"Now, onto the experience: I anticipated the usual, “Have you dined with us before?” from my waiter, but instead, I was immediately asked about my drink order. That was fine, but I thought an explanation of the dining process would follow after our drinks were served. Once we got our drinks and our toasting glasses, we found ourselves baffled as meat skewers began circulating around our table while my husband and I were left sitting there, unsure of what to do. I didn’t expect to have to ask for instructions in a restaurant like Fogo de Chão. We didn’t see our waiter often, and I even had to call the hostess to bring him over just to get our check. I understand it was a busy New Year's celebration, and the staff was likely caught up with other tables, but I could count on one hand the number of times the waiter approached us without prompting. When he finally returned to our table, he simply asked, “Last call, what do y’all want?” That phrase was so off-putting that at that point we only wanted the check. Additionally, we were seated at a table right near the kitchen, which created a very cramped atmosphere. My husband was bumped into by staff and other diners throughout the evening. I was surprised to discover that there were empty tables just around the corner when I went to use the restroom at the start of our reservation."

"Our family decided to received new year for first time out of home and we choose Fogo de Chao, our expectations were very high. To Start my review I gonna clarify that is was our first time in this restaurant and tge crew already know it. We open ordering drinks we all received our drink but not my bother in law, we all start eating some entrees after 20 minutes we had to asked again for the drink finally he drinks arrive 10 minutes more. At the point we begun to eat meets. We requested what and how we like the terms unfortunately just 2 of us eat medium term all the rest well done or al least medium well but unfortunately we keep getting **** terms. We had to discard 1 dish of meet because the waitress looks like are in hurry to cut and ran don't pay attention to us requesting, we arrive 11 pm for 1220 we still want to try the cuts but our table look like are the last option to show up or offer new cuts by the end of the show two of us were unsatisfied at all we still waiting for food that never arrived, by the time waitress come to pick up all the remaining dishes he drops a knife in my chest I got all dirty plus my dress. The guy just say sorry laughing 2 times wow laughing???? I have to scream please bring me a napkin rigth now this was awful, welcome dessert time they said dessert courtesy of the house wow at least something generous from them, guess what I ordered 4 dessert for 4 of us but we are 7 in total the guys never approached to other to take order it's fine we decide dont bother and just get and share 4 desserts guess what's awfully presentation special for the acai chesscake looks like they just throw it in the plate we didn't touched, one of our kids was out of dessert at all. We were attentended may around 6 different persons any of them were smiling or try to be nice just 2 of them tried to be nice but come on! we are experiencing a welcome new year and the environment wasnt great in my personal opinion by the amount we paid."

"Not impressed. The food wasn't awful; however it wasn't mind blowing. I opted to try the place out during its Lunch Buffet which is $19.99 I was under the impression that everything was included except with a limited amount of meats. Upon arrival I was told they'd only be keeping the buffet open until 3:30pm (it was a little after 3). I figured ok, I drove here already I may as well try it out. Now, as a long time foodie... I know how these type of places work; however the girl who tried turning us away didn't bother to explain. She also didn't explain that the meats were an additional charge (which is ridiculous considering that's the ONLY reason to pay that kind of price for a lunch buffet). The place had been empty and the dishes were all barely filled so I didn't eat much. The candied bacon was a joke... it was dry and had no flavor whatsoever. The meats weren't impressive at all the Picanha wasn't bad and the Gaucho was nice. The Lobster Bisque was watery... could've been good if it were creamy and not watered down. The woman... trying to rush the table... handed a check for over $70!!! That's when she said the meat portion was more. I had a problem with this and a gentleman was kind and adjusted the bill. The money wouldn't have been an issue had there been an actual dining experience, time to try enjoying it and most of all HAD IT EXPLAINED! What pissed me off more is the audacity to include a TIP on a bill at 20% when the waitress did absolutely NOTHING. Needless to say we will never be returning. Considering my reach and relationships with other restaurateurs across the country I would've rather had a great experience and felt comfortable referring people there. It's a shame I had high hopes."
