"I was disappointed with my experience at the restaurant. They forgot to include the biscuit in the Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich, the scrambled eggs were overcooked, and the sausage was unappetizing. The caramel latte lacked flavor; there was just a little drizzle of caramel on top of the whipped cream, but none mixed into the latte itself—I'm not sure that qualifies as a caramel latte. To make matters worse, the cup wasn't even filled to the top. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place."

"Some members of our group ordered a customizable breakfast platter, which was supposed to include eggs cooked to order, a selection of ham, bacon, and sausage, a side of our choice, biscuits, and gravy. However, when the platters were served, we only received biscuits and a small bowl of gravy. The menu stated that each person would get a small bowl of gravy, so when we brought this up to the waitress, she brushed off our concerns. We explained that back in Tennessee and Pennsylvania, it’s customary to receive a small bowl of gravy with the platter, but the waitress insisted that this wasn’t the case. Only one person in our group ended up getting gravy while the rest of us went without. The waitress hardly checked on us, returning only once to ask if I wanted more coffee, without extending the offer to the rest of the table. I’m glad to be leaving Florida, as it seems to have some of the rudest restaurant staff I’ve encountered."

"Absolutely the worst! Save your money and seriously upgrade your dining experts at MCD! Waitress brings biscuits and corn muffins. No butter, no jelly, no silverware, so we ask for these things. Then she brings food about five minutes later. Pancakes for me, French toast for the wife. No silverware, no butter, no syrup, no milk. We ask the waitress again for silverware and the other missing items (BTW the food is already cold when she brought it out), after 5 minutes and no waitress, I and get the manager. By the time he shows up and we walk back to the table (about 3 more minutes) there still is no silverware or any of the other items. He says he'll look into it. About 3 minutes long and he and the waitress bring us silverware (still no butter, no syrup. The food is ice cold by now. No apologies, no discounts, nothing. Don't eat there, the are horrible!!! It wasn't even busy and they had staff standing around doing nothing. I will never go back to this one!"

"The food was excellent, and there was a wonderful variety of options to choose from. Our only complaint was that our server seemed overwhelmed; we had two separate bills, and another waitress was always available to assist us, while ours was hard to locate, even when we needed to make requests. Nevertheless, my family really enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the charming decor with its impressive wall art. Cracker Barrel is definitely worth a visit at least once in your life. The food is so good that you'll want to enjoy it any time of the day!"

"We had an outstanding dining experience with delicious food and exceptional service. Our table was promptly seated, and our meals arrived in under ten minutes. "We stopped here in the middle of a long drive hoping to have a nice meal and stretch our legs. The server was at our table for about 30 seconds the entire time we dined there. She never smiled and didn’t make eye contact. She never welcomed us- the first thing she said was “So do you know what you want or…” She brought our kids meal in a to-go container tied up in a bag, our kiddo had no utensils with which to eat. The service was atrocious, 2 starts given because the restaurant and clean and the food itself tasted good."

"We went September 1, 2022. Our Hostess Kelly was not friendly and blatantly rude. We asked to sit in the back area, she said no . We then asked to be seated by the window. Again she replied no . We asked why not and was finally permitted the window seating. Moments later she sat a couple in the area we originally asked for. ? Half hour later she sat a couple behind us. She was rude to them too.. Our server Teresca was very friendly and helpful. She saved the dinner. Checking out I was number 6 in line. Only one person working the counter. Many people we purchasing trinkets etc that added much additional time. A lady if front of me asked her to get help. She did call but no one came to assist. I turned around and counted 6 more people behind me. They were lined up close to the restroom door area. We typically come there often and have for many years. "Overall, the food was quite enjoyable. The grits had a casual texture, almost like a soup, while the main dish was thicker. The service was outstanding! My server, Tommy, was exceptional—he promptly refilled my lemonade as soon as I finished, without me having to ask. He recommended the toast instead of the biscuits, and it turned out to be the best part of my meal; it was similar to Texas toast, perfectly toasted on both sides! However, the cashiers were incredibly slow. After waiting in line for some time, I ended up downloading the Cracker Barrel app to settle my bill, even though there were still four people ahead of me."

"I'm not sure why this Cracker Barrel has lower stars, because I've never had a bad experience here. It's my go to place for a really good breakfast, you can't beat the prices. And tonight, I was needing to just order some quick takeout, so I placed an online order. My meal was brought out to my car within 10min, nice warm, they even threw in a cup of ice cream that I didn't even order. These days, it's really nice getting some quality customer service along with great food."

"The worst dining experience I have had in years occurred at the Meadville Cracker Barrel. We stopped on our way back from Erie since it was conveniently located off the exit. We scheduled our spot in line, but that was the only thing that went smoothly. After being seated, we waited over 10 minutes for a waitress to take our order, which was understandable given the busyness of the restaurant. However, things took a turn for the worse when another couple seated next to us received their drinks and food before us, despite ordering after us. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for our drinks and food, we ultimately decided to leave. I have never experienced such poor service and would advise travelers to avoid this place and choose elsewhere to dine."

"This location is hit or miss. I used to work here over 10 years ago and back then staff was held to a much higher standard. For instance we were trained to greet our tables within the fist minute they arrived. My fiance and I juat sat for over 10 minutes without anyone coming to us and tables were sat and served around us, the restaurantwas not busy by any standards. We eventually got frustrated got up and left. When I worked there you had to wear black or khaki pants and now all i see is servers wearing jeans and sneakers. This location used to be held to a high standard and was one of the top stores in the country it seems management or lack there of is the issue now. I hope they make the necessary changes to bring this location to its former glory."

"My husband and I just visited the Cracker Barrel in Dickson, TN, and we had a fantastic meal! Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress, Micheal, was extremely polite and friendly, and she was also training a new young man, who showed great potential. They both did an excellent job keeping our drinks full and checking in on us to see how our meal was going. I feel sorry for those who had a negative experience, but ours was absolutely wonderful. "This site trains a lot of managers to be. They lack the dedication to this site to make it an excellent restaurant. Food arrives luke warm and sometimes cold. Plates wait while staff is on break. Staff talk with plates in hand while food gets cold. No one ever gets the order correct and brings everything the first time. Always a wait. Butter for Biscuits or toast comes so cold it is not spreadable. Back kitchen is filthy. Continues to worsen. Food tastes spoiled, sour, moldy. Tried the Sellersburg C B again after almost a year. Much improved. Clean, painted, dusty antiques removed from overhead. Improved service but the coffee may still be cool. Shortened menu, it's ok, a lot of favorites are gone but that's ok. New items are good."

"This place is no longer what it used to be. When we were seated, our table was covered in old food crumbs from previous customers, and there was spilled soda under our table that hadn't been cleaned up. Our waitress never came to take our order. After about 30 minutes, someone else finally came to assist us. It then took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and it was cold, as if it had been left forgotten in the back. I wasn’t planning to write a review, but this was our third consecutive disappointing experience here."

"I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and also dined in. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined over the past year. The steak I ordered for $33 was incredibly dry and the potatoes were overcooked. Another time, I tried the chicken tenders and they were also very dry. This restaurant has been a disappointment as the food and service were much better in the past. It used to be kid-friendly, but not anymore. The service and food quality both received a rating of 1 out of 5, however the atmosphere was pleasant with a rating of 5. I recommend trying the mashed potatoes."

"So we have been going here for the last four years and have usually been very pleased.Lately though there have been a few glitches; once there was no jam because of the cargo boat issue or so we were told. Today there were no fries, same excuse. My husband ordered lemon pepper rainbow fish but he said it didn’t taste right. After mentioning it to the server three times, she finally admitted they didn’t have lemon pepper seasoning and had used a different one! The Mac and cheese was was very watery too! He then asked for southern fried chicken which took so long to come out, he had to take it home.Since we waited so long for his second choice meal, we had time to look around and look at our other meals. My sons grilled catfish tasted lemony but she said there was no lemon seasoning ??‍. Biscuits were strangely shaped see pic) and we looked at extremely dirty air vents and ducts pic) .We left very disappointed and will wait a while to return."

"I ordered the shrimp with hush puppies. My husband ordered the fried chicken and the waiter came back and said that they could not cook that at that time of night, it was just after 8pm. He ordered the chicken fried chicken. We got our food in around 5 minutes. His was ok, but my shrimp and hush puppies were dark and looked like they had been in a warming tray all afternoon. I think that they dumped all the leftovers from the day on my plate. I could not even finish it! There were others that came in after we did, but it seemed that everyone was more interested in going home than giving a customer a good experience. We do not have a Cracker Barrel close to us and we used to look forward to vacation so we can go to one. Not anymore, On our way home we avoided going to them even though we were looking at one out our hotel window! Literally left a bad taste in my mouth and we will NOT go back. Biscuits and corn muffins are not good anymore either. Not worth the money at all."

"I was placing a to go order in person. Waited at least 10 minutes before a server waited on me. I wanted a family meal but after waiting again was told it had to be placed online. I then ordered 2 of the same meal (country fried steak) but ordered different sides. After waiting another 20 30 minutes, I received my order which was incorrect. I received 1 country fried steak with green beans, mac n cheese, and fried apples (ordered fried okra) and 1 country fried chicken with green beans, mac n cheese, and pinto beans (correct vegetables). I also wanted biscuits with both orders, but they only had 2 biscuits, so cornbread was substituted. If this was my first experience at a Cracker Barrel, I would never go back. However, the food we received was excellent. Total time at the restaurant was over 1 hour to get 2 carryout meals."
