"The food was outstanding! The French onion soup was delicious, the mushroom risotto was amazing, and the duck was excellent. However, the service was lacking. Our server was inattentive and, to be honest, rather disrespectful. It took nearly 30 minutes after we were seated for someone to acknowledge us beyond offering water. Being in the industry ourselves, we understand that mistakes happen, but our meal was poorly timed—with about 15 minutes between the appetizers and entrees. At one point, another server had to step in to help clear our table. To top it off, when it was time for the bill, our check and takeout box were handed to us while the server was looking elsewhere. There was also a strange issue with the tip recommendations on the check—suggested amounts of 22%, 20%, and then 25%. Just laughable. It’s disappointing that such a delicious dinner and wine experience was overshadowed by poor service. We’d love to return, but we think we'll wait a few months to see if the front-of-house service improves first."
