"I ordered the Market Roll Trio, which features three half-portions of their different rolls—perfect for sampling. Each roll boasts high-quality seafood piled generously onto brioche buns. The Hot Connecticut Lobster Roll was dressed with butter and garlic, allowing the natural sweetness of the lobster to shine through. The butter lightly coated the lobster, with the excess perfectly absorbed by the brioche. It was absolutely delicious! Next was the Cold Maine Lobster Roll, which included celery and pickles mixed with mayo. I found that sometimes the gherkins slightly overpowered the lobster, depending on the bite. However, my favorite was definitely the Hot PNW Crab Roll, topped with a sprinkle of Old Bay and a delightful blend of butter and aioli. All of the rolls were fresh, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. I also decided to upgrade my fries to garlic parmesan for an extra $3. They came generously topped with cheese and garlic, garnished with parsley. The diced garlic added a nice pungent kick. The fries were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a 14 oz Lychee Lemonade, a frozen, smoothie-like drink filled with bits of lychee pulp and topped with two lychee fruits. It was deliciously sweet, but I didn’t find much of a tang from the lemonade. Although it was a bit pricey at $11, I’m glad I gave it a try! I can’t wait to return for more of their soups and more of those garlic fries!"

I ventured in and ordered for pickup while strolling Edmonds. It's a cute little restaurant but super packed during lunch rush and I am glad to have taken...

The prices have become too high for what you receive. The portion of fish is now 50% less than when the restaurant first opened. Overall, the cost is not justified based on the quality and quantity of the food. I ordered takeout, but I still feel it’s overpriced.

Just a heads up, they now close at 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and at 7 PM on Sundays, although both Google and their website still list the closing time as 9 PM. We arrived just five minutes before closing and were disappointed to find out we had missed it—it felt like a waste of our time. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1.

The hot lobster rolls are consistently delicious! The seasonal Hot Apple Cider was priced at $4.00, which felt a bit expensive, and it wasn't particularly sweet. I deducted a star because they only have outdoor seating, and not all of it is covered or heated – only a few areas have heating. On weekends, it's really crowded, making it difficult to find a seat. I can’t really comment on the food, but running out of the only vegetarian dish on your menu by noon on a Sunday is quite embarrassing. It left me, a vegetarian who kindly joined some friends who love fish, without any options. The complete lack of care or suggestions for how to accommodate me was just rude. I won’t be making that mistake again, and I’ll definitely advise my group against choosing The Market in the future.

The high rating is because the food is incredible. If it was based on the food alone, it would be 5 stars. However, being able to only sit outside is such a bummer. I absolutely love sitting outside during the summer and fall, even on crisp cold days but sometimes I end up skipping market strictly because I'm not dressed to sit outside. It is covered and clean, but it's a small area and space is often lacking when it's busy. I've only ever used the window service and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. My favorite thing on the menu is the lobster bisque. I now live out of town, but will drive to Edmonds strictly for that bread bowl. The soup is creamy, flavorful, and filled with...

"The Delish is in the Details MDH invited me out to lunch, so based on a recent review, I suggested Bistro 76 Cafe and Catering, in Perrinville, just north of Edmonds. They're known locally for their breakfasts (including house made cinnamon rolls on the weekends), but we're slow risers. Menu perused, five of six lunch sandwich options were approved for sharing (no mushrooms), and a trade deal was struck. Grilled Cheese and Spiced Butternut Bisque for me, and a Reuben with Sweet Potato and Ham Soup for him. We swapped soup bowls twice. The Spiced Butternut Bisque had more depth of flavor and a hint of sweetness, while the Sweet Potato's little hits of ham made it solidly enjoyable, if simpler. Our sandwiches, of good size, scored points for the artisan bread, toasted but not so crunchy as to rake the roof of your mouth, soft, fresh, rye ciabatta, the tenderest corned beef I've ever had, and white cheddar/smoked gouda and gruyere cheeses, instead of just a basic cheddar or swiss. The tomato and red onion concasse sang in harmony on the Grilled Cheese, and the guinness molasses mustard quietly hummed on the Reuben. Not only was the food tasty, but pretty, too. A zigzag of white crema across the soups, plus a dusting of spice, heightened our anticipation, even before the spoons broke the surface. Everybody knows that sandwiches taste better cut into triangles, with frilly toothpicks. We took home an order of Banh Mi Tacos for dinner (or second lunch, as a hobbit might suggest), because they sounded so good, and will be going out of rotation for a while. Also, since so many folks ask for breakfasty goodness midday, a couple lunch item slots may make way for more morning foods. One of the chefs kindly chatted with us for a bit, and thus we learned that one can sometimes purchase their lemon curd, jam, or salad dressing to take home. Let me sing you a song of lemon curd, with choruses on fresh squeezed juice, butter, sugar and egg yolks, cooked into custardly thickness. Bistro 76 caters, too. When there's kindness in the kitchen, it comes out in the food. Read Seattle Refined's review for more background on the restaurant and its team. P.S. We will soon be getting up early for breakfast on a weekend, if I have anything to say about it. The pictures I've seen of their cinnamon rolls give me hope that somewhere other than my own kitchen, a moist and substantial cinnamon bun is being produced. Most are too fluffy, and dry. That's the reason I still make homemade yeast rolls for holiday meals, too."
