"This place is cute for the location, and I like that feeling. It doesn't feel pretentious, and that wouldn't match here anyhow! The service is real and personable. The decor is laid back, as is the ambiance. When you walk in, you're greeted and can see some of the daily baked offerings. This place is pretty veg friendly considering where it's located it's not super Metro friendly or in a high traffic area. They have fries, veggie sides, a hummus sandwich, a tofu sandwich, some salads and a vegan gyro. All these choices can be vegan, and they are pretty filing. However, if you are hoping to feel like you had a health meal after a sandwich here, think again. Lots of flavor and oil, but if you know what to expect, you won't be disappointed. If you are ordering fries, what do you expect? If you order sautéed veggies, what do you expect (i.e. not steamed . The fries are freshly made, but, they aren't as crispy as I'd like. The gyro was loaded with fake meat (seitan style , eggplant, golden brown onions, and vegan mayo, along with fresh spinach (better than lettuce! , cucumbers and tomatoes. I appreciated the fresh veggies in contrast with the rich seitan and mayo. The bread was fab, though it was white flour. Because it's not a veg*n restaurant, it can't get 4 out of 5, since it's starting at 4. So, for what it's doing, I like it, and I appreciate this business! The prices are moderate for a local business. Be happy you are supporting a local business!! They are good people!"

"For cocktails, we tried the Grow a Pear, which featured maple bourbon, spiced pear, honey, lemon, and ginger soda. This was my mom’s favorite since she loves bourbon—definitely a 9/10! I also enjoyed the margarita, which I would rate 9/10, and the espresso martini, also a 9/10. All of the drinks were affordable and very enjoyable! If you’re just stopping by for a show and a drink, it's absolutely worth it. For appetizers, we ordered the house-made meatballs served with whipped ricotta. We got two large meatballs to share and I think the sauce and ricotta really completed the dish—a solid 7/10. We also tried the autumn salad, which contained roasted squash, pomegranate seeds, and a house vinaigrette. However, we found it a bit overdressed, although it still had good flavor—I'd give it a 5/10. Finally, we sampled the clam chowder. Even as someone who isn't a big fan of clam chowder, I found this one flavorful—an 8/10! For our main courses, we opted for the sausage and broccoli rabe pasta. The portions here are generous, and the dish was very filling, with the sausage cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it but thought it might have been a tad too salty, so I would rate it 7/10. Our other entrée was the lobster ravioli, which were homemade and stuffed with sizeable chunks of lobster. This dish was definitely worth the $31 and was the highlight of the evening—9/10! Next time I visit, I would be happy to enjoy a show, grab another drink, and possibly try their chicken parmesan, which also looked delicious! Overall ratings: Food: 8/10 Affordability: 6/10 Ambiance: 9/10"
