"This place was truly a hidden gem in Hammondsport! We stayed in Room 2, which had a lovely sitting area with a very comfortable couch perfect for relaxing. The bedroom was spacious and featured an incredibly cozy king-size bed, along with a delightful view of the village park through the window. The bathroom had been recently renovated and included high-quality amenities. My parents were in Room 4, which was also beautiful, although a bit smaller. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches, such as a great selection of coffee and tea, premium soaps and shampoos, a guest book with an instant camera, historical books, and more! It was a joy to experience this gorgeous historic building right in the center of town. We would definitely come back in a heartbeat!"

This is a fantastic restaurant with an excellent wine selection, though they could benefit from adding some Spanish wines.

The menu is slightly smaller, but everything was excellent. The service was great, and I especially loved the gnocchi and steelhead trout. I highly recommend this place! View menu

Fantastic service, delicious food, and a lovely atmosphere! The salad, deviled eggs, trout, pork chop, pumpkin crème brûlée, and wine recommendations were all outstanding! We will definitely return. Service: 5

I had a fantastic experience at the Park Inn. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and there was plenty of towels available. We also enjoyed taking a relaxing stroll a few blocks to the lake to see the boats.

The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the delicious food they serve. I had a wonderfully cooked pork chop accompanied by delightful carrot cake. I didn't explore the upstairs section. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 4.

We started our meal with the calamari appetizer, and it was amazing! Our main courses were just as impressive; I had the eggplant, and my husband went for the sirloin. Both dishes were delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection! Our server, Jaden, was attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable, not to mention he had a wonderful smile! We've eaten here many times, but tonight was definitely our best experience yet! Thank you to the staff at Park Inn!

"First visit to the Timber Stone Grill while on vacation for my wife's Birthday. They have a nice outside patio seating section to go along with the inside dining and bar. The ambiance is pub style yet the menu and execution are upscale, along with the prices. We started with the Hearts of Romaine salad $12) to share, a well dressed salad with shaved Parmesan cheese, peppercorn and baguette croutons which was very tasty. Next we had the Tuscan Style Calamari $16), capers, olives, scallions, sweet peppers, this was very interesting and quite good, not your standard Calamari for sure. The Birthday girl had the Bistro Tenderloin $38), with green beans and roasted garlic whipped potatoes piped into a decorative pillowy mound. She throughly enjoyed all, the tenderloin cooked to a perfect medium as requested. I went with the Bone in Ribeye $46), topped with bacon, scallions and blue cheese crust with the green beans and whipped potatoes. My steak was a bit past medium as requested one side stayed on too long as demonstrated by the uneven ring), the bacon and blue cheese where a nice addition as the steak sans crust was not that flavorful. I didn't feel it warranted the price as this in the league of steakhouses I frequent and this steak wasn't on that level unfortunately. We ended with 2 Lemon Cheesecakes $8) served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and regrettably raspberry sauce garnish which I feel they should ask if you would like added as neither of us like it. The Birthday girl had hers comped which was very nice. Our server Brian was a star, extremely personable and attentive, it was a pleasure watching him work his other tables as well and make time to chat, then wisk away to handle his next task. Overall we had a very nice time at the Timber Stone Grill, a pub with a fine dining menu and presentation. Cheers"
