"The restaurant is understated but elegant with a lovely country charm. The wait- staff is expertly trained; attentive but not cloying. The food, from the appetizer through the desert course was all expertly prepared. The roasted halibut was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had, be it in fancy NY establishments or throughout my travels in Europe; simply perfectly prepared and presented. The deserts were no less awe inspiring; simple, elegant, well balanced and beautifully presented. Do not forget the wine- the list has some very reasonably priced options with excellent choices overall. And, last but not least, even the best meal can be ruined by a lousy, sub-par cup of coffee. Here too, Baldanza did not disappoint. The coffee was rich, full bodied and actually served hot in a full sized mug and not a cheater-cup. All in all I can honestly say that I have not had a better overall meal anywhere, at any time, for any price. Bravissimo Baldanza!!"
