"Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a delightful hostess who quickly seated us. The restaurant was quite elegant, adorned with white tablecloths, but since it was nearing 9 PM, we chose to sit in the bar area, where the full menu was available. Our waiter, Kenny, was fantastic! He was cheerful, extremely knowledgeable, and provided excellent menu recommendations. The menu was impressive, featuring six types of A5 Wagyu steak along with two other Wagyu options. The Hamachi shots were delicious, and we were treated to complimentary artisan breads and a butter board. Kenny also presented us with six different salts to enhance our Miyazaki Wagyu steak. We enjoyed an incredible filet mignon, a truffle salad, and asparagus, and everything was unbelievably tasty! As our meal concluded, Kenny offered us a selection of desserts to sample, despite our initial decision to skip dessert. They were all exquisite! To cap off the evening, he surprised us with a glass of champagne. I truly believe this restaurant deserves consideration for Michelin stars! We will definitely return the next time we’re in Pasadena. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough."

"My wife and I have enjoyed dining at SeaStar over the years. We celebrated her birthday with 3 other couples and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere and service were great. There 's room for improvement on some of the entries and on value. My cedar plank salmon didn 't meet expectations. The salmon portion was tiny for $58. The vegetable side was broccoli and it was hard and didn 't have much flavor. My wife 's scallops were just ok and like the salmon dish seemed overpriced. We dine in many nice restaurants, and not trying to be overly negative, but just commenting based on how the food compares to other higher-end options. A few friends had the sea bass and thought it was delicious. The wine selection was decent, with high prices that most of us expect at restaurants."

"Great experience! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and immediately when we sat down our waiter said happy anniversary (marked that as an occasion on Open Table) Gram was so attentive kind and helpful in making our food and drink selections. The Blueberry Mojito was so good! We were a bit cold at the beginning and end of our meal (sitting still/not eating etc other than that great atmosphere. Everyone was so nice. We even got some fruit on a plate that had “Happy Anniversary” on it in chocolate. Definitely helped make this one of the best anniversaries we have had. Food was delicious but I personally would have preferred more cheese in my lobster fettuccine. Overall amazing experience everyone should go here!"

"Our first time. Excellent meal. Very well prepared. Beet and burrata appetizer was delicious. Branzino also very good. Halibut a little over done. Apple tarte dessert was unusually done …very tasty. We arrived and were seated at a table for two.. a little cramped. We asked to be moved to a larger table and was accomodated with a larger table with a good view of the beach/ocean. "Service was excellent. The server was friendly and engaged, used dishes were promptly removed, and the timing between courses was good. I had the beef Wellington, available Friday and Saturday only, with au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach — all were well prepared and tasty. The only negative was the Caesar side salad I ordered. It was overly large, for a side salad, and the Caesar dressing was absolutely tasteless. Basically, a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with some parmesan cheese and croutons. Pricing wasn’t outrageous, but definitely high end. I will go again, but skip the salad."

"My most recent visit was somewhat disappointing from my previous visit. The dining room was 3/4 empty. Quite a change from my previous difference. I would have expected a few more patrons on a Thursday night during Restaurant Week. The French Onion Soup was excellent as always. Our entree of Pork Chop was cooked well and properly seasoned. From this point things were a little more disappointing. Bread was not served and the banquette we requested never came. It wasn't because they were busy. Desert was even more disappointing. The Creme Burlee was served right out of the refrigerator and lacked the creme texture I am accustom to. The evening ended with a surcharge on the bill. When inquired , they said they add a surcharge on all bill when paying with a charge card. They added the surcharge before asking if I would be paying with cash or charge card. I wonder if you paid by cash would they actually have deducted the surcharge if you didn't ask. For a $200 plus bill I would have expected much more."

"So here is the deal. I got a dinner for 2 valued at $120 thru Verizon up program. After making the reservation I took my wife and we went to the restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and quiet with low lighting, it has a modern look to it. The lady who greeted us was super nice and gave us our Verizon up menus. Then came the server. When she saw we had Verizon up menus she looked not so happy. She never introduced herself. She took our order. I ordered green salad that was great. Then Flat iron steak with mushrooms for main course she never asked what sides I wanted when the plate can it had potatoes and green beans on it). I did not want to make a scene but anyway the food was excellent. Kudos to the Chef. Then came dessert it was Pistachio bread pudding, which was delicious. Other then the server being standoffish and not coming to check on us the restaurant was beautiful and the food was great."

"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light, but the food was exceptional. The fresh, delicious bread and light, fragrant homemade minestrone were a hit. The shrimp dish was excellent as well. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

"Beautiful oceanside restaurant at Pickering Wharf. We made a lunch reservation and every dish was delicious and very fresh. Highly recommend the beet stack salad with pistachio pesto. "My husband and I ate here for the first time after touring a home for sale in the area. We got a place to sit quickly, the walls are covered in artwork for sale, and the staff was friendly and quick to serve. The booths and tables are a little out dated,but it was a clean. We placed our order, and it was delivered quickly. I felt bad that I kept getting phone calls from clientsduring our meal, but the server was very patient and understanding when coming by to check on us. They kept the drinks full andthe food was delicious and healthy."

"My wife and I were in Newport for three days to celebrate our 40th meeting-anniversary. My Yelp research led me to The Mooring for dinner. And I got massive husband points!! Thank you! The festive and inviting entrance let us know something good was in store for us--and we were correct! We were seated immediately, honoring our 8 p.m. reservation. I ordered a half dozen oysters-two different types. They were so fresh, tasty, and plump, that I ordered three more. My wife had little necks similarly fresh and tasty and (just ok) clam chowder. My main course was the whole roasted fish which was branzino that evening. My huge fish beurre blanc was roasted so perfectly that I felt like we were sitting on a Caribbean beach! It was THE highlight of the exquisite meal! The fingerling potatoes were wonderfully firm and seasoned. We'll take that drive from NYC again soon just to replay our memorable experiencce at The Mooring!!"

"This is a really nice wildfire location. The service is top notch. I went here recently for a meal with coworkers and they were able to accommodate our whole group. For dinner, I ordered a rib eye with fries and a glass of wine. The steak was slighlty over medium which was a bit of a let down as was the seasoning! It was kind of bland, and I expected more. The fries were ok, but nothing special. The pinot I had was good. For dessert I had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream which was amazing. Just as I remembered the last time I had it!"

"we arrived early for our reservation, but we were not up to 25 minutes after our reservation for two people. our waitress has barely checked on our table and consistently checked on a sixth top right next to us. we placed our order right at sitting and waited 35 minutes on our appetizers of brot and then did not get our main food until 2 hours after our reservation time. eating was great, but it wasn't worth waiting. it did not help the situation at all that their card machine did not work at the end of the meal, so we had to hand out our card information. overall very disappointing experience and was about to go up and down."

"It was our first time at Jamieson's and we were here for the 5lb Burger Challenge. I was doing the challenge, and my family came along to watch. The staff was really into it and really paid attention to what my wife and son needed. The good really was great, even though I did not complete the challenge. I'll definitely be going back to check out the great beer list and the unique Irish inspired dishes. My wife did have the Scotch Eggs and Irish poutine and said they were great. "Family vacation to the Dells, decided to give this place a try. Very glad we did. Best ribeye I’ve had in a long time and I eat them fairly regularly. The steak was super tender, very flavorful and perfectly prepared. Cheese curds were a nice starter and the spinach salad was very good as well. My wife enjoyed the pork schnitzel and our kids both liked their food as well (grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. If looking for a great steak in this area stop here. I would highly recommend this establishment. Update: 8/10/24 Well, came back again and have to say it’s as great as ever! Ribeye was perfect and the bone marrow butter was a very tasty addition! Calamari appetizer was light and fresh. Our table had 4 deserts, favorites were the key lime pie and the tiramisu. I’ve covered a large portion of this country and hands down, this is it. The best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Bravo Del-Bar, and thank you!"

"An overall disappointing experience at Workshop last night. All five in our party (previously fans of the restaurant) don’t plan to return here on future visits to Palm Springs. Our issues: made reservations two months ago specifically asking not to be seated at the communal table. We were seated there anyway despite our objections and showing the host the original request. poor quality of appetizers and entrees. The cooking was very sloppy (soggy, undercooked fries) and questionable technique (pickled/sous vide chicken breast). Not sure how you recover from that except just better cooks and oversight. service was slow. After being seated we weren’t greeted or given water for minutes. The waitress thanked us for being patient but blamed this on “things being really busy.” The point of reservations is to assist restaurants with resource planning, so again this points to poor management."

"We were looking for a place to celebrate my birthday and what a wonderful find! We enjoyed the steak stir fry and steak rosemary fries. Our server will was fantastic and in the background was the March madness games playing so the bar was engaged! We loved the food, the great service and the slice of cheesecake with a candle on top! Thank you Kirby House, I enjoyed the day. My family did as well. The only issue was getting in to Grand Haven because the bridge is under construction and the detour signs were not helpful."

"This place has huge potential but it’s lacking a few things. Some food items are not great, like the lobster/cod nachos, the steak tartare is also mediocre and isn’t that appealing, other things were ok. We tried the happy hour red wine and I couldn’t stomach it, it tasted like port but in wine form. I’m not a fan of port so my husband took it from me. For house wine I expect a basic profile easy to drink. Then I ordered a bottle of Sangiovese and it was kinda bitter. I mean, being a wine place you expect every wine to be perfect, regardless of price range. I would like to support our neighbourhood restaurant but they need to pick up the game. The music was not great either, it felt like being in a sports bar. I am not sure when we will go back."

"We came to Sage upon recommendation from friends that we were visiting here in Tallahassee. We were celebrating our anniversary and hoped for a wonderful experience as it was a highly recommended restaurant. From the moment we sat down and had to wait 15 minutes before the server even came to the table with water to the hour and 45 minute wait before we got our meal the experience was abysmal. There was no explanation Other than they were backed up. The restaurant wasn’t even that full yet our table and all of the tables around us were waiting for over an hour for any food to show up. The only time the manager showed up was at the end while they were serving all of the tables at the same time approximately an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes after ordering. When we complained to her that we had ordered well before any of our tables she said well I’m just trying to be transparent here we want to plate everything all at once. When the food finally arrived it was not edible. I ordered the most expensive plate on the menu which was the bone in ribeye. There was no meat in the ribeye it was pure fat and gristle. My wife’s dish was severely under cooked. Your first mistake was hiring a millennial as the manager of this restaurant. You will be losing customers left and right. It was clear that she was way out of her league and way over her head and offered no explanation of why this restaurant runs so poorly in her hands. I will never go to this place again and if this is the best that Tallahassee can offer ? Well. I guess there’s a reason why Tallahassee isn’t a culinary destination."
