"Hands down the best sushi in the area! I actually travel a lot for work and this is the best sushi I’ve come across in all my travels. The avalanche roll is a MUST try, don’t cheat yourself and not get at least one. The crabby jalapeños are also to die for and they have great options for those who don’t love sushi...tho the avalanche roll may change their mind on sushi."

"Our waitress was very attentive and assisted us well with our orders. I tried the Boston Shrimp Roll and the Godzilla Roll, while my dining partner opted for the Udon soup. For an appetizer, we ordered the Gonzyo pork rolls. The food was excellent, and the sauce on the Godzilla Roll was amazing! We'll definitely be coming back and have already recommended this place to others. It takes us about 45 minutes to get here, but it's worth the trip!"

"WORST restaurant experience of my life. The restaurant wasn't even half full when we arrived yet we got excuses nonstop- the bar was backed up, the sushi chef REFUSED to make our order with soy wrap, 2 entrees were delivered 25 min. after the rest, and perhaps the craziest was that we never received our white rice even after asking at least 3 times. It literally sits in a big pressure cooker near the service station. Our server offered for the manager to come over, she showed up 30 minutes later, pretending not to know about any of the issues we had experienced. I don't know what kind of drama is going on behind the scenes but keep it to yourselves. Or don't; it doesn't matter to us because we will NEVER be back!"

"I went to this restaurant with my wife and daughter, who was home from college. It had just opened and we were eager to give it a try. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of options including raw fish sushi and cooked sushi for American tastes. There were also plenty of steak and chicken dishes to choose from. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the new, attractive decor. We definitely plan on returning in the future."

"We had a family dinner here before going to o at Bellagio. Our server started by asking if we had tickets to any shows and when we told her she carefully timed the dinner so we weren’t rushed but finished in time to get to the show. The food is awesome especially the rock appetizer. Highly recommend the experience and the food."

"My wife and I visited The Village Grille for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one day. We stayed a few blocks away in the summer and it quickly became our favorite place to eat in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (and possibly all of Ft. Lauderdale). The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Sometimes they have live music, and occasionally they close the road for live music on the streets. If you are in the West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale, or Miami area, I highly recommend taking a trip to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Find a parking spot, explore the gift shops, walk the streets, visit the pier, go fishing, snorkeling, or scuba diving off the shore for a full day of Florida sun and fun. The Village Grille also has a bar called the Village Pump - try to snag a seat at the bar, you won't regret it. Thank me later!"

The specials are usually very appealing. Their bar is huge. This restaurant has lots of room and is usually very busy on Friday nights which is great to see! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The new parking in old town Arvada sucks."

"When we arrived for our reservation the hostess circled the restaurant looking for a table for us. It seems that they were so busy that our reserved table didn’t actually exist yet. No complaints here though. We were seated at the bar and talked to Joshua all night. He is fantastic! Great sake recommendations and dynamite sushi selected by him! We loved the experience so much we never needed a table. Five stars. Lots of respect. Keep doing what you’re doing!"

"I enjoyed the ambience of this location more than the one on eagle road but unfortunately the food just wasn't as good. we had the tempura avocado with lobster/crab to start and the lobster tater tots. both were $12 and both were so good as usual. I love them regularly at the other location and this one lived up to that. I got the baja salad as my entree with the 24 hour nashville chicken and it's my favorite thing on the menu but this was a sad example of it. it was so dry and tough and salty and there was this long crisp under the chicken that was like just the seasoning that broke off into a giant piece?? it was so weird. i'm not the type to send things back, so I ate it because I was hungry. disappointing though because it's usually a good salad! my hubby got a spicy roll which was ok. too much cream cheese. for $15, there was very little fish. I wish I had gotten photos but we were on date night and I didn't have my phone out much. 2 appetizers, a salad, 1 sushi roll, and 2 beers and it was $85 with tip. kind of disappointing but we are just glad to get out so it is what it is. the server was nice but didn't see her much. she took our order and then everyone else helped us until she was back with the check. i'll just make sure we only go to the meridian location from now on!"

"With a reservation, we had immediate seating at eight. Both the cocktails and food were a five out of five. The disparity is between the bar service itself, and the kitchen as well. Ordering a cocktail straight off of us arriving came half way through our appetizer that was ordered later. A second cocktail that was ordered when the entrees arrived came about three quarters through the meal. The coordination between the kitchen and the bar is horrid, and perhaps the dining cocktails do not receive adequate attention. We are talking about up to fifteen minutes or more waiting. Although this is my first Open Table comment, this paradigm is not uncommon for this establishment."
