"Great hot, fresh food with fast service. I went back today for lunch. Although they were busy, my order was taken quickly. I had the Double Meat Meal Cheeseburger and small fries, which were hot and freshly cooked. It was very good, and I’ll be returning soon—you should give it a try. Today, I also ordered a small Oreo Sonic Blast. It was delicious, though a bit pricey for the size. I visited again for a Sonic Cheeseburger Combo. It was very busy, and I had to wait about 20 minutes, but the food was hot and fresh when I received it. I’ll definitely come back, just not during lunch hours because it gets too crowded."

"So ein wunderschönes kleines feines Restaurant ist einfach genau das was in Holzminden gefehlt hat. Tolle leichte Küche, wunderbares aus dem Meer und ein toller Besitzer der genau das tut was er liebt und das schmeckt man einfach auf jedem Teller .. wir gehen hier mindestens 1 x die Woche essen uns es ist jedes Mal wieder ein Highlight selbst wenn’s die Mittagspause ist.. unsere Kinder wurde vom ersten Tag an immer herzlichst Willkommen geheißen auch wenn sie manchmal quirlig sind .. mehr als 5 Sterne kann man zwar nicht vergeben aber diese sind auch absolut verdient !! Selbst der Wandel in Corona Zeiten mit außer Haus Geschäft hat er super hinbekommen .. Danke das es dich gibt!"

"When I noticed he only gave me one receipt, I checked the menu and saw that an extra patty costs $1.50. It felt odd that he didn’t provide a second receipt, so I checked my banking app. To my surprise, I found a charge of $4.50 on top of the initial $11. That seemed wrong. I went back and asked for a receipt, and the cashier now looked visibly nervous. He handed it over, and when I inquired about the $4.50 charge, he became defensive, insisting that was the only way to handle it and that he hadn’t done anything wrong. I was taken aback. I asked him what the menu price was, and he reluctantly admitted it was $1.50 but claimed that the computer just charged $4.50. I honestly couldn't believe it. I told him he should have mentioned the overcharge. At this point, he seemed ashamed, but he never apologized or acknowledged that he had done anything wrong. The other staff members—three of them—watched quietly and seemed to try to ignore the situation. They looked unfazed and didn’t attempt to resolve anything. It felt like one of those scenarios where they thought, "Well, he got caught; that’s unfortunate." In the end, I told him he was deliberately scamming customers, asked for a refund, and left my order behind. I definitely won’t be returning. It seems like there are tough times at Josh's Hotdogs, so be sure to check your receipts to avoid being overcharged. Good luck!"

"Best hot dogs in the area and I've tried most of the hot dog stands in the area, surprised me a place down the street with terrible dogs got invited to the hot dog hall of fame or something like that. Love the little yellow building, right by the best bowling alley in the area as well. I always get the 2 hot dog meal but have been wanting to try the gyros and burgers as well. Staff is always friendly, great place."

"Most the time I have a good experience here. Lately, not so much. My orders have been messed up. Today I ordered the grilled cheeseburger, no mustard add garlic butter. When I got it there was mustard and no garlic butter. The nice lady said she'd have them remake it. I wish I could share the picture I took. When I say my sandwich was sitting in a pool of garlic butter, the wrapper had a puddle of it in it. I didn't mess up the order. But when correcting it, they didn't need to go overboard. "Normally don't have many problems with my local Sonic except for the app which needs serious work. Today we pulled up to order. The speaker at the stall was pretty much shot. I couldn't hear much the person was saying. The screen wouldn't move from the activated we will be with you shortly setting, so we were not able to pay at the stall. My wife had to walk up to the window to make sure the order was received correctly. It wasn't Once we got home we found there was no marinara sauce for our mozzarella sticks. Poor experience for sure, but it happens. Not bad enough to keep me from going back, but I hope they get the speaker and screen fixed soon. We did let them know what was wrong"

"When I tell you how fresh the bread for the beef was you wouldn't believe it. It literally tasted like they just baked the bread and sliced it special for me. The fries I ordered extra crispy, they didn't let me down they were beautifully crispy. The people were a joy to talk to and it stayed busy while we ate. You have to try this place!!! Update: I had the Cream of Chicken and rice for dinner. Oh My Gosh!!! This is my new favorite place, the soup of soooo good! I only wish I had a piece of Italian bread to go with it. "Came here from the beach 30 min before closing (got lost Still busy! The customers that night were, like me, tourists on their way out of the area. The food is good quality for a place specializing in snowballs ice cream. Offers Morningstar patties for vegetarian sandwiches and a vegetarian veggie hotdog. Vegans can order the vegan chicken sandwich (not explicitly listed on the menu) seasoned fries, and choose from a wide array of snowball flavors. The vegan chicken sandwich was a bit dry for my liking; the patty seemed a little tough, and it was served on po'boy (French) bread, without sauce. Comes with lettuce tomato, but there's a toppings bar with typical sandwich veggies/condiments. Fries were okay. Not a huge fan of sweet tea, but it was pretty good here. What REALLY stood out was the staff's friendliness/helpfulness. My server went out of her way to recommend me to Lotus Cafè (up the street, but closed on Sundays), and one employee greeted us all and wished us well on our way out as the closed. The only drawback is that this place is veryyy hard to find if you don't know the area. Used my maps feature and got brought into a neighborhood near a Chevron. Heads up: it's in a strip mall next to the Chevron. All in all a good place for inexpensive southern-style veg options and awesome service."

"I’m not sure if my name will appear, but I’ve been a regular customer at the Sonic in Forest for the past three weeks, and I’m quite disappointed with my recent experiences. My orders have consistently been incorrect; the cheese sticks are hard with unmelted cheese, the tater tots are also hard, and my sandwiches are not prepared as I requested. Moreover, the food is often not warm. I’m not sure what’s causing these issues, but I’ve been wanting to share this review. Unfortunately, I will no longer be dining at the Sonic in Forest. I was a loyal customer, visiting two to three times a week with my family, but we will be taking a break from this location until improvements are made. The service has been poor, and it’s truly disappointing."

"This was not the first time I have pulled up to the Selma Sonic and press the call button and wait 15 minutes, the call gets cleared so I press the button a second time wait 15 minutes then just leave because other people were getting answered and served. I watched two people leave because their call was not answered and another two continually press the call button. To make matters worse some of the stalls have out of order signs on them and some that don’t have a sign won’t process a payment with a debit or credit card. Very dissatisfied customer numerous times!"
