"Food was delicious! We had the clams on the half shell, They were fresh although smaller than normal. The lobster bisque was fantastic, with plenty of lobster chunks throughout. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare with a slight crust. The side of mashed potatoes was ultra smooth and creamy and the sautéed spinach was well flavored. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, however he came off as stiff and a tad on the unfriendly side. Maybe a better description would be emotionless. The rest of the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. I would not hesitate to dine here again Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten allergy and was easily and expertly accomodated"

"Wanted to love it after all of the great things I've heard, but honestly, everything was just ok. Our steaks were warm, but not juicy and hot. The two best things I ate were the brussels sprouts and the hot rolls in the cast iron skillet which were both wonderful!!! We had an early reservation 5:30 pm, but they seated us in the middle of the restaurant and I wished we were elsewhere. The desserts were okay, but I think they could have been better if they were hot. (We had the apple cobbler (hot dish, but cobbler wasn't hot and bread pudding which was cold. If we return, we will know how to request some different things. The service was very good and people were very nice; we were just underwhelmed with most of the food."

"It was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we had a delightful experience! Our waitress, Zoey, was extremely helpful with the menu options. We appreciated the concept of shared plates and decided to try the smash burger special, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The Bourbon flight was a wonderful surprise for our guest visiting from Kentucky. Overall, we definitely plan to return for another enjoyable evening!"

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"My family was treated bad and was not allowed to go inside the restaurant since we had a service animal. The owner(Joe) treated us with no dignity and we were expelled from the restaurant stating that our service animal does not have proper documentation and we are interrupting his busy schedule of business. "It was a great experience! Loved our very nice and professional server and our chef was great the food was DELICIOUS!! We had a wonderful time all made possible by everyone we encountered from reservation making to arrival at the restaurant all the way through the evening. We had a perfect time! They helped make my daughter’s birthday dinner a great success!! Not bad thing to say about any of it!! We’ve celebrated every birthday for my daughter at Benihanas for quite a number of years, it’s her traditional birthday wish and her favorite place to go for any celebration, so we know Benihana and this location with this particular Chef is one of our favorites. He is excellent! Our servers are sometimes hit or miss but our server last night was awesome!! Great job to the management for having such exceptional staff"

"we were at the weekend in the city and had to observe the ufc. we heard that it was jay zs place, so it was about to check it. the design of the location is well thought out. we were standing on the stairs. the food and the drinks were good value. we ordered a lot of appetizers as most were under $30 and got a bottle of casamigos. Surprisingly, the bottles were not too strong. the hostess was friendly enough to give us a visit to the place. the walls in the curse are full of jerseys. for private functions they have separate lounge areas, and the largest room has its own bar, tw and pool table. was a fun night with pena and olivera win."

"The entrance may appear unassuming and somewhat rough around the edges, but don’t let that deter you; this place is well worth a stop for a meal. The bar area at the front, which is partially outdoors, is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are fantastic. One downside is that this is also where smokers gather, which can be a drawback for non-smokers like us (though we did enjoy sitting outside during a previous visit). So, we opted to head inside instead. The waitstaff is friendly and quick with drinks and food service. If you arrive early, you can expect faster service since the restaurant tends to fill up later. The menu changes frequently and often features a catch of the day. Additionally, they offer to cook your fresh catch if you book in advance. I particularly love the lobster, which comes with a generous side of potatoes, veggies, salad, and more. The appetizers are fantastic, especially the jumbo shrimp. The coconut shrimp is an extraordinary main dish; the shrimp are large, coated with a thick, crispy, and sweet coconut layer—definitely some of the best coconut shrimp you’ll find in Florida. Beer enthusiasts will be delighted, as the Castaway has an impressive selection of beers—over dozens to choose from. You can savor your favorite seafood while enjoying a beer tasting experience, and there are draft specials for those on a budget. When we visited this past Christmas, we were pleasantly surprised that some entrée prices had actually decreased since our last visit two years ago. The Castaway is ideal for families or a group of adults looking for a fun dinner with drinks. The snapper dish is one of my favorites, and the grouper is simply delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. While many seafood restaurants can be a bit pricey, the Castaway offers great value for the quality of food, service, and unique atmosphere. Whether you are headed to Key Largo or Key West, make sure to include a visit to this restaurant on your journey through the Keys."

"Came here with my husband for our anniversary. This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to together. We both always have a great time. We order a bottle of our favorite wine, which happened to be off which was great. We also love their raw oysters. If you like bigger oysters you have to try these! For dinner my husband got the land and sea, filet with shrimp and scallops, incredible as always. I got the shrimp and lobster roll which was a new pick for me and it was delicious, really creamy sauce and the shrimp was huge! We requested Lindsay as our server because we always love when she takes care of us. It was a wonderful experience"
