"We've been regulars at this restaurant for quite some time, and the food is always delicious. We usually visit on Sundays after church. However, during one of our visits, I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one server. I ordered the last Chicken Pattie from a different server, and just as she was finishing up my order, the other server took the pattie and gave it to another customer. I explained to her that I had ordered it, but she was rude and claimed that I hadn’t.
Despite my server confirming that I had indeed ordered it, the nasty server continued to be disrespectful, not only to me but also to my original server. Meanwhile, the customer who received my pattie started to make a scene as well. The rude server didn’t even bother to apologize for her mistake; she just insisted that I had never ordered the chicken pattie. A simple admission of fault would have gone a long way, but she fit the stereotype all too well.
Since then, I've returned to the restaurant but make it a point to avoid her completely. I believe in giving neighborhood eateries a chance until they show they don't value my patronage. My original server did apologize for the incident, which is why I keep going back.
As for parking, it can get tricky. Everyone tends to double park, which risks getting blocked in. I've learned not to ask someone to let me out, as it often leads to pointless arguments. It reminds me a lot of Flatbush Ave."
