"The experience that I had during the first time ever going here was enough to never return and to mention to people that I know that they should avoid spending money there. I went in there on a Wednesday morning on my way to the beach. First off, they were looking at me like I was ordering something completely out of the ordinary or an item that was not on the menu. I looked past that and proceeded to order one of their entire calzones/ham loaf, and requested that it be cut into thirds. The man looked confused, left for a moment, and then told me that they could not cut it for me. I thought it was strange and let it go initially, but thought to myself “why on earth would they not be able to cut it for me? Especially if I am buying the whole loaf?”…furthermore, I was going to the beach and would not have a way to cut it, so having it cut was essential since this was being shared by multiple people. So I asked “May I ask,..why can’t you cut it?” and he told me he didn’t know. That was bizarre. Not only did he not cut it, he couldn’t explain to me why NO ONE could cut it for me. Annoyed, I asked for a plastic knife so that I could cut it myself and he looked around and didn’t answer so I saw a bucket of plastic utensils near the napkins and grabbed one. I was still annoyed that I would have to cut it, without a plate, but that was fine; however, I couldn’t let it go because it made no sense to me. I asked “you mean to tell me you don’t have any knives back there?” And he said “yes, but I don’t know that we can give it to you”…so I explained that I obviously didn’t want their knives, rather, just wanted them to do the courtesy of cutting the loaf that I was purchasing. It was a normal request, especially at a bakery. I then went towards the register to try to talk to someone with answers and was essentially dismissed by the heavyset blonde woman that came from the back and told me “we don’t cut them during the week. I don’t know. It’s their policy”. She then walked away, and left me standing there. She didn’t go do anything in particular, just, walked to get away from me. No one else behind the counter made eye contact with me and just avoided helping me. I went to the register, where they had packed the uncut calzone and we decided to just go next door to Stop Shop. It was a bad experience for no reason, and the staff had everything to do with it. I don’t believe that their policy is to not cut a loaf…if the customer is purchasing the whole loaf. Perhaps, they don’t cut it and sell it individually, I could see that. However, the dismissive nature of the staff, and the fact that they could not make a simple accommodation really resulted in a bad customer experience, left a bad impression of the business and its staff, and resulted in me wondering what their motive could have been to treat me like a customer that does not matter. Whether or not they care about having me as a customer, I don’t wish their business success if this is how they handle customers. First impressions matter, and so does every individual customer touchpoint."

"If I could give a negative rating, I would!! I was in there this past Saturday night with a group of friends for my birthday....it wasn 't too busy when we got there. While standing at the bar getting drinks, there was an extremely drunk man who was not with my group he was all over my friends and would not stop harassing them (side note, some of these friends are also males, who are well over 6 feet tall, and very well able to defend themselves). This drunken man was trying to start a fight, while my friends were just trying to get away and avoid the situation. I told one of the bouncers AND a bartender that they needed to get him out before something happened, but they did not seem to be bothered at all. Everyone standing at the bar was watching the situation and knew what was going on, but the staff still did not care. Fast forward to about 30 minutes later, the guy actually DID start a fight, and while I was standing with my group minding my own business, one of the bouncers pushed the guy, which caused him and the bouncer to be slammed into me, hitting me in the jaw, and almost knocking me to the ground. I said something to the bouncers afterward, whom clearly did not care at all, and responded with sorry I don 't know what to tell you. Seriously, do a better job before someone gets seriously injured or it leads to a shooting or stabbing. As a Greensboro native, I am so disappointed with the safety of the community."
