"I recently visited a restaurant that was formerly known as Palace of Asia, now called Urban Spice. Despite the name change, the food was incredibly delicious and the service was exceptional. The only downsides were the repetitive elevator music playing for 45 minutes and the bland dining area that resembled a newly renovated hotel restaurant. However, I did appreciate the large round tables that could accommodate 10 people. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning."

"I recently visited Palace of Asia, a wonderful Indian restaurant that I have been to many times before. My teenage children and I savored the chicken tikka masala and navratan korma, along with tasty naan, puri, and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious. We always end up eating too much here, but we still take home leftovers that we argue over for lunch the next day. My son typically sticks to the chicken from the American menu, but this time he tried the chicken kabobs and really liked them. It's a great place for both large and small groups."

"I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I usually order from them and consider myself a loyal customer. Recently, I ordered six wings with fries, but when I received my order, the wings were burnt and very hard. I called to report this and requested a refund, but it took nearly an hour for them to return my money. In another order this week, I placed a larger order and found the crab soup to be spoiled. Unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer."

"This was our first visit to NanKing and we plan to return! We were greeted promptly and seated right away. We were there for the vegan buffet and were not disappointed. A gentleman showed us the appetizer tables and explained how to assemble the little puffs I don’t remember what they are called, but they were delicious! We sampled nearly every item from the buffet and enjoyed seconds, and some thirds, of our favorites. The server was pleasant and attentive. A great dinner!! (Our only non positive comment is related to the uncomfortably chilly seat in a corner booth. Thankfully the food was warm."

"I've dined at the downtown location several times and have always enjoyed my meals there. However, I recently had dinner with a couple of friends at the Upper East Side location, and the quality of the dishes was inconsistent. Those who ordered chicken seemed quite pleased, while those of us who chose vegetarian options had a few minor issues. For example, the cauliflower in my dish was noticeably undercooked. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely consider returning if I'm in the area again."

"I received a menu in the mail and decided to give the restaurant a try. I assumed the food wouldn't be anything extraordinary, as places that offer a wide variety of dishes often don't impress. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pizza turned out to be. I'm definitely planning to try the Indian dishes soon, but the pizza was the best local pizza I've had in quite a while."

"Saffron Garden is one of the best preserved secrets in this area. Your new menu offers a long list of delicious appetizers and entrees served with integrity and good taste, and I always make sure to bring my guest friends and family here so that they can leave New York with a culinary experience they can never forget. In my experience, the cook was ready to accommodate the taste, preferences and limitations of the diet of its guests."

"I love going to Indian restaurants when they label the vegan items! This place does just that!!! Thank you!!! In the menu introduction there is devoted language to vegetarian food- yes! So, though not a veg place, if I want vegan Indian food in Bethesda I will come here. As for the people and the decor- lovely attentive people. The chef came to chat with me a couple times to see if I had questions or concerns and how the food tasted. Nice touch Chef Anil! All my vegan concerns were addressed, which is more than I can actually say for some other area vegetarian establishments that make me feel out of place! It's decor is new and fresh, not heavy or antiquated. While here, I felt that everything was made freshly. Nothing was cold or old in flavor. The mulligatawny soup was a piping hot delicious blended lentil soup that hit the spot to set the tone for the meal. Pakora are usually only mediocre at best, but these were like crispy deep fried battered spinach popcorn! Try it! The samosas had a hearty filling with more depth than most. The curries are good, but they always feel heavy- here though, they do not over salt like some other places. The one thing that didn't agree with my palate was the dosa. I liked that they are all vegan, but I think the one I picked maybe was not the right one, and, well, the dosa part was a bit bland. I also wish there was a vegan spinach entree on the menu, but I believe if I asked, the chef would've made it vegan!!! Overall, as an Indian restaurant with vegan options, it's a great choice. You can be confident that what you order will be vegan. Because it had meat, 4 cow max, but I can't say they're perfect- yet. As a new restaurant, with time, I may return and love the dosas and ask for spinach! Then maybe 4 cows will be met!"

"Really nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian foods. When you first walk in you get the feeling, that you entered a buffet style restaurant. But you soon realize it’s a full serve restaurant. There’s plenty of pictures showing the food, as well as a really good description of the entrees. Tandoori Chicken -marinated chicken cooked in a clay oven Chicken Tikka Masala -chicken cooked in delicious creamy sauce Chicken Tikka- good pieces of chicken and served with mint sauce. Goat Biryani- Traditional Indian dish made with seasoned long-grained rice layered with tender goat cooked in a thick gravy. I love, love, love this rice dish."

"LOVE this restaurant!!!. Great ambiance, great food, great service. Can you ask for more? I came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago, their naan bread is remarkable it has that fresh baked from the oven warmth and taste. All of their entrees sound enticing but I settled with the grilled lamb chops kabobs. I could not have been happier with my choice...so YUMMY...it's come with kale salad and I chose with baked seasoned sweet potato (the option is basmati rice, brown rice or baked seasoned sweet potato Dessert was the dark chocolate cake with molten warm chocolate center and top with pistachio ice cream, and it was a great ending to a great meal. I can't wait to come back to India...read more"

"florida can get damp, after 2 hours spent lazing on the beach tried my best to do a doggy ware swim against the waves, I realized that it was time for swimming. but all the paddling builds quite appetit and it was to my surprise I found a restaurant just a few minutes walk from the beach that had the name moksha' in it together with brassiere. really curious how transcendent would get their kitchen, I went and was greeted in a fine dinning atmosphere with decor and a feeling of modern ambiente that I was not used to in most Indian restaurants. shortly after my seat, I began to speak with the manager gilbert and realized that his Goan heritage meant that they had had a great spicy vindaloo. we have always talked about the well-written menu, and I noticed that all the dishes had a feeling of original creativity to them while it remained true for the authenticity of the region from which the court came. I spent the next 2 hours rehearsal and eat my way through the menu with friendly comment from gilbert about the rich history behind every dish and the regions in india it came. I have only highlighted favorite dishes and the lemon rice really hit the place as main course with the Kerala style red paprika prawn curry, followed by the Goan style prawn curry served with gluten-free naan. yes, this is the only Indian restaurant that I have anywhere where it has a whole gluten-free vegan menu that is shocking and incredibly smart. add this to an excellent customer service and incredibly fresh tasting great prawn and other dishes made to order, I realized that I have to come back to continue lauderdale to enjoy fine dining with Indian cuisine with dressed from all india. the pièce de résistance was the paan aromatized ice cream with a rose flavored sweet mix above. I could not try the Tandoor Octopus, but it will have to wait for my next trip here, and after its name, this restaurant will free them from the insane masses of curry houses that they find throughout the world a truly transcendent experience."

"In Solano, having a restaurant there means higher cost on the menu items because of rent, etc. Overall I would rather go to a all you can eat Indian buffet restaurant and have extra money in my pockets at the end of the meal. The food Chicken Tiki Marsala, Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan bread wasn't bad but for the price you pay there, the portion sizes were just too small. Ajanta has been in Solano for decades and will be there as a fixture in the neighborhood"

"When I called to voice my concerns, the staff member who took the order accused me of lying. I understand they might have customers who do that, but being called a liar was frustrating. I considered driving back for a full refund, but with my kids home from college, I didn't want to spoil our anniversary lunch. As for the food, it wasn't anything to write home about. The Butter Chicken was decent, but the Tikka Masala was dreadful—way too buttery, even more than the Butter Chicken! It felt unfair to be charged extra for such poor quality. I asked to speak with the manager, but no one reached out to me. I even sent an email, and still, no response. Overall, I had a terrible experience with both the food and customer service. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again."

"As far as Indian lunch buffets go, Five Rivers is the only restaurant that offers it in the Westlake area for $15 (M-F 11am-3pm. The buffet items were not labeled and I wasn't sure what I was eating. So, my tip is, only get a little of each in the first round, in case you don't like chickpeas or lamb. Service was abysmal. I asked for naan bread but never got it. Maybe they didn't want me to fill up on bread? Other people got naan though. So jealous. You refill your own water at the soda machine or fill up on the milk tea dispenser. As far as the food, it wasn't spicy as I thought it would be. The chicken masala, tandoori chicken, samosa were my favorites. The other stuff were OK. I checked-in on Yelp but didn't get a coupon. The cashier gave me 10% off for trying."

"Review is not about food but service. It is a post to make people aware of what to expect incase they place order through an app in the restaurant I have been a loyal customer to the place i think for close to 9 years My favorite dish pizza best in the area) I decided to do a take out order through an app. When going to pick the food i changed my mind and wanted to sit and eat as the restaurant was empty and looked calm. But to my surprise i came to know that i cannot order food through an app and decide to eat at the restaurant. I am allowed to order food on the phone as take out and decide to sit am, but not through the app. The reason for such a decision by the restaurant/ business is because they dont make enough money through the app so the customer cannot sit and eat if food ordered through the app At the end of the day i totally agree it is upto the business to decide on their services to customers. I was just disappointed and wanted to share my experience so that fellow customers know what to expect. I wish i knew this before placing the order so that i could have placed order on the phone and would have eaten peacefully at the restaurant or i wish the restaurant was not listed on the app so that the only way was for me to call the restaurant and place order. I love the place for the pizza so i will continue to be a customer but will be cautious and plan better as i know what to expect if i order through the app"
