"Have eaten in the restaurant and gotten takeout from here for over 15 years but never again. My kids are home from college for a long weekend and before they head back we decided to go to Lombardi 's for a family dinner. After apps we ordered dinner. I chose from the daily specials menu the stuffed veal chop. The waiter asked Salad or pasta which that? I chose pasta. What type of pasta and what kind of sauce? I replied rigatoni and vodka. The meal came. It was fine. A little fatty and too much cheese but besides that it was good. When the check came I noticed that the veal was billed at $56. I could have sworn that it was priced $40 something on the menu. I went to double check and sure enough it was listed on the menu at $43. I asked the waiter why I was charged an additional $13 over menu price and he apologized and went to look for the manager. He returned 15 minutes later and handed me the corrected bill. The veal was now only overpriced at $49 this time. I asked to speak to the manager and the waiter asked me to find him at the bar (why the customer goes to the manager and not vice versa is beyond me). I found the manager sitting at the bar eating and watching tv and asked why the corrected bill was still $6 over the menu price. He explained that the menu was wrong and should have said $49. He went on to explain how he hooked me up by not charging me more for upgrading from tomato sauce to vodka sauce. Something that would normally incur a $7 surcharge. He then told me that he would have to instruct the waiter on informing customers that pasta sides don 't get a choice. Charged $13 over menu price. Corrected to only $6 over menu price. Had to go to the manager at the bar to be informed how this was actually taking care of me. Waiter was a nice guy, not his fault. Still got a19% tip. Waiter was great, food wasn 't bad but I 'm done with this place based solely on the managers scam, laziness and attitude."

"I’ve been to Farmers Distillers numerous times and some were not so good. This was definitely the worst experience. It took more than 5 minutes for the host to come to the host stand and seat a party that was there before us and then us. When we were seated it took another 5-10mins for the waiter to come and greet us. After which he didn’t seem to be too familiar with what was available. We were told they were waiting on a shipment. It would have been great if we’d been informed what was not available on the menu before we made our selections. We opted to just leave instead of the multiple substitutions that would have been necessary. When informing the host of our departure he was incredibly nonchalant about the whole thing. Overall; this was the most disappointing experience and it seems F D has really struck out."

"Five of us had a table in the back. It was nicely spaced from the other dinners. We loved that we were not rushed. We had drinks and then gave our antipasti. The cornmeal crusted artichoke hearts were tasty. I had the salmon which was cooked through because that is how I wanted it. My husband had the branzino which he said was nicely made with a crispy skin. We passed on the dessert. We would definitely go back. My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the recorded music as it interfered with our conversation."

"I visited Filomena Lakeview Inn at around 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 27th. The waiter initially brought two menus and a lunch special menu. I requested another lunch special menu as I was meeting a friend, but he informed me they only had 10 per section. Despite the restaurant not being busy, he eventually agreed to bring one. In the end, we decided to order from the main menu. I opted for the mustard seed crusted salmon priced at $29. I had considered the crab cakes, which I believe were $39, but the waiter mentioned that they came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When I asked if I could substitute the mixed veggies for mashed potatoes and spinach, he stated that there would be an additional $5 charge for the spinach. I was taken aback by this and ultimately chose the salmon. The snarky attitude of the waiter and the $5 upcharge for spinach left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite having recommended Filomena Lakeview Inn in the past, my experience today has left me disappointed."

"Horrendous customer service. I spent over $50 for a salad and a pizza and a side of spaghetti for my kid. I asked for salad dressing on the side and parmesan on side for spaghetti. No dressing. No parmesan. My kid refused to eat the pasta and well who eats a salad with no dressing. Called the restaurant and they said sorry, we can 't bring your dressing. "The staff at this restaurant were rude and provided incorrect information about the food. When I tried to show them the correct description on Google, they spoke to me in Russian and made disrespectful comments to another waiter in the same language. The food was overly salty, the bread was dry, and the sauce on the pizza tasted sour. This experience was very disappointing and not worth the money or frustration. "#DJS8 #eatatjumbos My first time back since they reopened. The kids had a small cheese pizza and loved it. I tried the Vegan Steakbomb with fries. The fries were always good and remain so. Delicious!!! The Vegan Steakbomb was simply incredible. Best vegan sub in my 35 years of eating vegan food. No joke. No lie. Greasy in the best way possible. Made with Seitan. This thing was packed. Yummy new vegan cheese out of NYC. I wish I took pictures but I was starving. Next time, no doubt. Thanks to Grover Taylor and the team for a job well done. All power to the people!!!"

"I truly miss what Planet Pizza use to be. My family and I have been faithful loyal customers for over 25 years. These past few years, they have been going down. The atmosphere is terrible. I’ve had attitude given to me on the phone and in person, orders incorrect, etc. I’ve tried to ignore it but my most recent interaction was my final straw. I walked in there with a friend and we were standing at the counter for 5 minutes and were ignored.. they saw us and intentionally ignored us. I told my friend I’m not spending my money here and started walking out. Maybe they noticed I was walking away so one of the workers that’s been there for years finally spoke. I attempted to order a slice I ALWAYS order. It’s never in the counter, i just order it and they typically add the toppings to a plain slice. This time, the worker was completely disinterested in what I wanted and told me to pick from the counter. It was the coldness in his tone, like I was bothering him. We walked out. It was in that moment I realized I will never spend another dime with Planet Pizza I mean that. I went down the road to another pizzeria, they were SO WELCOMING it was my first time there the food was good. That further solidified my decision to never spend my money with Planet Pizza. Greenburgh residents have helped support and sustain this business and the way they treat members in the community as if we are a bother is actually ridiculous."

Rest assured, the only reason this place is still open is be its in a hotel and is required for room service. Recently, my wife called in for two subs and some potato skins half an hour before picking them up, only to wait an additional 25 minutes once she arrived. "Told the waitress when we sat down that we wanted a specific cake in the window, she forgot to hold it and when dessert came around the cake was sold to someone else . Then they charged me an extra credit card processing fee which is illegal as per section 518 general business law because the actual total wasn’t displayed in dollars and cents when I went to pay. As far as the food I found it overpriced and lacking eye appeal, basically a chicken cutlet with mozzarella on top and nothing else. Going further angelinas kitchen will be anyone’s best bet. No wonder why this place is up for sale"
