"A fancy yet dressed down restaurant with an eclectic wide-ranging menu that includes everything from Chinese food, to Italian food with fresh pasta, to fried chicken with donuts. Donuts. If you look on the Google maps, all you'll see is pictures of chicken and donuts so I had to try it. I am very versed and chicken and waffles and the key to chicken and waffles is mixing the sweet with spice. And you do that by adding hot sauce to your chicken. Eating it with your waffles with syrup. It's no different here. They provide their own homemade hot sauce as well as a white gravy. I went with a large group, everyone tried something different and everyone enjoyed what they liked. We also tried a lot of the appetizers and also enjoyed all of those. The service was great and our waiter recommended some of the best items off the menu. I really enjoyed the vibe and it was a place I could hang out at all night. They also had a bar with a large selection of both beer and wine. They distill their own liquors there. So if you order vodka or bourbon, your choices will be limited often having to drink only theirs. However, I did enjoy their liquor quite considerably."

Sooooooooo good!!!!! It was kinda expensive (around $50 a person if you have a drink) but the buffet style meal is amazing.

Absolutely delicious. A smorgasbord of goodness. The only downside is that my stomach wasn?t big enough to eat everything I wanted. Also waitstaff was great!! AND they have those cool pay at the table checks, very convenient and easy to spilt a bill.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My husband and I dined here to celebrate our anniversary, and we returned again to celebrate his birthday. It's a special treat for sure. I highly recommend the half pound Louie - it's absolutely amazing! The drinks may be a bit expensive, but they are delicious. The food is incredibly delicious. We will definitely be returning for more special occasions in the future! View menu

A bit high end but the prices reflect the quality. We stopped here for dinner Saturday the 18th around 730. Our server Justin was great providing suggestions for cocktails (made with their own liquor) and food. We ended up doing appetizers for dinner and drinking a few rounds of delicious cocktails favorites included the bread platter, the barrel aged old fashioned and the bourbon maple smash. After it was all over we wished we had ordered from their excellent dinner options and hope to come back and try more of their excellent food.

I had a generally good experience at this restaurant. The burger was delicious, as was the tequila with egg whites. We had reserved a table in the outdoor area enclosed with plastic, which was advertised on the website as $20 per person. Although we were provided with popcorn, we were disappointed to find out that we did not receive the whiskey flights that were promised on the website. It seems like the owner acknowledged this mistake, as he gave us complimentary desserts after we ordered them, although he did not mention the missing flights himself.

We were staying at Hampton across the street, and decided to try their happy hour at F D. Prices were good. Staff was excellent really hustling. We didn?t have to wait long for food and drink. The spicy pork riblets were just okay not much meat. He really wanted the hot dog $6) and tater tots $4), but they didn?t have them. Huge disappointment. I enjoyed my shrimp spring roll Margarita wanted it sweeter, though). The Margarita packed a punch! Or I?m a lightweight. Or both! I would have tried the other Spring Rolls, but hubby wanted something more to eat, and nothing on the menu appealed to him. Oh, well. Can?t please everyone. View menu

I came here for Sunday brunch. What a disappointment. I know people love an all you can eat buffet but the food here was mediocre at best. The crowd was so large that we had to wait for a table even though we had a reservation. They never refilled or were slow to refill dishes ev$n though we were there at noon. The food stations were often filthy, the eggs were cold, and the hash browns looked terrible. The staff was friendly though they all looked pretty harried. There are many wonderful places to have brunch in D.C. but this is not one of them. I am genuinely surprised this place gets great reviews. Perhaps some people value quantity over quality?

This restaurant offers a cute and creative buffet brunch experience on weekends. They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options that are well-cooked and served in clean areas. The dessert buffet is delicious and guests are respectful, wearing masks at the buffet. Despite being busy, it is a pleasant dining experience. The espresso machine was broken and the $4 price for plain coffee may be a bit steep, but overall, the food is great. Brunch is served until technically 2pm, but they continue to serve buffet items for latecomers. The $30 brunch buffet cost may be on the higher side, so it is advisable to arrive early to fully enjoy the experience. Due to its popularity, making a reser...

"I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"For a special occasion, make a reservation at Michelin star Reverie, a small restaurant inside a Georgetown alley. If you 're lucky, you 'll meet Poppy the Alley Cat that is taken care of by the community, including by the staff at Reverie. My wife dined at Reverie on a Thursday evening. Here 's our experience. 1) Experience: It 's a Michelin star restaurant so expect superb service. It 's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft and his passion is contagious. Every staff member from our server to the chefs who brought out our food, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Throughout the stay, we were given wet towels to wash our hands in between snacks. Our water glasses were kept full. If we really loved a dish, our server would point out elements or teach us tips on how to use similar flavors at home. The journey begins with savory snacks and ends with sweet ones. Since the menu changes often, a copy of your dinner 's meu is given to you to take home at the end. It 's a perfect memento, especially if you 're celebrating something special. 2) Food: Reverie 's menu changes, but whatever you 're served will be innovative, fresh, and full of flavor. It 's also a tasting menu. When we went in May 2025, the menu included 17 different bites/dishes. The meal starts and ends with three small bites. The next nine dishes mainly included seafood and one was elk. Every dish is presented on a design-forward plate and came in full color and plated perfectly. A sign of a good restaurant is perfection in every dish and there wasn 't a bad one. We thoroughly enjoyed every single one, but our favorites were the Scallop, which comes in a fun sunchoke cracker sandwich, Hiramasa with juniper and caviar, and the Carolina Gold Rice. 3) Drink: Reverie 's drink menu comes with cocktails named after neighborhoods from around the world, wine, and other options. The Golden Gai is now my wife 's favorite Old Fashioned. She ordered two. For a sweeter refreshing cocktail, get the Old San Juan. For a refreshing, but sherry-forward cocktail, I recommend the Roma Notre. The dinner begins with chilled tea for all and it is very tasty. Savor it. At the end, you 'll have an opportunity to order more tea. Each blend is unique. I recommend any of it. 4) Price: It 's $245 a person for the tasting menu and additional prices for drinks, but for a quality dinner experience, it could be more expensive. We found it to be a fair price, especially for a special occasion. 5) Space: It 's beautiful! The design is not ornate, but rather simple, making it classy. There are two unisex restrooms in the back. When you sit down, you 're offered small stools to place your phones, belongings, etc. 6) Neighborhood: Inside an alley, there 's much to explore nearby from other top restaurants, cafes, and historic homes. We usually find street parking nearby by the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
