"I typically don't write reviews unless I have something positive to share, but my experience today was exceptionally disappointing. The manager, Jenny, was quite rude. We waited a long time for our food despite the parking lot not being busy, and we had parked right at the front. When my steak finally arrived, it was very cold. The waitress was apologetic and said they would remake it for us. Given the long wait, she offered to remove the cold steak from our bill. When she brought the new plate, she apologized again. However, when we received our bill, I saw I was charged for the second plate. The manager explained that she removed the charge for the cold steak but had to charge me for the second one since I had eaten it. She insisted that only she had the authority to adjust the bill, not the waitress. I explained that I hadn’t eaten it because I wasn’t hungry anymore, to which she responded, “I’ll take it off, but leave it on the table!” She raised her voice and rolled her eyes at me, which I found completely unacceptable from a manager. I've never experienced anything like it before. I left the steak on the table and decided I would never return."

"Half an hour for a drink order to arrive is too long. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks, both times it took at least 30 minutes for them to arrive. The restaurant was not super busy. The bar area had empty spots. The bar itself was half empty. It didn't matter if we ordered through our server or the manager. There was also the fact our server didn't check how our meal was. The quality of our meal was OK though some of the fried chicken was dry and lacking flavor. Isn't that supposed to be a specialty of this establishment (especially when the menu is mercifully concise and not too long)? But the enjoyment of the food was marred when our server made a big sloppy wipe of her nose while standing at our table."

"We spent the day in the Bishops Arts area. Stopped in Enzo's with a party of 6 for pizza. We had salads, artichoke dip and pizza. The bartender was very friendly. The waiter was attentive. The artichoke dip was good, totally different than the usual, salads were fresh, the pizza is more of a flat bread. It is like pizza toppings on a cracker. It was a nice change and everyone enjoyed it but it was not the usual pizza. The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant has a great location. We had a good time and would come again."

"My lobster bisque was lumpy and lukewarm and really didnt taste like lobster, more like flour and water. I forgot to tell them I didnt want the creme fresh on top (my bad) but when they brought it back, you could tell they had just scooped out the creme and poured a little more soup in the bowl. The soup was dripping off and all over the bowl just no presentation at all. My wedge salad was brown and rotted on the inside. Just not appetizing. Everyone else seemed to like their food okay. Not their best meal they said but good. The server was nice but didnt have any idea how to serve or he didnt care. Spilled champagne all over the table when trying to pour mimosas and kept reaching over my dad to hand me things when you are supposed to come to the other side of the table. Didnt clear used plates to make room for next course. Just lacked training. This place use to be so great but its clear now that a big chain has purchased them, no one cares at all the level of service you receive. I really wanted to eat something with lump crab or fresh lobster but just did not trust the quality. After seeing how everyone acted. Truly sad."

"Fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere was buzzing and had a great vibe in there. We were greeted with a smile and shown straight to our table. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. He had a great sense of humour and with his charm and wit put us at ease straight away. We were rather overwhelmed by the menu having lots of tasty options we found it hard to choose!! And sensing our confusion our waiter came over and offered advice and help and his own personal recommendations (the Korean BBQ Wings WOW). The cocktails were delicious and the food was every bit as nice as it sounded. All for what we felt were very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate to return next time we are in the area!"

"Ordered the fried catfish jambalaya with a side order of hush puppies and 3 piece catfish basket that includes fries and hush puppies with coleslaw. The temperature and taste of the food was good. The jambalaya was a bit spicy for my taste, and the catfish was thinly cut. So much so that sections of the pieces were too hard to consume. The sweet tea mixed with fresh lemonade was very good. The hush puppies were excellent; the side order was huge. Very much worth the extra $2! Would visit again but would order more pieces of catfish if getting the basket again."

"I placed a to-go order for crab fried rice at 7:12 PM on July 27, 2008. The manager at the bar informed me it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 PM, I paid for my order, but then had to wait an additional 15 minutes to receive my food. The manager, an older woman with short dark hair, was exceptionally rude, raising her voice at me when I inquired about the delay, as it had been nearly 50 minutes since I placed my order. When I requested to speak to a manager, she claimed she was the manager and walked away while I tried to express my dissatisfaction with her service and attitude. This is not how a customer should be treated! She showed no remorse and was extremely disrespectful."

"Good solid breakfast place. The queso is really good. I had the Cuban Benedict’s. Eggs were cooked perfectly, hollandaise sauce was good. The pulled pork could have used some flavor but was still good. My wife had the Kirby plate. She enjoyed it but the staff had forgotten I came with sausage and bacon which we had to ask for."

"BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.. I wouldn't rate this place anything.. first and last time there such a weird experience..the food definitely low quality. When it was time to leave i asked for the bill. She brought me the check handed her my card in her hand. She then came back with the book and no card just the receipt of the charge. When I asked for my card she couldn't find it. Stood there for half an hour making sure they would find my card. Told them to look on the cameras and the man showed me he was looking at the video.. all I saw in the video was his back blocking the camera nothing was getting solved. Customers started asking what was it that we lost. We explain that they charged us but never brought back our card. He was in disbelief. They stopped looking for a bit and and my bf told him hey were not leaving until that card pops up. The man pulls out two more cards and says he has some from other customers that have left theirs behind. Told us we could come back and that he would look at the end of the night. We said no we're not going look for it. My boyfriend starts looking through their things to find it and finds a stack of cards. Him thinking they're business cards ended up being it was more customers cards. Idk what this place is into. Finally we said we were calling the police and then a cook comes from behind and says is it this one. My bf asked him were did you find it he said in the trash can. Never again are coming here and definitely never recommending this place. Beware."

"Food is tasty but not rich rich in flavor, the plates are all the same- uniform- no judgement either. The rainbow trout was good, with the garlic butter and some zucchini, glad I had the meal. Food was better than the establishment appeared, Theportions a good sized. Bottled beer is also available. The decor is stale."

"Almost lost hope I couldn't find a decent Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown anymore. Especially a go-to spot for pho. Even brought my mom, the infamous taste tester with me to try it nonetheless. Final verdict is, the pho sampling passed with flying colors for us both. How can you tell a pho dish is decent? It's all in the broth before adding any toppings. That means no hoisin sauce, sriracha, lime juice, mint, and bean sprouts. She was right because that was the first level of testing. We both each ordered a specific bowl of beef pho. For me it was the medium rare beef slices pho (the pho thit thai). This one is where the beef slices are still raw but cooks instantly when bathing in the hot broth. Rippable, thick, and savory cuts on a bed of soupy rice noodles. Slurped the whole broth down to the last drop. There's no denying the broth passed and it was in fact my favorite part. Any pho lover and addict knows the broth is the heart of this dish that dedicates 8 hours of infusing flavors to its full richness. Want to come back to try other dishes and to order that excellent drip Vietnamese iced coffee again, which was also perfect and good amounts of caffeine ratio. Leave it to the condensed milk in that iced coffee to bring a nice sweet tooth ending."

"We just had an amazing rehearsal dinner at Trackside and I could not have been more happy with how everything turned out. We received so many compliments on the beautiful space and amazing food. Working with Brett made everything a snap. He worked with us to curate the menu and was very transparent regarding pricing, which was so helpful. We didn’t even opt to decorate the space further for the dinner given how lovely it was already, especially with the roaring fire going. The food was delicious and I highly recommend Trackside for any event or just a great night out!"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"First off, I have to say, Customer Service was super amazing!! From Chloe, Angelina to Sheri!!! it took me by surprise because you don’t often find that great Customer Service everywhere you go. Thank you so much ladies now for the food, it was delicious! I had the shrimp and fish combo with onion rings. I also purchased a side of coleslaw and a side of greens. I then topped it off with a scoop of peachy, peach ice cream, yummy! All was just amazing. Will definitely be back for more as this was my first time. "One more excellent! Restaurant, which is not better than a C or a C. The place serves predominantly fried items, that is the case, how did the oil in the frit 't have been changed into what I guess is two weeks? If you think that French french frits should be dark brown and burned aromatized, then you were raised to release fat and this is your type of space. But it's not a good restaurant. Sad, my duck, pork chops, were dry and stiff and hard and penetrated and in a puddle of ultra-sweet maple-flavored pancake syrup. Not recommended. And the service... rushed. So much. The appetizers arrived so fast that they caught us from the guard. And all at once. And then the ducks were on the table. My fries didn't arrive until I finished. And even though we had set ourselves and ordered an entire hour before closing the doors, when we wanted the beignets desert, they wouldn't do them because the friars were gone. In summary, they hastened the food and closed before we made the order. What a mess."

"My father and I just chased in and let me just say that this food and service is incredible! Everyone was very hospitable, the menu was appealing, and the food was sooo filled and delicious! The hostess and waitress we had were both so alive and fast when we reacted. "First visit. We go in and immediately notice the relaxed, leisure atmosphere and are welcomed and sitting as soon as we in. After we set ourselves,Britain, our server welcomes us immediately and takes our appetizer. We ordered the fried pickles and they came out, thin cut, but were hot and crispy and served with a big jalapeño ranch sauce that wasn't too hot, but had only the right amount of kick. For our meal I ordered the J Dub Double Burger and my wife had the Burger Salad, which we were both curious to see. The food comes in a contemporary fashion and looked great. My burger was big enough that I had to cut it with the knife that they delivered, and when I entered it, I was not prepared for a burger that was as perfect as this one. I know other places are seasoning their burgers and it is rare to find one that is so well seasoned. We are all used to french french frits with our burgers, but the burgers here come with potato wedges..Not the big, but in my opinion, those at J. Wilson's are just the right size and are served with the Jalapeño Ranch sauce and ketchup. The Burgersalat of my wife was a sight to see... it looked so good, I wish I had got one. It had the above perfectly seasoned ground beef, pickles,lettuce and cheese and dressing as well as the potato wedges around the side... I tried and it was great. Points for the one who thought this salad: All in all, our first visit will not be our last... and if you never tried, J. Wilsons, make sure you pay them a visit!"
