"I ordered the shrimp with hush puppies. My husband ordered the fried chicken and the waiter came back and said that they could not cook that at that time of night, it was just after 8pm. He ordered the chicken fried chicken. We got our food in around 5 minutes. His was ok, but my shrimp and hush puppies were dark and looked like they had been in a warming tray all afternoon. I think that they dumped all the leftovers from the day on my plate. I could not even finish it! There were others that came in after we did, but it seemed that everyone was more interested in going home than giving a customer a good experience. We do not have a Cracker Barrel close to us and we used to look forward to vacation so we can go to one. Not anymore, On our way home we avoided going to them even though we were looking at one out our hotel window! Literally left a bad taste in my mouth and we will NOT go back. Biscuits and corn muffins are not good anymore either. Not worth the money at all."

My wife and I enjoyed the meatloaf lunch special, and it was delicious with fantastic flavor. The mashed potatoes with gravy and fried okra were also a real treat—so good! The service was outstanding; despite the restaurant being a bit busy, we only waited about five minutes. The staff were friendly and attentive. We always love the excellent home-cooked meals here and have never experienced any issues or bad food. And make sure to order extra biscuits and cornbread muffins—they're a must-have! As for accessibility, there is a wheelchair access at the front entrance.

It had been 15 years since I had visited a Cracker Barrel and it looks like i will be keeping that choice of not eating here. When we visited it was busy and we ordered a sirloin steak and fried chicken both with house salads. I like my salads early like an appetizer so my food is still warm. The salad came out with the food and the wrong dressing so our food began to cool while we waited for the correct dressing.
