"We had a 1 PM reservation for 4 people on Wed, 8/28/24. I was the 1st person to arrive at 1 PM. We looked at menus and I asked if they had any lunch specials. The waitress said No. We ordered half salads with chicken breast added. I requested bread for the table. The waitress was clearly no happy that we did not order wine. We had to ask for water refills 3 times while we were there. Lunch was delivered to our table 2 half salads with 1/2 chicken breast each. 2 salads were delivered without chicken. We requested she bring the missing chicken and bread. After about 7 minutes I went looking for the waitress. She was no where to be found. I spoke to a man in the kitchen about the missing chicken and bread. He told me he didn’t know anything about it but would get some bread ready. After about 12 minutes the waitress brought the chicken and 3 pieces of bread. There were 4 of us there for lunch. Unbelievable! When she delivered our bills we found a card inside the reads: LUNCH WINE SPECIAL: MONDAY FRIDAY 11 AM 2 PM I asked about lunch specials and she told us there were not any. Unbelievable! Lunch was a huge disappointment. I recommended Wine Dive as a good place to dine for our luncheon and I was totally embarrassed. UGH! I will NEVER recommend Wine Dive again."

"As we were reminded at the end of our meal, this was our 16th time to dine at Atchafalaya. So the bar has been set very high over the years. Our 16th had to rank up with all of our best! Heather Dawn's (HD) service was perfect. Never intrusive, great suggestions, terrific banter- totally spot on! Our choices for apps and dinner were excellent, it's amazing that the quality has never declined at all. The support staff was always there right on time to do whatever was appropriate. The other thing that amazes me is that whenever we dine, the staff always recognizes that we are returning customers. I've NEVER experienced this at any of our finer dining spots. Only at our local hangouts. All in all, another fantastic evening at Atchafalaya! Thanks so much!!!!!!!"

"The artichoke appetizer was delicious but our entrees were not as good as they usually are. One of us had the cornerstone scramble and the other the potato Benny. One had a **** Mary and the other an aperol spritz. The **** Mary wasn’t as good either and it was the first time getting the aperol spritz here which we won’t order again. We almost always get the same thing. Maybe the appetizer was so good that that what followed couldn’t live up? I’m not sure but we will go back and try something else."

"My absolute favorite appetizer is the spinach and artichoke dip. What really makes it special is the warm spiced pita bread that comes with it. It sets it apart from everywhere else. I was so disappointed when I ordered this today and found that it’s now served with a handful of tortilla chips. The dip is still tasty but now pretty standard. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order it again. The desserts were, as always, top notch. The staff there were all very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman who I believe is the manager is especially personable. That being said, the wait staff wasn’t very attentive. What was supposed to be a quick stop in to indulge in a quick, really good early dinner ended up being a two hour meal. Everything took a really long time and our drink glasses remained empty. At one point we were sitting for so long that I forgot we hadn’t even ordered dessert yet when our waiter came to see if we were interested in ordering. I’m so disappointed. I really hyped this place up to my homebody mother who I was so excited to bring here and it really was a bust. While tasty food and friendly faces are lovely, the inattentiveness took away so much of the experience for us. We were one of two tables in the main dining room, but maybe they had a lot of business at the bar or outside. Either way, I can’t figure out what caused today’s experience but I probably won’t be back for a while."

"Chose the Hotel and the restaurant due to the location and the roof top views. We were driving from Milwaukee and encountered heavy traffic. I called the restaurant twice to let them know, but all I could do is leave a message. When we got to the rooftop it was so hot and way to crowded to be enjoyable that we opted to go down one floor to the main restaurant and eat there without the views. Brunch menu was somewhat limited and as it turned out extremely overpriced for what it was. Drinks $16, small portion of lamb hash with 2 thin slices of lamb on top and a few potatoes on the bottom of the huge bowl weren’t enough to satisfy the appetite, although it did taste very good. The mushroom omelet was really average. So, if its too hot or too busy to enjoy the view, you really have no reason to dine there, with so many options available in Chicago."

"we have booked a reservation for the dach. it was confusing to drive up the elevators, but we finally found out. the place is beautiful and everyone was really nice. that was delicious. I would have given it 5 stars, except they sat our table directly against a buckling flower bush that swarm with puppies. my daughter is allergic and even if I'm not allergic, it wasn't convenient to weep 6-7 constantly to dodge. we could not have enjoyed our meal. fortunate they found a table for us inside, but it would have been nice to have our meal where we reserved."

"We were seated promptly. The food was excellent. The service was terribly slow. Our appetizers and cocktails came fairly promptly. Our entrees took minutes. We ordered wine when the entrees came. That came an hour later after repeated requests. The waitress was apologetic the restaurant was busy and did not have enough waitstaff, bartenders or chefs. I will go again"

"Always liked this restaurant until tonight. Hope it was either a different chef or just an off night. The wine I always drink did not taste right, but they replaces. The special soup was gazpacho. I was leery when they brought it to me in a HUGE bowl. Was the worst I have ever had. Just like some veggies food processed into V8 juice. Exchanged for beet salad which was very good. Had the chicken; way overly salty and a very strange thick au jus . The best was the chocolate cake although we had to wait a long time to get decaf. Will try once more and hope it returns to the likable place we would eat at."

"Food was good, but service was slow. The restaurant only had about 6 tables filled while we were dining. Waited extended amount of time for warm coffee and hard sugar packets, not sure what our server was doing. Our wait time for our food was also extensive in that our food was then served warm instead of hot. However our meal was good, so we didn’t say anything about the temperature. Overall the portions are small, the service is slow, but the food is good."

"This was our second visit to The Wine Dive, and both times were exceptional. This time, we took the in-laws from out of town, and they were equally impressed. My father-in-law's comment as we were leaving: “You know, this is probably a place I would have driven past and not even noticed. I'm really glad you brought us here!” The young women at the hostess stand were cheerful and friendly, and we were seated quickly. We had made reservations, just to be safe. "Gatsby’s is a total gem on LI’s North Shore. I’ve been several times and always love the food, and went last night with a girlfriend and just had to write a review on how SUPERB the food and service were. An excellent dining experience, from friendlyfront desk staff to unique specials and delicious entrees. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very attentive too. We ordered abunch of the specials (see pics which included a short ribs and scallops appetizer on a bed of cauliflower mash, the carrotginger soup which was phenomenal, the mushroom ricotta truffle ravioli (insane! and the chilean sea bass. If you come here, youneed to order a pasta dish, all of the pasta is made from scratch including the ravioli and you can seriously taste thedifference. Overall phenomenal! The menu itself is great but the specials are always fantastic. Great for a girls night or datenight, and the decor is beautiful too. Highly recommend!"

"This restaurant came highly recommended and we were trying it out to host our rehearsal dinner. I'm so glad we did. I'm guessing covid had a massive impact on this restaurant. The food was very ok and a few things weren't cooked correctly. The service was really lacking. It was very clear they were understaffed. The hostess was also a waitress. We were waiting a long time before being checked on and were delivered dirty silverware and glasses. Disappointed to leave this review and I wish them all the best in sorting it out, but we won't return here."

"I can always recommend the shrimp provencale, 3 jumbo shrimp in a flavorful garlic sauce on toast points. Since we were splitting that and another dish, we asked the chef to add one more shrimp and toast point so we could each have two and charge us appropriately. Our other dish was just okay, a vegetarian couscous dish with zucchini and garbanzo beans. Thin broth, not hardy enough for my liking. They could use a good tea selection. I think they only had black. Excellent service!"

"I saw borns here yesterday. when we first arrived there, my first thought was in the bang, this place is small, but it was a good time. the staff was very friendly to me. Usually the security at any show that I "needs to great power-triping problems, and are super rude, but not at this place. My only complaining is that the bathroom was upstairs, but that's really nothing they could change."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. "We went to Orange Anchor because we had heard the food was good and we wanted a nice outdoor dining experience with a view in DC. Though they do not accept reservations for their patio, they did have an outdoor table available at the time of our reservation in between the patio and inside dining area, behind a giant pillar. We were satisfied with this since it was better than being inside but even the best patio seating didn 't have much of a view since Orange Anchor is located down by the fountain at the harbor and not up on the main drag. It was a Monday night so we took advantage of $7 champagne and $1 oysters we ordered a dozen of the chilled oysters. We ordered these before we ordered our meal. We received the drinks in about 10 minutes (no oysters and at that time ordered our food. Not more than 15 minutes later, we received our entrees. Still no oysters. We were surprised that our food came so quickly too quickly as we wanted our oysters first and also wanted to relax a little bit. We asked that since our entrees came, that we only get 1/2 dozen oysters instead. We started eating our entrees (mussels for my husband a small portion and only luke warm and the portobello mushrooms for me (delicious! . 5 minutes later a dozen oysters arrived chilled but with champagne instead of cocktail sauce (this was another option for the oyster order we ordered the chilled oysters not the champagne oysters . When we finished eating, we ordered another round of drinks just a beer and a glass of champagne. It took over 20 minutes for those drinks to arrive and the restaurant wasn 't busy we felt rushed through the whole meal but then somewhat abandoned at the end. We didn 't complain or make any fuss. The manager was apologetic, the service was friendly, and the food was good, but overall we were just disappointed in the location and the overall experience."
