"The service was quite poor, and the restaurant was nearly empty. It felt like our party of three was being attended to by multiple servers, but none seemed to communicate with each other. We requested water from one server, were checked on by another ten minutes later, and still had no water. This lack of communication happened multiple times during our meal. We also didn’t receive the sushi we ordered; instead, they brought us something different, and we decided to eat it anyway. Half of the sashimi appeared as if it had been previously frozen. I would advise anyone craving sushi to reconsider this place, even if it’s nearby, and perhaps choose another restaurant instead."

"People often have reservations about restaurants where the food is pre-made, but trust me, it's fresh! You can see the sushi chefs preparing everything, and the proof is in the taste. As someone from the East Coast, I can assure you that this is quality food. It might be a bit fancier and Americanized to cater to a wider range of tastes, but it's still very delicious. The pricing is based on the color of the plates, and the menu displays the prices clearly. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. I’m definitely a fan!"

"We were this past Saturday afternoon and we were dissapointed that they had runned out of a couple of items on their menu. So we ordered what was available. Seating was fast as the hostes basically to head to the back area and sit where ever we wanted. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the platano soup which was really good. We ordered the Cuban Special plate. This plate brought Tamal, Croqueta, Roast Pork, Picadillo, Fried Plantains or Maduros, White Rice, Black Beans, and Boiled Yuca! Although the waiter told me it was not a big plate honestly it is a lot of food. My friend ordered the Picadillo plate with Moros, and Fried Plantains. The food was tasty and there was plenty for the amount of money we paid which was around $30 without tip. All in all we will return."

"The bento boxes are massive! They could easily serve four people. I've been eating for an hour and a half and have only managed to finish one of the four compartments and a bit of my soup. The dumplings are tasty (I believe they were shrimp but had no fishy taste at all). The miso is perfectly balanced. My only complaints are that the sauces aren't labeled and there was just one shrimp tempura; the rest was all vegetable tempura. This could definitely satisfy four mildly hungry people!"

"The food was amazing. Don't look for pictures, I could not stop my mouth from eating the rolls long enough to take any. I got the chef special, which was absolutely wonderful, the Jalapeño business roll, and the Shrimply delicious roll. You can see the love and care that went into each roll, and you could taste the expertise and the brilliance in each one. Each roll had a unique flavor that I'm craving again already, just thinking about it is making me drool. I wish this company all the best in the world, because I will be going to them whenever I get a need for more sushi. Easily five stars, but I'd give them 300 if I could."

"Perhaps it was an off day, but the owner was giving the employees reviews/feedback, and despite an empty restaurant, everything was a long wait. The ebi nigiri had a small portion of rice underneath it that crumbled when picked up. It took five minutes to get a slice of lemon to sprinkle on the food. It took fifteen minutes to pay after I was done. And I really didn't need to hear staff issues. If someone is a no show on a Saturday because they slept at a friend's house for bible study, I don't need to hear it over lunch."

"We went out to celebrate a friend's birthday and initially our waiter had a bad attitude and was not very engaging. However, when he left for the night, we were taken care of by Robin. She was very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and we would recommend everything on the menu. We tried the croquettes, manza meatballs, meat and cheese board, baked eggplant, and the focaccia. We highly recommend them all. The drinks, especially the espresso martini that Robin makes, were also fantastic. This restaurant is a great spot for a date night or a girls' night out. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"You can charge your devices/phone here with a USB cord!! The seats in the dining sections have outlets and USB plug-ins next to them and this absolutely saved my life.The coffee and espressos are okay. I wanted to order dessert but cake was $8-9!! The Cubano sandwich was quite big and satisfying and I ordered the regular sized one. The grilled fish special that day was a little too dry but the side dishes are delicious as always. The waiters are pretty attentive and came frequently. I would say that cleanliness and overall environment could be improved — I sent back a plate with tomato sauce stains and found some unrecognizable dusty bits before I drank my water. Both of these were immediately and kindly addressed by the staff, though."

"Me and my SO went here for our anniversary just a few days ago. First thing we both noticed that it was a bit hard to spot the restaurant, but I want to chalk it up to the heat since it was too warm outside for our liking. Either way, Google Maps told us it was right around the corner and we just stumbled onto the place. What struck me was how homey it felt in a way. I'm not sure, but I want to say it's a Mom and Pop sushi restaurant and it's great. Prices are firm for what they offer and let me tell you, if you're not sure, get the Sashimi Sampler. We ended up getting a few other things but that sampler was enough to tell us what we're about to experience. Throughout SF, theres dozens upon dozens of sushi restaurant so it's difficult to stand out to others say, Amami-San where there Omakase stands out the rest for their number of pieces and price. Fuji, by all means is worth it. We ended up paying 80$ or so for our bill, but that was because we got Fatty Tuna and Blue Fin Tuna. Fatty Tuna is seasonal upon reading in their menu and I'm glad they had it. Worth the 18$ we paid bit it was melt in your mouth good. We took our time and both plates that you see in the picture sat in our stomachs before our rolls even came out. I regret to say that I didn't take a picture of our rolls because we were too excited but I can say we ordered the Double Albacore and the Hole in One I think, it's the one with Jalapenos, and it really has a kick to it. The wait for our rolls did take longer than usual though, but admittedly we went there around 6, which is dinner time for most people and it was a packed place, so I'll give them that one. They had two waiters working at the time we were there, but they worked their butts off. If you guys are reading this, you guys did a good job regardless of your online orders giving you guys a hard time with the other customers. Thanks guys for the fantastic experience and we're most likely going to come back again."

"Food was PHENOMENAL! There was not a single food item we didn’t like. Our whole party tried about half the menu put together, so that should tell you something! The drinks were wonderful my fiancé had 2 cocktails, I had a beer and 2 glasses of brut, and my parents split a bottle of Pinot Grigio! Service was just as amazing as everything else!
