"Be careful when you pay for your food. They charged us 27.99 for a dish that was supposed to be 17.99. The combination fried rice was alright. The spicy schezuan beef had no spice at all and when I reached for the chili paste and the jar it was in had old dried up dark paste around in inside like it hadn't been cleaned out. The scallops were rubbery and had no flavor. We tried a few other dishes but all in all everything we got was overpriced for very low quality of the food. Employees seemed kinda nice but also made us feel very rushed . When we walked in, there was only 1 other group of people (it was around dinner time/ about 5pm) so we were shocked there wasn't really anyone eating there. The only nice part of the restaurant was the interior, the decor was really nice to look at. Just wish they put better effort into their food and employees cared about making their guests feel comfortable."

"From the moment we arrived, things didn't start off well. The decor was noticeably dirty, which usually wouldn't bother me too much, as I've found that some unkempt Chinese restaurants can still serve amazing food. However, that wasn't the case here. The food was subpar at best, and they got our order wrong. We specifically asked for ribs in a certain style, but what we received was nothing like what we ordered. When we pointed this out, they insisted we had requested a different dish. The BBQ Pork Ding was especially bad— I would give it zero stars— as the meat was tough and inedible. To make matters worse, the portions for each dish were quite small. The only bright spot was the mayonnaise shrimp, which usually isn't easy to get right, but they managed it this time. In summary, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant if you're looking for good Chinese food. It's definitely not worth the visit. Unfortunately, we ended up tipping a bit more than we intended because we didn't want to seem rude, especially since our mom is too nice not to leave a good tip."

"We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. You may need to park in the garage across the street, which was free as of 11/15/2020. Enjoy!"

"We started with chicken satay. Tasty although accompany sauce was not the expected/normal peanut sauce. Had asparagus salmon, honey prawns, lemon chicken, garlic noodles, white rice. All good, but noodles could have been more garlicky. Quiet Sunday late lunch/early dinner. We'll be back."

"We’ve been visiting this restaurant since our children were born, and now they’re 15 and 12. In my opinion, they have the best mì triều châu around. The crispy Chinese donuts are the perfect accompaniment to the noodle soup. This is the only place where I can get extra crispy pork fat to enhance the flavor of my soup. Other Chinese dishes on the menu are also quite delicious and authentic, all at very reasonable prices. The service is attentive and responsive, which I really appreciate. Despite living quite far away, we always choose to come here when we crave Chinese food. The chicken and broccoli are tender and cooked to perfection, and my son orders the combination chow mein every time. The XO beef is fantastic as well. This place is always busy, no matter the weather, and we absolutely love it here."

"Order Uber eats, payed 64 for this. I was disappointed with the size of the hand rolls who cost about 7 each. This is ridiculous pricy for the size. My whole order was noting that I expected. Price are super high for the amount they provide"

"This review is for Feast Buffet at the backside of Meiji's. We did walk into Meiji's to see an atmosphere close to that of the samurai steak house, in way North OKC (the hibachi style, where they cook at your table). However, the street view of the signscan be misleading. Luckily the Meiji host directed us outside and around the corner. Feast isn't quite like Vegas style buffet, more of a quite, darker version of Golden corral. We enjoyed the gelato (raspberry was scrumptious). I enjoyed the fried greenbeans and a style of potato they serve, not sure which one. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the bok-choy, my husband the wings. Also, they serve out of smaller pans, it's not really chintzy, it's brilliant to get hotter, fresher good, since they refill themoften. My senior mother-in-law, enjoyed the hot rolls, extremely, maybe it was that pinch of sugar on the topside?"

"3 Stars. We got there at 5 pm. We had a party of 6 and I told them we’d sit outside. They asked if I was sure, because it was humid outside. I walked outside and there was a breeze and it was beautiful out there. I come back in and told them yes to the porch area. They couldn’t give me a time and at 40 minutes I went and asked again, reminding them we’d sit outside and 10 of the 12 tables outside were empty. An hour and 15 minutes later, we were seated inside. The meal was okay, but nothing to wait 75 minutes for. Was really disappointed as it was our first time (and probably last) there."

"I eat at Speckled Ts all the time, the food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. On this particular night, Groovy 7 was live on stage. .. with bands like that on stage this place is a 10! Great food, great atmosphere, amazing band... appetizer. ... NACHOS ARE A MUST HAVE! Only small complaint is the service slows down tremendously on live music nights. Had the band not been a perfect 10, we would have left early. Overall, i still give it a 9 out of 10. Waitress did her best, and with that kind of crowd and chaos I can overlook the slow service, others may not."

"My husband and I dined here shortly after arriving, and we were fortunate to arrive during happy hour. The prices for both food and drinks were incredibly low, making it a great deal. We even got to try sake served in masu, which was a first for me! The yuzu chicken was outstanding, as were the kimchi octopus and the karaage. However, I must highlight the service, which truly deserves high praise! Our food and drinks arrived incredibly quickly, our water glasses were refilled several times, and we never had to wait long to place another order."

"It's a shame this place has gone downhill. Used to be a fairly reliable restaurant. About par with the union hotel. Unfortunately it hasn't handled the pandemic well and seems to be struggling. Foods gone steadily downhill and so has some of the staffing. They seem like they're struggling every time we go there. Probably won't be going again. Maybe try it again in another year or two. Hope they pay that poor waitress that seems to be the only one who gives a darn well. Girl was jogging all over the place helping where she could. Felt bad for her. Clearly some drama going on there though amongst the staff since most of the other employees didn't seem to care in the slightest."

"This is a run-down restaurant in a poor area of the city, and its exterior, parking lot, decrepit fence, and inside decor all reflect that."

"I have to say, if you're used to traditional Italian pizza, this place may surprise you. The crust is thick and airy, more like focaccia bread than your usual thin-crust pizza. However, if you're looking for a taste of American-style pizza, this is the spot for you. The portions are generous, the toppings are plentiful, and the service is quick. Personally, I loved the seafood pizza. Everything tastes fresh and satisfying. This is definitely a top choice for pizza on Long Island. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to the States!"

"Husband has been coming here each year during gun hunting season for years. Always raves about the bluegill friday fish fry. They no longer serve bluegill. So he ordered butterfly shrimp... was not butterfly shrimp. Other family members ordered taco salad and perch fish fry. Taco meat was dry and mealy as if it was sitting around all day. Perch was meh . I ordered BROILED HADDOCK Described in the menu as: Two haddock loins broiled and smothered in our own special garlic butter sauce. This was not bRoiled.... it was more like boiled. White as a ghost fish with no sauce whatsoever. Molly was our waitress and very nice and corrected the baked potato when french fries were ordered promptly!"

"This restaurant was just"meh I ordered the most popular dinner the Dilsot Bibimbop and it was fine. I have had better at other restaurants. I added in shrimp and a few of them tasted kind of fishy so...hmmm? Our waitress was very sweet and nice but it took forever for our drinks to come (including water) and the restuarant was not full. There were of us and my two friends had to request clean glasses because both water and wine glasses had lipstick all over them. The server was embarassed and replaced them but again it took a long time to get even the water back. She did take a few dollars off the bill but sorry I just won't be back. Not a great first impression."

"I had a delicious breakfast in a charming atmosphere. While the prices were slightly higher than I anticipated, it's understandable given the location in Los Gatos and the associated rental costs. However, the portion sizes were quite generous! We both had enough leftovers for lunch later that day. The service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back!"

"Dining at Tadich Grill, the oldest continuously operating restaurant in San Francisco, is like stepping back in time. The food is fresh and simply prepared, with ample portions that will satisfy the hungriest of diners. The clam chowder was warm and sumptuous, with a prominent green pepper flavor that distinguished it from the chowder I’m used to eating on the east coast. The fries were crispy and flavorful, and the oysters Rockefeller were massive, with more greens and bubbling cheese than oyster. The pan fried sole was tender and flavorful, and the mixed seafood salad was loaded with shrimp, prawns, and crab. Overall our meal was delicious, and the service was attentive and prompt. If you are a fan of old-school restaurants with history and classic American seafood dishes, look no further than Tadich Grill."
