"Pretty impressed with the brunch here! We called ahead to see if there was a wait, and we were informed there wasn 't. We were seated right away, but the hostess informed us they would need the table back by 12:15 since we didn 't have a reservation. I know this is understandable, but the way it came across was kind of odd. Either way, it was about 10:30 at that time and we ended up having plenty of time. The cocktail menu is really neat, all of the drinks have spunky names. I ordered the What About Them Apples?! and it was a solid fall influenced cocktail with a nice presentation. We ordered the waffle balls as an appetizer and this was a generous portion for the price. These are yummy fried balls of waffle goodness. Think waffle hush puppies. I enjoyed them most with butter and syrup. I think a fruit syrup or maybe a sriracha maple syrup option would be a great addition. I got the jalapeño brined fried chicken sandwich as my meal upon the server 's recommendation (I was between that and the chilaquiles) and I enjoyed it. It wasn 't the best chicken sandwich I 'd had but it was a big enough portion. I didn 't get any detection of jalapeño, and I kind of wish the cheese would 've been more melty. I loved the pickles and the chicken was cooked perfectly, still moist, although I would 've preferred a thicker, crunchier batter. The hashbrowns were like home fries, but they were really crispy and good. My friends shared the salmon Benedict and really liked it!The service was friendly and prompt and the prices were pretty reasonable. It was a quick experience, and there 's street parking relatively close by that was free in the weekends."
