"Terrible experience in this restaurant, especially because of the service. We were served by a waiter with little politeness, pressuring us because at 8:45 we had not placed the order and that the kitchen had closed early (we had informed that we were waiting for a fourth person and that for the moment we would order drinks and an appetizer) Even if this is true, you have to be professional in your work, have a little empathy and good communication, the rest of the staff also showed a zero pleasant attitude. We expected more from this restaurant but it is not welcoming It is obvious that we will not return at least to this location to which we traveled from New York. I just appreciate the busboy's attention, he was the only one that stood out! Terrible experience at this restaurant, especially due to the service. We were served by a waiter with little professionalism, pressing us because at 8:45 we hadn't placed our order and claiming the kitchen had closed early (we had explained that we were waiting for a fourth person and would order drinks and an appetizer in the meantime). Even if this were true, it's important to be professional, show some empathy, and communicate effectively. The rest of the staff also displayed an unwelcoming attitude. We expected more from this restaurant, but it's far from inviting. It's clear we won't be returning, at least not to this location we traveled all the way from New York."

"hands down some of THE best Mexican food i've ever had! i ordered the Enchiladas de Mole dinner with sour cream, chips with salsa, and a bottled Mexican Coke and everything was clearly made from scratch and with love the servings were generous, the mole sauce was complex and rich, the enchiladas were perfect, the rice and beans were delicious, the chips were fresh, and the salsas (which i was pleasantly surprised when i received both a roja salsa and verde enchilada sauce, some places don't do that! were unbelievable.everything had a nice spice level, more flavor oriented than spicy but it had a nice kick i added some hot sauce i had at home for a little bit more, but that's just my preference! the price for their bottled Coke is the most affordable i've seen in town which stood out to me since it's my favorite. i kid you not, the verde sauce could be bottled and sold, it's easily without a doubt the best i've ever had.and not only is the food phenomenal, but who i presume are the owners are very kind my bus was running severely behind when i scheduled a pickup for around 8ish PM so i didn't get there until 8:45 PM, which i felt terrible about; i assume it was slow so they were closing up early, but they waited for me and were understanding and so sweet. i'm newer to the area, but i can already tell this will permanently be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago.Vegetarian options: very good vegetarian options in almost every category of dish! they even have vegetarian tacos which i'm excited to tryKid friendliness: lovely small business with a warm environment, good owners, no coloring books or anything but it's a welcoming spot!"
