"First time visiting Mama Theresa?s Restaurant this evening. We were pleasantly surprised. We walked in it looks like a quick pizza take out joint BUT it?s not. You continue to walk all the way to the back they have a larger dining area with about 10 tables. The decor is warm, updated and to me pretty. The manager owner was very friendly and so was the younger wait staff. We ordered an appetizer of friend ravioli, two personal pizzas (Buffalo chicken, plain cheese) I ordered the Rice Ball, and a Bowl of Cream Of Broccoli Soup. We sat for a few minutes they brought a big basket of FRESH GARLIC KNOTS on the house so good! Marinara was tart, tangy with a Hint of sweetness so good. The knots were fresh the dough my husband and I agree is the best in the area by far. Our personal pizzas showed up next and man these things were BIG not the tiny 8? pizzas you get at other places this was like a small pizza about 12?. My son and husband loved their pizzas! They also liked the fried ravioli but they were kinda the basic fried ravioli. On to my soup. The soup was sooo good and fresh it was like they made the soup just for me. The broccoli was cooked perfect in a nice tasty cream! It was definitely not canned the broccoli was definitely chopped and cooked fresh. I was so surprised. On the menu it states all soups are made fresh daily. So if your a soup nut like me it?s definitely worth trying. The rice ball came out cut in half topped with melted mozzarella and I think ricotta covered in their flavorful marinara. It was delicious. The soup also came with a side of bread which I was too full to eat. We were about to leave it behind until we were all like nope let?s try it and WOW we are that last piece of bread like there was no tomorrow so fresh crisp on the outside and fluffy and warm on the inside. Best dough bread around. We get the check $45.00 for all that food and GOOD food!! So happy we went and we will definitely be back again for take out and to dine in their dining room!"

"First impressions were a small, quiet, upscale, pub with a comfortable vibe. It was very comfortable, a hint of incense as we entered made me realise this was something different. We picked a table in the back as a duet was setting up (more later , and were greeted by a smile from the server who brought menus and took drinks orders. I picked a shandy on tap (delicious , my wife had a 4 Roses and coke, our friend had a glass of wine. Then I noticed signs for infused spirits, done in house. I had a vanilla and honey bourbon after dinner that was really nice, but want to go back try the habanero tequila. For starters we had a plate of crispy pot stickers served with a nice dipping sauce with kick. We all had the corn chowder, that gets a big recommendation from me ... delicious. I was torn on dinner because the menu has a lot of choices; small plates, sammichs , poutine-style, and large plates. I went with the New York steak and chose local mushrooms rather than veg and it was worth every penny. My wife had the short rib poutine, I stole a cheese curd with some sauce from the ribs and YUM! Dessert was a custard dishes. Mine has an espresso liqueur, while my wife 's had strawberries. Served in large champagne glasses, these looked like cocktails and were a perfect way to have a light but flavourful dessert Our server was terrific. Friendly, willing to make suggestions, and answered questions about the menu items. She was attentive without hovering and made us feel very comfortable. The bartender, (Markoh perhaps? was friendly and kept an eye on everything. Drinks were solid and reasonably priced. Oh the duet. I am not a fan of live music while I dine in general as it tends to be played too loud. BUT, the music was at a reasonable level so we could enjoy it and still have a conversation. The guys were really good, played and sang well, and were joined on some songs by a young lady with a nice voice as well. We will be back."
