"My wife I are fairly new to the area and we were looking for a place for dinner as we celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. We had heard about Finn's from a family member from the area. The restaurant looked awesome, beautiful inside. The dinner salad was great, however each of the dinners we ordered (meatloaf, salmon snapper) were all severely over cooked. The meatloaf was uneatable it was so overcooked. Service was incredibly slow, especially for a Tuesday night as we had been seated for right at an hour when we first received our salads. The truth is, for the price, the food was very subprime... not what we expected. My recommendation would be to get a new chef before they take you down. One positive, when we told them the meatloaf was terrible, they comped the meal and added a dessert. We would have preferred they cooked the meals appropriately. We weren't looking for a free meal. Until they replace their cook, I would not recommend."

One of the highlights of my business trips to Joplin is the opportunity to eat at Finn's. This place is a true local treasure, not part of any chain. The staff is made up of local residents who consistently serve excellent food. I highly recommend it! View menu

I hosted an event for about 45 people at this restaurant, and the experience was excellent! The service was top-notch, and the staff, including the General Manager, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything was well organized and arranged. I highly recommend this place! The waitress wasn't as attentive as I had expected for a high-end restaurant. It took her 20 minutes to take our order after we finished our appetizer, and we had to remind her that we hadn't ordered yet. She didn't apologize or acknowledge the oversight. The cheesy stuffed chicken was overly salty, and I couldn’t finish it. However, the salmon Wellington was delicious, and the bang bang chicken always impresses.

Incredible service, delicious food, fantastic drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere! Although it was a bit chilly, we brought our Aussie pup and sat outside by a heater. The staff was kind enough to offer us a blanket and water for our dog. I tried the color-changing margarita, and it was amazing—I ended up having two! Absolutely amazing! I discovered this restaurant through a quick Google search for 4+ star eateries in Joplin after wrapping up a meeting. It’s named after the owner’s dog, and they even have a special menu for dogs! You can bring your furry friends along and enjoy the lovely outdoor patio. The food was exceptional! I can't emphasize enough how great it was, and we definitely plan to return with our pups! By the way, Tessla was a fantastic server. We really adored her!

Was met at the door by a beautiful young lady who was not concerned at all that I didn't have a reservation. Set us at a perfect table. We had the stuffed mushrooms that were sooo good. The bread was great, the salad was fresh and tasted so good. Our steaks were so good. Everything was perfect and our server,Austin did a wonderful job. He was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. He made sure we knew that he was there if we needed anything. Absolutely perfect.
