"Biscuits and Gravy..... Hummm. First off, biscuits are rolled dough, hand cut with a biscuit cutter not biscuit dough baked in a muffin pan and sliced in half. Also, the gravy is a sawmill gravy (white flour and milk or cream) gravy not a jar of chicken gravy with sausage bits . So disappointed in breakfast this morning. If something isn 't familiar to you, don 't offer it. No one wants to have the waitress return their meal to the kitchen because it 's not made properly. Only other option is to suck it up and pay for it. This place has changed so much in the past few years. We 're not giving it another chance."

"We were seated promptly. The food was excellent. The service was terribly slow. Our appetizers and cocktails came fairly promptly. Our entrees took minutes. We ordered wine when the entrees came. That came an hour later after repeated requests. The waitress was apologetic the restaurant was busy and did not have enough waitstaff, bartenders or chefs. I will go again"

"I really appreciated this experience. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was so awesome as well. From the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left , we were treated so well. The lady at the door took our coats and gave us a choice of a banquette or another table. We chose the banquette, and enjoyed the quiet ambiance. The food came quickly once we made our order. The food was incredibly tasty. We each enjoyed our respective choices from the menu and were allowed time to savor our meal. The absolute BEST part were the desserts! We were treated with an extra complimentary dessert and a lovely talk with the pastry sous chef, Tika. She explained the desserts given and we noted how each one was made to look so perfectly lovely, and the taste was simply outstanding! I would definitely come back to try other items on their menu, and definitely for the desserts!"

"The food was fantastic, but the service was horrible. The waitress clearly did not want to be at work. We had to ask three people to send her over so we could order drinks on multiple occasions. We had to get up and get our own salt and pepper. We had to ask for streak knives. When it came time for dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed and we could not have dessert. After all that, the waitress had the nerve to bring the check with 20% gratuity automatically added. I adjusted it manually. I waited tables for many years. I hope I never made my patrons the way I felt today."

"Nice staff but our experience was pretty bad.We came in and they told us to take the middle table. It was set but dirty. We have a kid, so we have wipes and cleaned it off.About 5 minutes later we got menus. While waiting to order (10-15 mins later) several groups came in after us, sat down, ordered, and got drinks before anyone came to even get our drink order. After a long while we got to place our order and requested a high chair. After an even longer while, the other groups were eating. My gf noticed where they had high chairs so I got one.We got our food. My gf 's first bite garnered this response, this is awful. Shes never that blunt. She ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are pretty dense and there was a very light coating of gravy. My breakfast sandwich was supposed to have jalapeno aioli. It did not.We waited to see if anyone was gonna check on us, and then I went to the counter to order a side of gravy and aioli.A while later we got it.The bread on my sandwich was good. The egg was supposed to be over easy. It was over well. There was no runny bit of the egg.The side of fruit we got was good. The hashbrowns were terrible. Im not sure how that even happens.Overall we spent over an hour here. There was probably 20-30 minutes more than needed waiting for service. The restaraunt was busy but watching people come after us, order, and get their food before us meant we were just in some kind of limbo. It felt like the table was somehow invisible in the space, despite being in the middle of everything. There was a lot of little things that made the experience bad, however, the food was not good. Thats really the biggest thing that matters.I was shocked to have an experience like this in something rated 4+ stars.Maybe it was just a fluke, but it felt more like what Ive seen or read in 3.4-3.6 rated places."

"We were a little disappointed with the experience.this was ann anniversary date night Our focus was the crab offered at the buffet. The crab was cold and very waterlogged. Not our favorite prep method. The other offerings at the buffet were ok. Fairly good assortment with plenty of choices. Service was good. Attentive but not intrusive. Our waiter did surprise us with a happy anniversary cake. This was appreciated-but occurred after we had already visit the dessert station."

"First of all, they are still in the early stages of new opening. The mashed garlic potatoes are just way too garlicy and they just don't have that good whipped potato flavor. The cream corn was great as it was sweet and tasted great. Too many times restaurants play with the corn and it just makes it awful. Now to the prime rib, I ordered medium it was a little tough and not as much flavor as you would like. They do offer you au jus and a demi-glaze gravy for the potatoes. Personally, I think if the prime rib has great flavor and the mashed potatoes as well, you don't need any sauce and I love sauce and gravy. I would suggest if customers don't or can't eat the chivey butter, maybe offer plain or an olive oil/pepper. Also, maybe dim the lights a little bit as it was too bright and less romantic. As I said, still in the new stage and I'm sure they'll get it all together to where it will be perfect."

"Treasure of the Treasure Coast. Fabulous food, good value, courteous friendly service. This is your basic mom/pop strip mall Jamaican foodery. IMHO, this place was the best dining experience during my stay in the area. The spinach/crab appetizer is a must. Other menu items that my party ordered included the seafood paella, coconut shrimp, shrimp kebabs, and cheese fries. The seafood paella was wonderful and fresh. Seasoned just right. the coconut shrimp were crispy and delicious, and the kebabs were very good as well. They came with a really tasty coconut grit cake which was oh so good. The cheese fries catered to one of our children and came out with lots of cheese. She loved it. The guy in the kitchen here knows what he is doing. A real artist. Don't visit the area without trying this place."

"we wanted to sit outside, but unfortunately it was too wet outside and the staff was overwhelmed by some other big parties, so we really did not enjoy as much as we would have wished. the place was loud and it seemed only 2 server for the whole space. the drinks and the desserts were excellent and the food was good. I would definitely return in a clear night to get the full experience."

"The experience at this restaurant was exceptional. We began by having a drink at the bar while our table was being prepared, as we had arrived early. Dennis, the bartender, quickly acknowledged us. Once we were seated, the waitstaff greeted us promptly. Michael, the manager, also welcomed us warmly and was aware that we were celebrating our anniversary. Sarah, our server, took our orders soon after and our appetizers arrived promptly and piping hot. Our entrees were just as delicious. The dessert they provided us with was incredible. We will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to our friends. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful anniversary celebration."

"We had a reservation but still had to wait before we were seated. Once we were seated, our server was not friendly at all. No smile, no warmth, she simply took our orders without writing anything down and then seemed to get annoyed when we sent back an extra latte that we didn't order (who wants to pay extra for something they didn't order and didn't want She then came to ask us how we were once and then we didn't see her again until we needed our check. We sat around for 10 minutes before finally seeing her and flagging her down to ask for the check, and then when we asked for separate checks, she said she couldn't do that (how come every other restaurant can do it The food was good but not amazing. And there were weirdly a ton of college frat bros eating at the same time as us. Considering everything, I wouldn't choose to eat here again. There are better places to take your business."

"Great Alice In Wonderland themed tea. This was my favorite childhood novel and Disney movie, so this was right up my alley. The restaurant did a great job with the theme and in a beautiful room that opened to the gardens. They even had music. We were the only ones there, so we felt extra special. The service was great. I highly recommend. My only criticism was that the marketing was weak. It was even hard to figure out whether I was making reservations for the right thing online. All worked out though. For your reference, tea reservations are at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m."

"Mother 's day brunch was a disaster. Showed up today to have Mother 's day brunch. Waitress was slow and didn 't seem interested in serving us. My daughter has a nut allergy and told the waitress to leave nuts and seeds out of appetizer acai bowl. It showed up with nuts and seeds. Manager came and asked if she would just prefer chicken strips and fries. We agreed but the chicken strips were not cooked all the way through. My 6 year old daughter even said they tried to poison her twice. My wife enjoyed her tempura fried cauliflower and I thought the ceasar salad was really good so the meal started good. 90 minutes go by and entrees still hadn 't come out. Waitress was m.i.a. so we couldn 't complain or get drinks refills. The lobster roll had too much mayonnaise so my wife didn 't even eat her Mother 's day meal. My smashed burgers were just regular burgers and over sauced and wasn 't that good. When the check came we were charged for all 3 Mother 's day special meals even though my daughter only got semi raw chicken and didn 't eat anything else after talk with manager I got a discount. This was not good experience and we 'll never go back."

"Absolutely amazing food (in taste, proportion and presentation) exceptional customer service both at the table and the front desk. We are visiting from Colorado and decided to eat here based on the online reviews and recommendations from family that live here. I had the Baja Benedict and my partner had the cinnamon roll French toast, both were great! The waitress was awesome and when we went to check out we decided to buy some shirts because they have very creative, unique and patriotic designs on them. The kind woman at the host stand tried to help me find the one I was looking for but we were not able to. She got the owner (Mo) a very nice gentleman and even he helped. He asked us to wait a moment and went into the back, low and behold he returned with the design I was hoping to find. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you to all the team at Grannies and to the awesome owner Mo!"

"Prime rib way overpriced at $50. Ordered med rare and got well done. Sent it back and got a piece that was 50% fat. Potatoe side dish was very good. The butternut squash raviolis were awesome. The lasagna, bread and ceasar salad were great. Would recommend bringing your own wine and paying the $20 corkage fee. Will probably give it another chance."

"I understand that this is a very busy season for the Red Lion Inn. The room was crowded (we were seated next to a large group with several children) so no points lost for that. It was the overall experience that lacked. We were in and out of the restaurant within an hour, the service was so rushed. The prices were very high for the food we received. I had the curried cauliflower steak. It was one slice of cauliflower roasted with out seasoning or oil which was placed on top of some curry sauce with a bit of cooked greens on the side. The plating was pretty but for $26, it was not great. My husband had the turkey dinner off the tavern menu which had a bone in the meat and was served with roasted brussels sprouts (odd choice for a turkey dinner). No bread was served, we had to ask for salt and pepper at the table. It was far from 4 star rating we were expecting for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was nice, the wait staff were pleasant but rushed service coupled with lackluster food was not worth the price paid."
