"Once we received our meals, the same server returned to provide refills, while our original waitress appeared to be wandering around aimlessly as the evening slowed down. Sadly, the food did not meet our expectations. I ordered the Combination #1, which included one beef taco and two beef enchiladas served with beans and rice. The enchiladas were served with hard, stale tortillas that made them difficult to eat, although the beans and rice were decent. The beef was overly greasy and had the taste of meat that had been sitting out for too long. The taco, however, was good. The rest of my family felt similarly underwhelmed by their meals, and while we tried to make the best of our evening, we left feeling unsatisfied and somewhat frustrated. Some in our party had dined here before and had better experiences, but this was my first visit, and it certainly did not impress me. I would recommend looking for dining options elsewhere in the future."

"We decided to explore a new restaurant and found Señor Cactus on Google Maps nearby. The place was clean and well-organized, and we were seated right away. Their salsa and chips were exceptional, and the portions for everything we ordered were quite generous—we all ended up taking home leftovers! I usually go for the chicken fajitas with cheese, and they really nailed it! While it's a straightforward dish, it's surprising how often restaurants get it wrong. They definitely deserve an extra star just for that!"

"The food here was good but the prices were INSANE! My family was looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try. I found Rudy's on Google and it had decent reviews. When we arrived the menu they handed us did not reflect the menu we saw online and there was anote on the table notifying customers of a price change so I figured that that was what the difference was. We ordered a combomeal, fajitas for 1, a kids meal $10! , an ala carte taco, 2 Dr Peppers and a milk. Our bill was $75!! -apparently the note ofprice increase was an additional increase... Unfortunately we will not return as the price is too much for what we ordered."

"For starters, the wait staff was very friendly. It is a big place that has three different dining areas and very clean. The food was wonderful. It tasted like it came from your mother?s kitchen. Everything including the queso was well seasoned. The tortillas were very big and perfectly made. They also have an ice cream bar stocked with Blue Bell. We will be back on our next vacation. The plates were also priced very affordable."

"I guess I should have expected a suburban tex mex experience in Utah. You're better off getting a Mexican microwaved dinner from the grocery store. Beef enchiladas awful. Somehow spicy but also lacks flavor. Why do beef enchiladas taste like celery? Stoffers enchiladas taste better. Canned enchiladas tast better. Very disappointed Rice heavy on the bell pepper and lacks any other flavor Sopapilla can't believe this was $10. Sopapilla are supposed to be light and airy and this was a over sugared, flat, dense, and burnt. So bad."

"This place has quality. But if you are trying to eat a meal that actually has enough portion for an adult I wouldn’t not GO HERE. The Waterloo restaurant is quicker with the order and way more food for the amount of money that you pay. I payed 70 dollars for three meals and there was barely any rice and beans. Rice is so cheap to make and We only received one bag of chips and salsa… I called to complain and they refused to listen to our review. This is the second time and I usually hate people who review like this but this is unacceptable."

"The michelada mix was one of the best we’ve ever had. The chips and salsa may seem like a simple appetizer, but I have to mention them because the heat from the chili builds pleasantly on the back of your palate. The variety of chilaquiles options made me feel like a kid in a candy store. The quality of the food was excellent. My family and I don't typically eat Tex-Mex, as my wife is a second-generation from Jalisco, Mexico, and can be quite critical of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, she loved everything, especially her barbacoa tacos. As long as the quality remains consistent, we will definitely be coming back."

"We were originally headed to Arby's, but they didn’t have an entrance sign. Thankfully, we passed it by and decided to turn around, which led us to discover El Charrito—what a happy accident! The service was quick and friendly, and their top-shelf margaritas were not only delicious but also affordable. The chips and salsa were great, and the salsa was exceptional. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which featured authentic rice and beans. I also loved the huevos rancheros—absolutely delicious! It's probably a good thing we don't live nearby, or we’d definitely be visiting this place at least once a week!"

"They tried to tell me that they did not honor reservations at the bar even though I have made that reservation several other times in the past. I had to get the manager to have my reservation honored at all and then they sat us in the middle of the regular (very loud) restaurant. I ordered a chicken tostada salad which arrived without the chicken and without the tostada, and it did not look quite right. I suspect I got someone else's order. The waiter tried to just bring some chicken on a plate, but thankfully the manager replaced the whole salad. IDK if they were mad at me or if they were using old grease or something, but I was sick all night. Not a good experience."

"We are normally fairly regulars during this time of year, visiting the ballpark for Padres games. We were bummed when the dining restrictions went into place, but planned on making it back as soon as we were able. "Easter Sunday, I was very disappointed about the take out food order.I ordered cheese enchilada dinner with 1 Xtra enchilada.The rice and beans were very bland. Two of the enchiladas didn't even have any visible cheese. They looked like and tasted like a tortilla dipped in some tomato sauce and rolled up. The 3rd enchilada, I could see a little trace of cheese. I can say, I didn't get what I paid for unlike several other times I ordered take out there. Previously I've gotten good quality food there.Considering the cost of the cheese enchilada dinner 3 enchiladas and rice and beans with a small side of guacamole, I would have been better off going to Taco Cabana.I don't recommend this place to anyone. They didn't even acknowledge my review. They don't care about customers."
