 Paellas of all time. It was packed with seafood like mussels, calamari, large shrimp, spicy chorizo, and chicken. The consistency of the paella was perfect, and it was served piping hot. I will definitely be returning to Tin Can frequently!"

"If you want the absolute best and freshest seafood, Alex’s at the NCC Farmers Market should be your FIRST STOP. After many years of purchasing his seafood it is the #1 place in Delaware without a doubt. I’ve bought every from shrimp to king crab and my favorite, JUMBO LOBSTER TAILS. As far as pricing goes Alex ‘s seafood is cheaper than any other in Delaware! Most recently Jason pulled eight (8) MONSTER LOBSTER TAILS for me ranging in weight from 1.7 to 2.7 lbs. These tails were so tender you could cut with a fork. Incredible quality and tasted like they just came off the boat. Jason is also quick to share cooking techniques to make sure you have a successful party. My guests were blown away when these tails came out of the oven which they will talk about that dinner for years to come."

"Would return for service alone! I went with my adult (and elementary aged) kids yesterday and wondered how I’ve never been before! Nobody’s drink was ever empty, nobody walked past us and left empty plates/glasses/bottles on our table, and our server Kayla was great! The food was standard pub fare and came out hot, and in a reasonable amount of time. The patio is cozy, drinks were cold. We really haven’t experienced service like this in a long time. We will definitely be back again!"

"my family owned this bar a few decades ago, and some of the better things have not changed. I have to admit, I was there tonight for dinner and everyone at my table ordered a variation of a burger; and we all had different tastes. Shortly after eating, I looked around the food and was really really surprised how perfect they were cooked to each of our favorites, even more impressive that they still all came out at the same time. I was in many a restaurant and bought some high-dollar food. I was on places where they pay an astronomical price for eating, and was not so impressed. I literally took the time to comment with my family shortly after eating. Of course I was very happy with my meal, and they just made it so much better. I'm just really impressed, and I didn't expect it."

"Fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants in town. Small plates are larger than you’d expect and large plates are enormous. Favorites have been Dan Dan Noodles and the sushi rolls but all the food we’ve had so far is great as are the drinks. Terrific specialty cocktails and four different non alcoholic beers which is great for those who want a non alcoholic drink choice. Atmosphere is relaxed but also very clean and service is attentive but not overbearing. Can’t recommend it enough."

"I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, the coffee tasted like warm water, and the service was just average. I ordered cookies and gravy, along with eggs and bacon, but everything lacked flavor and was barely warm. This was definitely the worst dining experience I've ever had."

"This restaurant was one of the first places I visited when I moved back to Wisconsin. I missed my Friday night Fish Fries and my new roommate said this was a popular place. He was definitely right. The place was packed when we got there (no reservations taken) and we ended up waiting about 1/2 hour before being seated. Was the food worth waiting for? YES! Crispy battered fish with a flaky tender middle...I was in fish fry heaven. I believe it came with a potato pancake, applesauce, coleslaw and a slice of rye bread. I ordered the pistachio torte for dessert, and although it was tasty, I was expecting something different. My German background says a torte is layers of cake with filling, but this was just basically pistachio pudding, layered with whipped cream and cake. More like what you might bring to a potluck dinner than a restaurant dessert. Yes, I ate it all, and it was tasty... just not what I expected. The other nice thing about the restaurant is the wide selection of cocktails and beer. Which isn 't surprising, since it is a bar and grill. I had a satisfying dark beer that was perfect with my fish fry. I 've been back several times and although it is always busy, it still is one of my favorite restaurants. But I still can 't figure out why it is called the Scenic Bar ... it 's on a street corner, not by the lake or river. Absolutely nothing scenic about it."

"This food is incredible! The restaurant is well-suited to the local palate. The efficiency is impressive—it's like a well-oiled machine, churning out dishes as soon as customers place their orders. Everyone knows their role, so if you decide to go, be prepared! Have your order ready when it's your turn; don't stand there trying to decide. And remember, always be ready to enjoy the seasonal menu. I had two pieces of Welsche Kamm with fries, and it was some of the best catfish I've ever tasted. I can't wait to go back and try something else! Don't let the exterior, the clientele, or the atmosphere deter you—just get in there and get your food. You definitely won't regret it!"
