"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"I have never given a low review before, but today I went to this restaurant with 6 friends, it was our first time going here. Most of the food we ordered missed flavour or didn't taste good. Food to avoid the caesar salad because of the bland taste. All food was not worth the price. Many problems occurred while we were here. 1. They ran out of steak as their main dish - half of my friends wanted the steak, so they ended up being disappointed right off the bat 2. I ordered a small caesar salad with a side of grilled chicken very well done. The waitress came out with my order wrong with a large salad instead of a small salad and with the chicken not cooked well done. I ended up mentioning this to my waitress because I didn't want to get over charged. So instead of offering to leave my plate as is as a large at no charge for their own mistake the waitress took it away and brought me back the correct order except the chicken was thrown on a tiny soup bowl plate which looked unappealing and odd to overall eat (reference my photo). 3. We were only given small glasses for our water, but when we looked around the other guests had big glasses with ice/ lemons/ straws. We didn't appreciate being the only table served with small glasses of water while everyone's water was more standard compared to ours. Smack water is exactly what it stands for it tastes like smack!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"It took 3 hours for our visit. Our server, while it was pleasant, had difficulty operating the table. She lost the order of our table and asked for our decisions. It was obvious that she had not been trained to treat this kind of job. The waiting staff could not bring records when appetizers were served. We had to constantly ask where our drinks were. The restaurant was not busy until we left, with a number of open tables. The manager calculated the food bill."

"It’s very upsetting when people leave fake reviews. You can tell especially when you see so many positive reviews in a row. First time here, and spent over $80.00 for food that tasted as if it were microwaved. Ordered the bang shrimp and it was very chewy/overcooked. It was laid on a bed of lettuce which ended up with most of the sauce. My fettuccine with mushrooms was very watery, gross consistency. The pasta was too firm. How do you mess up fettuccine? The chicken that I ordered on the side wasn’t too bad. The shrimp scampi was very salty with too much vodka sauce. The restaurant was quite empty, but the service was poor. The waiter walked by a few times and I know that he noticed our empty glasses, but didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted a refill or even an alcoholic beverage. I finally grabbed him when he walked by again and asked him for a refill, but he wandered off and welcomed a group of 4 at the bar instead, and started to make their drinks before getting a refill for me. Then he completely forgets about my refill, because of how long he took mixing cocktails, and asks us if we want a refill when we’re already fed up and wanting to leave. I honestly feel like it could have been because we were women. There was literally another table there with a couple who was finishing up. Why the poor service? Very upsetting to go out on a Saturday wanting to enjoy yourself and have some drinks, but spend way too much for bad food and service. This restaurant is like the equivalent to Olive Garden but quadruple the price. We didn’t even get a “thank you for your business” when leaving. No “hello” or “goodbye” ridiculous. Again, please remember it was pretty dead in there. For the amount we paid I expect better service. I would never come back, nor recommend this place. UPDATE: 1) I find it extremely hard to believe that your restaurant deserves close to 5 stars on its own, without family and close friends leaving reviews for you. Also, never did I state that you paid for reviews. This is MY opinion. You are no where near the rating that you have on Google. You have similar ratings to restaurants like Gibsons, which is absolutely absurd! You are no where near that level in ANY way. 2) I said that the food tasted as if it were microwaved. You responded that you do not have a microwave Great! Have a talk with your chef so that you can figure out why the shrimp was so chewy, and why the pasta sauces were so salty/watery and then come up with a solution on how to improve for future patrons. 3) You do not use vodka sauce in your shrimp scampi, then why did my sauce have a strong taste? Possibly wrong sauce used? 4)Your response is ridiculous here. How can you tell me what I experienced? You are being dismissive. Again, reread my review. I was not offered any alcoholic beverages. Yes, you’re correct, there was a menu on the table. What is your point? I said service was slow and the server was not attentive (other reviews state the same). Why order more? 5) Yes you quickly checked on us, yet you still couldn’t tell that we were not happy? Didn’t notice the empty glasses in front of you? What would you like? I was not looking for any discounts, or a free meal, or even a different meal. How do you mess up fettuccine? Why even try anything else? We were already fed up and ready to leave with how long everything took, especially when you admitted to how slow it was. You’re dismissive. 6) It’s not because I was a woman? Wonderful. Your mansplaining, and invalidating my personal experience, begs to differ. 7) BINGO! It was dead. I understand what time it was. I was questioning why the slow/poor service. I PAID $80 for a bad meal with bad service. I expected more after reading your “not fake” reviews. It’s upsetting. 8) Now you’re calling me a liar? Perhaps the goodbye happened when I was already in my car and pulling out of the parking lot? I heard nothing from your staff. You can take this review and choose to either improve for the better, or continue to mansplain some more and call customers liars. It’s up to you."

"I met up with some friends for lunch and we took advantage of the lovely patio on a sunny day. Our waitress was very attentive and let us chat for a long time without making us feel rushed, which was nice. Unfortunately, the lamb burger I ordered was dry and didn't meet the high standard I've had in the past. However, my friends seemed to enjoy their meals. Overall, I was pleased with the experience except for the food. I still plan to return, as I usually have a much better dining experience there. Hopefully, this disappointing meal was just a one-off."

"Doesn't look like much from the outside but Nostos is really fantastic! Ordered take out from here with a friend and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a traditional Greek salad, which came with pita and a large chunk of feta cheese. We also got an appetizer of spanakopita, a side of lemon potatoes and we decided to split the chicken gyro platter. It was plenty of food for the two of us and we really enjoyed all of the food! The Greek salad was a generous portion, came with a side of dressing and pita bread. The spanakopita was delicious! Just like mom makes. Bursting with flavor. The lemon potatoes were terrific. I asked to substitute lemon potatoes for the fries which was an excellent choice considering the lemon potatoes were delicious! The chicken gyro platter was fantastic as well. Chicken was juicy had a lot of flavor. The platter came with a side of tzatziki, a side salad, two chicken skewers and a generous portion of pita. Overall, we really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back in the near future! Highly recommend coming to Nostos if your looking for some traditional delicious Greek food!!"

"This is the best little restaurant I've ever visited! There are plenty of seats for larger groups, so even if it seems busy at first, you'll still find a spot. If you're thinking of dining here, do it! Expect to spend around $12-15 per plate, but it's absolutely worth it. The portions are generous, and the food is fantastic. Be sure to try something unique, like the Alligator Nuggets, or the amazing catfish and trout dishes. The staff is always fantastic! Oh, and you absolutely must try their coconut cream dessert—it's incredible! The chefs here don’t just run a typical restaurant kitchen; they prepare everything to perfection. Please support this wonderful business; I really don't want to go anywhere else!"

"First time visitor. Good burger selection...or you can just create one of your own liking. Can even substitute chicken instead of a burger. Server was nice but service was rather slow. But two in our party were late getting there so that may have been partly to blame. But still, we sat there with our menus on the table for well over 20 minutes before taking our food orders. Manager never came to ask us how things were. We like that sort of thing usually. Probably won 't go back any time soon. The reason we went there was for the Indy Devour menu. But it was just as cheap to order off the regular menu. We normally go to more upscale places during devour and that is definitely not the case at those places."

"Mac's on the pier is a great spot for a casual meal and we've been coming here for years but were pretty disappointed with our lunch there yesterday. Two of us ordered the fried oysters....one in po' boy and one plate. I'm not sure if the the fry oil needed to be changed or what but the oysters were fried to a dryness that was not pleasant or tasty. The po'boy orderer thought there was something missing in the sandwich. Not a cheap lunch and usually worth it but not so much this trip. Disappointing. Dietary restrictions: gluten free"

"Easily one of the best meals I have had anywhere in the states, or anywhere. Let’s start from the beginning- a perfect mezcal cocktail with a tejan rim. The sourness of the lime could not be a more perfect complement to the smokiness of the mezcal. Followed it with the warm spinach salad, served with full thick slices of bacon, deconstructed, crumbled feta and pomegranate seed, and a scallion dressing. This is easily one of the best apps with an exquisite flavor. I had a hanging tender steak, rare, with a bordelaise. In the Midwest, a perfect bordelaise (red wine sauce); I’m floored. They have a wonderful wine list and the Bordeaux provided the match. Roasted fingerlings and grilled broccolini. There cannot be a better restaurant in the area- it’s just not possible. Many items to choose from. And you choose your own ‘finish’ and two sides. This is a must visit for any food lover, and worth driving for hours, or rerouting in order to experience. And, great service."

"Definitely a must on your journey in the PNW, great seafood! If food allergies (dairy/gluten) are a concern, you'll be taken care of and in heaven here. All GF menu; modify with dairy free too its no hassle. Seating may be an issue for bigger parties. The two of us grabbed a high top. Definitely grab the fried calamari and calamari salad! Fresh, lightly breaded and balanced ingredients with Oregon's finest EVOO and citrus dressing. I tried the half and half fish basket with Cod and Halibut; they come in one (1) oz nuggets and fries. The fish is so fresh, flaky, light and unsalted, but do come with dipping sauces that are perfect. Disappointed that I got the 6 oz instead of 8 Finish with a slice of Rawdacious Key lime cheesecake."

"We had a reservation but chose to sit on the patio for an hour to enjoy the great view and have some drinks. The hostess moved the reservation and accommodated our request. Rachel took care of our table in the patio and she was great. Service that was fast and efficient and with a smile! The cocktails were pretty good as well. Lisa took over the table when we moved inside the restaurant and she was great too. Food for our table of 8 ranged between sandwiches to steak to seafood. Everything came out as expected. Deserts were a big hit. Kyle was in the restaurant and he approached every table to check if the guests were satisfied. That was a nice gesture. Overall experience was good on this visit and hence the 4 stars."

"I wish I could give a negative star to this restaurant. My friend was visiting from Philadelphia, and we were so excited for restaurant week. I made a reservation weeks ahead, and we still had to wait minutes for our first course. When the first course came out, the server spilled an entire bowl of soup all over the table, all over my friend's clothes, and splattered all over my purse and jacket. At first, we were very understanding since mistakes can be made. Well, the server just gave us some wet wipes to clean our clothes but never offered or showed proactiveness to clean the table for us. Then he offered a free dessert... We started getting really frustrated because we couldn't believe that that was the best that they can do. So we asked to speak to the manager, and the manager Tania came by with very frustrated attitude, and said We can give you a dessert and discount. But that's all we can do. What else do you want us to do? Give you a free meal? We can't do that. It was a mistake. First off, we were not at all looking for a free meal as we were already planning to spend money for the restaurant week experience and drinks. But she had completely disregarded our plans for the evening which was already delayed because of late service and we had a showing to go to, which we now had to rush through our meal. Then she acted as if we were being unreasonable for being frustrated at her attitude. We didn't finish the meal and ended up leaving, and our dinner plan was completely ruined. We will NEVER go back to this restaurant, and we wish that the restaurant wouldn't do this to any other customer, but I wouldn't be surprised if they continued offering this kind of rude service"

"food was decent at best, service was not at all diligent. we had a photographer with us for a friend's birthday dinner and the wait staff left every empty cup and plate on the table. we actually put all the empty cups and plates on one side of the table so we could take pictures, and the wait staff still didn't move it all. that was ridiculous, especially for the price."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I thought it was strange that there were two tables on a Saturday night at 7:00 in what the website does to a pulsating sports bar. Are you advertising ?come to see the game? but there is t a tv in the PMs e, only a small children's playroom. Order a vodka soda and forget the vodka. Glad I was thirsty. The menus looked very weak and blur both in terms of menu items and the actual menu in the hand. I felt the need to wash my hands after handling. 6 pages of the most basic things on a bar menu. Wings were decent. Not good, decent. Ranch was watered and the three brown damaging celery sticks made the actual food great for comparison. Has someone seen similar to a hostess/host or a managerial guest you don't need when you have t customers. I tapped the server well because he tried, just had no training or hint what he did. Of course not be back."
