"My experience at Park Inn Restaurant was a letdown, starting from the front door. We chose this spot for our anniversary, excited by its culinary reputation, but found ourselves stymied by a maître d' more focused on pretense than hospitality. Despite multiple empty tables at 6:40pm on a Tuesday in the Finger Lakes, we were turned away from table service with claims of reservations that never seemed to materialize. Relegated to the bar, service lagged—from delayed orders to slow drink refills probably due to a bartender that was overwhelmed because the maître d' wasn't seating tables. Notably, another diner, even recognized as a repeat guest by the maître d', was also denied a table now 7:30pm. I had seen 3 reservations arrive during my time sitting at the bar next to the host stand. This repeat solo guest was also bizarrely denied an open seat next to us at the bar. By the time we left at 8:20pm (Restaurant closes at 9pm), many tables remained unoccupied, highlighting a disconnect between the host's gatekeeping and actual demand. The maître d' seems to play gatekeeper to an empty kingdom, the chefs who certainly deserve accolades also deserve a better host. Photos taken during our visit clearly show the empty tables, contradicting the maître d's insistence on all seats being reserved. This unnecessary gatekeeping resulted in not only a disappointing experience for us but also other potential diners being turned away. The establishment's approach to managing reservations and guest seating desperately needs reevaluation."

"Chose this spot due to being dog friendly. The yelp reviews had me a little worried but our experience was great! For the first 20 30 min we were there, there was only one guy working the floor and register. He was covering the main dining room, the side room, and the outdoor patio where we were sitting at least 8 tables in between the three. Considering how much he was taking care of, he was doing an awesome job. Mozzarella sticks came out pretty quickly and were devoured by our ravenous crew. They were ok just kind of generic mozz sticks. In two of the five sticks, the cheese had leaked out during the frying process, leaving a hollow shell of breadcrumbs. The rest of the food came out soon after and we dove in. Everyone was really happy with what they ordered. My son and I split two 1/2 and 1/2 platters, opting for Calamari (interesting thick pieces), popcorn shrimp (ok), scallops (pretty tasty, although fried scallops will always be inferior to sautéed in my opinion), and clam strips (the real winner with my son. I love their flavor, I just wish there had been bigger pieces or just more). My wife opted for the 3 pc Pacific Cod and chips from the Minnow menu. She said it was the perfect portion for a light lunch. My vegetarian daughter ordered the grilled cheese and we were all impressed by the cook on the sandwich see my pic perfect golden brown from crust to crust. I almost forgot to mention the house made cocktail and tartar sauces. Both were really good. Cocktail could probably have more horseradish, but good for a general audience. Prices were alright, considering we're in a touristy spot. 4 meals, and appetizer, four soft drinks , and a good tip ran us $100. Overall, the service was great and the food pretty tasty. I would absolutely go back again."

"I ordered the Market Roll Trio, which features three half-portions of their different rolls—perfect for sampling. Each roll boasts high-quality seafood piled generously onto brioche buns. The Hot Connecticut Lobster Roll was dressed with butter and garlic, allowing the natural sweetness of the lobster to shine through. The butter lightly coated the lobster, with the excess perfectly absorbed by the brioche. It was absolutely delicious! Next was the Cold Maine Lobster Roll, which included celery and pickles mixed with mayo. I found that sometimes the gherkins slightly overpowered the lobster, depending on the bite. However, my favorite was definitely the Hot PNW Crab Roll, topped with a sprinkle of Old Bay and a delightful blend of butter and aioli. All of the rolls were fresh, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I also decided to upgrade my fries to garlic parmesan for an extra $3. They came generously topped with cheese and garlic, garnished with parsley. The diced garlic added a nice pungent kick. The fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a 14 oz Lychee Lemonade, a frozen, smoothie-like drink filled with bits of lychee pulp and topped with two lychee fruits. It was deliciously sweet, but I didn’t find much of a tang from the lemonade. Although it was a bit pricey at $11, I’m glad I gave it a try! I can’t wait to return for more of their soups and more of those garlic fries!"
