"We chose Bistro Soleil for our 30 th Anniversary dinner. We enjoyed Charla's (our waitress) history and knowledge of the restaurant with stories of ghosts and books flying off shelves . She gave us an adventure from the past bringing us to owner's Denis and Lisa Meurgue. She had a marvelous way to explain all of the menu items making your mouth water. We enjoyed the piano player who had quite a following of locals who sang . Wonderful entertainment. We started with Red wine ,then a Crab Cake appetizer, Mushroom soup, French Onion soup, fresh salad with homemade dressing. The Sea Bass was my husband's favorite, creamy, light, with unique flavor, the best he ever had. I agree because I tasted it too. The Bacon Wrapped Filet was delicious, with Potatoe wedges, carrots and green beens.. Saving room for Chocolate Fondant Cake and Creme Brulee was a beautiful ending to a memorable night. Thank you Bistro Soleil for one of our best memories. Mike and Jenni Cable"

very tasty! the atmosphere of a historical place and a legendary restaurant. this is not a chain restaurant, a copy of which you can find in any state near every traffic light. this is a unique place where we want to come back again. enjoy, there arevery few places like this.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at this restaurant during our week-long stay in Marco Island, and it was one of the top recommendations we received. Our experience was fantastic—the food was outstanding, and the service was flawless. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in the area. Our server, Shaun, was exceptional and made us feel welcome right from the moment we walked in.

My favorite restaurant on Marco Island and it never fails to please. Great ambiance and service and a wonderful menu to please any palate. Lisa and Denis always make you feel at home. Favorite dishes Brie en croute appetizer, rack of lamb, roastedsalmon and mussels are our favorite entrees. For our current one month stay on the island we are booked for three evenings atthe Bistro for dinner. One down and two to go. Tom Sophie View menu

We had been wanting to visit Bistro Soleil since moving to Marco last year, we tired over the summer but they were closed for the month of September. Well it was certainly worth the wait. Entering the restaurant, inside the historic Marco Inn, is liketaking a step back in time?don?t let the nondescript front door fool you, behind the doors is a unique experience. Theservice and the food harken back to a time when quality and attentiveness mattered, the menu is well curated and executedbeautifully by the chef owner. The staff is on point but not over bearing and the atmosphere is just delightful. Can?t wait togo back again.

I'm giving this a 3 stars because of the service, not the food. The food was excellent the service was pathetic. We went to a birthday celebration and our waitress was a hot mess. Forgot to bring our drinks( 30 min wait) forgot half the things we askedfor. And it wasnt because of being understaffed, they had plenty. Then our bill came and it wasn't itemized so I asked for anitemized recipt to find out we were over charged on 2 things, way overcharged. The other tables were complimenting there waitersand ours was missing most of the night. We ended up asking the other wait staff for bread, water, our bill, etc...For the pricewe paid management really needs to step up the service.

"When we arrived they put the 6 of us in a room by ourselves at a nice round table...very nice. A man came over with an apron on and started filling our water. I said Are You Our Server he replied I have an apron on, why do people always ask me if I am their server . Well, where I come from, and in GREAT restaurants THE SERVER, will introduce themselves right away. Most of the BETTER restaurants have people that fill water and bring bread etc. (Ruths Chris, Capital Grill, Eddie V 's). I then asked him his name...he said my name in SING...he then asked us if we wanted some cocktails and if the ladies wanted to get drunk.....yes that what he said...I would not lie. He was about as far from professional as you can get. We ordered our food...Bread was brought to the table...it was terrible...I asked SING if people like this bread and he said not really but the chef does.....wow what a response! We ordered food, 1 ordered Pork Chops and said they were very good, 4 of us ordered filets...1 6oz and 3 8oz... They were all very marginal in taste...truly marginal...I have had better at Texas Roadhouse thats how marginal. 1 of us ordered scallops...not good.. We ordered 2 creamed spinach sides.....NOT A DROP OF CREAM......dried up as can be...The garlic mashed were very garlic filled, the augratin were good...My buddy ordered a house cab, Sing said dont get it I have one from Caymus family thats just a little more....House is $14...his was $20...I do not call $6 a little more. Quite honestly, maybe because it 's off season and the regular staff/chef wasn 't here, but I just dont know why ANYONE would rate this place more than a 4 out of 10..... If you read my reviews, I call them as I see them....If you are great, I review you great, If you are lousy....well then you get what you deserve."
