"I recently visited the Cracker Barrel in Burleson, Texas and was extremely disappointed with both the food and service. I felt like I was discriminated against based on my race. The quality of the food was poor and I even heard a waitress refuse to take our orders, which the hostess thought was amusing and called her "bad". This was a new and troubling experience for me, as I have dined at Cracker Barrel locations in various cities without encountering such behavior. Additionally, when I went to browse the products, the cashier and the same waitress repeatedly watched me as if I were going to steal something. If someone has personal issues with people of color, they should not be working in a customer-facing role. It is unacceptable for multiple individuals at the same location to exhibit this type of behavior. I will give this location another chance to see if any improvements have been made, but if not, I will escalate my concerns further. It is important for us to address these issues collectively and not just within our own communities. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully address these problems."

"The store always surprises me an visitors on how beautiful is organized, lighted up and decorated the room was. A warm welcome to the store was nice to hear and we were asked if we need assistance with anything. The Cashier was in place behind the register but unfortunately no one was able to help while we were standing up waiting to be seated. We proceeded to find our own table and surprised to noticed the lack of people at 8:30 am on a Thursday morning (after my long night flight) no one showing up with menus and to take our order. We waited for a few minutes and called the waitress. She came back with the menu and we ordered a coffee and orange juice. The juice had a strange aftertaste twist and the coffee was weak and lack of flavor. While we were talking about our findings we noticed that our favorite omelettes were removed from the menu presenting now less dishes and price change too. We asked the waitress what happened to the delicious omelettes but kindly responded: sorry, this is what we currently have at the moment. We were disappointed and decided to leave the restaurant. I hope that in general this economy will improve and will have back our old Cracker Barrel with great cooks hostess and servers like it used to be."

"GETTING SAT: Came for a noon time lunch. Joined the waitlist online that said about 40mins. Checked in… an hour later we asked about our table and the less than professional hostess assured us they texted our number and called us over the intercom “thirty minutes ago”. This was false. A more professional and probably senior hostess interrupted and stated we’d have the next available table. SERVICE: Our waitress was professional, kind, but also incredibly overwhelmed. Talking to her was stressful because she gave a “hurry up I have more to do” vibe. Despite being overwhelmed and overloaded, service was great. She checked in regularly and was courteous. FOOD: I haven’t been this disappointed in quite sometime. I understand we’re in a pandemic and restaurants are hurting, but there are still standards and minimal expectations. seating: the area we sat had a filthy window seal covered in old food, dust, and discarded plastic wrapping. meal: the okra was stale, the fries tasted as if the grease hadn’t been changed in a timely manner, the chicken was dry, the dipping sauces were about as thick as oatmeal and offered poor tasting flavors (ranch, bbq, honey mustard). Overall- I’d highly recommend you go just about anywhere else. The bad food and dirty seating areas are not worth the good service."

"this was a stop for us on Saturday morning for brunch at 11:00 o'clock. I've got the breakfast, my nabbon has lunch. the food was served quickly. I ordered ham with my iron and potato caserole. it also had 2 cookies with heavy force. the ham was much too salty, even eating. I'm not sure why or how? the gravur had no season. it was spicy, but it tasted like flour and water. no taste at all. my man had a hamburger and enjoyed it. it was hot and cooked as ordered. I had a chic coffee- not even sure what it was, but delicious- I highly recommend. with warm coffee when it got cool. I appreciated it. it was super sweet and that helped to mix it a bit. our server was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. menu is very large with many options for everyone. I visited the load after we had eaten. I found some sweet stuff stuff for the kids for christmas. what an unexpected bonus. they have a cute Christmas mailbox for children to leave the big kerl message. our children are older, but it would have enjoyed when they were certainly younger. has a real family feeling inside"

"The hostess was busy having a personal conversation and we stood listening, waiting to be acknowledged for several minutes. (That made me upset I was a hostess for years and know you do not ignore the customer. then as she finally asked how many she showed her displeasure with us interrupting her job she lead us to table. She did not smile, say hello, sorry for the wait-nothing. Our waitress wasn 't very pleasurable at first either. It was like we were not cared about at all. But I will say as we were nice to her she smiled, came back several times to check etc. As we were leaving we were pleased to see a nice smile on her sweet face. Food was excellent. Hot, plenty and tasty. Silverware dirty... I will say that the past two months I have come to this restaurant it has not been up to my expectations of Cracker Barrel. I truly think the staff needs a redo of manners, how to interact with the public and remember that we the public coming into this establishment expect a pleasant experience with their meal. We pay a nice price plus tips for a nice meal. If I want not to enjoy dining out I would go get fast food at a drive thru. I do not except the excuse of 'covid ' causing problems yesterday. There were many on staff to serve and I saw other tables getting great service from an older waitress. I may give this cracker barrel one more chance. But if the attitudes of yesterday and last month and the month before show its ugly side I will quit going here and recommend to my friends not to go. That 's how disappointed I am. "quickly missed and server was a precious stone. Eier and spek were just as I liked it. I prefer traditional hathbread, so that the insole was just ok to me. blue berries pancakes are one of my favorites. I think I expected something else. less blueberries and more teig would have been nice. I also prefer to try them with regular sirup, but recommend to both. our server mixed two flavored tees and it was amazing. She never had it, but she did it for me. it was so busy that the waiting period was longer than usual and some was not what I expected. a good meal with a large customer service."

"We made a promise to ourselves to stop by a Cracker Barrel during our trip, and this location, one of the farthest north on our route, turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was a bit quieter than we anticipated for lunchtime, but that didn’t detract from our experience at all. The restaurant was excellent! The staff were incredibly helpful, and the store was clean and stocked with all the quality products you would expect. Our food was perfectly prepared and met all our expectations. The manager on duty was very active, engaging with her staff, checking on tables, collecting high chairs, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. "we came around 6:15 with our 5 and 8 years old and had chosen cracker barrel, so if they were a waiting time, we could load the one. they immediately sat us, which was a beautiful surprise. but then no one came to take our drink or food order. we have done all activities in the children's menu. the manager seemed to be standing at the fireplace and watching everything. she never once moved to check customers. She even made eye contact with me and my man, but never left the fire. the restaurant was busy so we wanted to be patient. after 20 minutes, a server called luis stopped and asked if we had helped. we said no to him and he said that was not his territory, but he would take care of us. when luis was our server, everything was fantastic. he was great with the children and attentive. eating was good, but not fabulous. it can be before we eat again."

"We went for breakfast at this Cracker Barrel and ordered a breakfast sampler. I asked the waiter to substitute French toast for the pancakes as I have done every time we visit which is around 2x per week. I requested just 1 peace of French toast as that is all I would eat. The waiter immediately said no we can not substitute anything any more you will have to have it like it is on the menu. I even said I would pay for the difference and the answer from the waiter is no we will not substitute anything anymore, that is our policy and they will not bend the rules. So Cracker Barrel basically is saying if you want to eat here you have to eat exactly what is on their menu or don't come to their restaurant. We will not be back to Cracker Barrel due to their strict NO SUBSTITUTIONS RULE. Bob Evans and all other restaurants will allow you to order what you want and if it is an up charge from what they have they will accommodate your request.BY THE WAY, I text my experience to Cracker Barrel customer complaint department and have not received any correspondence. It is now very apparent that they mean what they say.Good luck with your new policy we will see how well your new campaign goes over. Have it our way or don't bother eating here"

"It remains consistent after many years across the United States. The music selection creates a lovely atmosphere. This location features a section for clothing, candies, and various goods in addition to the restaurant. I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet, but the breakfast items, especially the pancakes, are quite satisfying. I can honestly say that you get your money's worth with great customer service, delicious meals, and a pleasant ambiance.
