Crispy, golden fried chicken with juicy, tender meat inside, seasoned to perfection for mouthwatering flavor.

"I'm really only giving Fountainhead three stars due to a decent experience downstairs. Upstairs probably deserves a one or two star rating. We came to Fountainhead on a whim as it was on of the first nice days in a while. We were quoted a 1 hour wait for the rooftop, which was expected, given the fact that it was dinner time and a beautiful night. We decided to get an appetizer and a drink downstairs during the wait. We were seated at the bar and both bartenders were fantastic! They were attentive to our needs and were friendly. We went with the cheese curds, which was probably the best thing I ate that night. Lucky for us, the one hour wait ended up being more like 35 minutes. This is where the night took a turn for the worse. The other reviews were spot on that the service on the rooftop was HORRIBLE. Literally some of the worst I have seen. It took almost 20 min to order and get our first drink (I ordered a vodka/soda and my husband a beer). The waitress didn't even take our food order after she dropped our drinks off. Another 20 minutes later, we managed to place our order. I got the fried chicken and my husband ordered the shrimp roll. The food took another 30 or 40 minutes before we finally received it. You could tell it was ready a while before it was dropped at the table because it was already cold when we got it. The chicken was average at best and the Mac and cheese was flavorless. It took us another 30 minutes to flag our waitress for a second drink and our check. She eventually dropped both off but then never came by to cash us out. I think after 20 minutes of waiting, we finally gave up and walked to the bar to pay our tab. She did finally stop by to ask us how we were doing, but never once apologized for the wait. If we come back here, I really hope it's not the same experience."

"I my husband took me to this restaurant in Geneva for my birthday,. It’s a fabulous restaurant! Our server, Michelle, brought us complimentary glasses of champagne for my birthday. She also made great recommendations and was on top of everything. The other staff who delivered food, cleared plates and filled glasses were on top of everything as well. Good service really adds to the dining experience. My husband had a bourbon and I had a bourbon cocktail called The Brown Derby after the bubbly. Niche has quite an extensive bourbon collection. We started out with the goat cheese waffle with short rib marmalade small plate. So creative and full of flavor. For dinner I ordered the black cod with couscous and Tim ordered the ribeye special, but we decided to share our entrees. Both the fish and steak were cooked perfectly and delicious. The steak, especially had such a great flavor. We ended the meal with a coconut basque cheesecake for dessert … before we knew that Michelle was surprising me with a cotton candy birthday treat. So nice! The cotton candy is on the menu as an all you can eat dessert! Yes, please! From start to finish, it was a great dining experience at Niche and the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I’ve been to Farmers Distillers numerous times and some were not so good. This was definitely the worst experience. It took more than 5 minutes for the host to come to the host stand and seat a party that was there before us and then us. When we were seated it took another 5-10mins for the waiter to come and greet us. After which he didn’t seem to be too familiar with what was available. We were told they were waiting on a shipment. It would have been great if we’d been informed what was not available on the menu before we made our selections. We opted to just leave instead of the multiple substitutions that would have been necessary. When informing the host of our departure he was incredibly nonchalant about the whole thing. Overall; this was the most disappointing experience and it seems F D has really struck out."

"The good: Beautiful space and deco and outstanding cocktails The bad: Service was very slow, seemed to have wait staff overextended. Server was nice and attentive when she was at the table, but had too many tables with larger parties. Not her fault at all. The average: Appetizers were not good, we tried three options. All disappointing. The meatballs were terrible, VERY dry. Entrees were good to average. Not really worthy the price. Would have liked to try dessert, but meal took too long and have to leave for another distillery tour. My advice, skip the restaurant and just have drinks at the bar."

"Food I am so happy that I found another five-star restaurant. The food was top notch. We had oysters, pop over and fried calamari as starters. The oysters were so fresh that I did not want to stop eating them. The pop over was something we went back and forth if we should order. It looked like a muffin and we were afraid it might be too much. We asked the waiter for advice and he said it is very light. You know what? The top over is a must try. It is almost like a balloon and tastes amazing with some butter on it. The fried calamari didn’t disappoint as well. For main course, we ordered lobster spaghetti and fried chicken. Both of them were very flavourful and the portion was generous. At that point, we were too full to order any desserts. Everything else The service was fabulous. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good advice on the menu. During the dinner, I knocked down my cocktail, and they quickly came over to clean it and gave me a new one. I will definitely go back."

"Pretty hard to have a bad experience when Chandler and Misty take care of you! Liz is another great one for ensuring the perfect evening. The entire Team works well together. The Chef prepared delicious elk chops and beef tenderloin to our requested temps. We often try to eat on the healthier side, avoiding sauces, etc. No matter what we ask of them, the Team gets it right! I also had an opportunity to try their soup of the day which was mushroom-based and it was one of the best things I’ve tasted in a long time. Kudos to the entire team! Thanks for making our anniversary dinner so enjoyable!"

"Service was very slow. Ordered a Brut Rose and had to ask three times for an ice bucket. Food was good. Too much time between courses (surprising for me as usually I?m the one that needs extra time to finish each course). For the price, however, you can have a much better meal at other restaurants. Our server was cordial but multiple times went past our table without checking on us and took an unusual amount of time to pick up the check with the credit card and process it. Overall it was not a great experience."

"I ordered soul food from this restaurant and got a lemonade, two fried pork chops with macaroni and yams, and a brownie. The lemonade was delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The brownie was tasty, although I could have done without the frosting on top. It was even better when warmed up in the microwave. The pork chops were fantastic - cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I requested white bread to make a sandwich with my pork chops, but they only gave me two slices. I wish I had received more."

"I recently dined at a well-known restaurant that typically receives high praise, but was disappointed with my experience at Frank's Outback. I ordered marinated salmon and Chinese-style sweet, but what I received was a dry salmon finger and overcooked, mushy broccoli. My wife ordered fried oysters, which were tough and did not taste like oysters should. The service was lacking as well, with loud young patrons nearby who appeared to be intoxicated. The staff did not seem to discourage their disruptive behavior, likely in hopes of receiving a generous tip. Overall, I found the restaurant to be overrated and will not be returning in the future."

"I ordered mongolian beef dinner. Says on menu comes with fried rice and egg roll. I order 1 extra eggroll. Menu shows 9.95. I paid 17.91. I asked the young guy and he was too busy on phone (cell phone). I got home and called him. Same young guy. He quoted mee 11.98 with extra eggroll. WHAT?? So did he pocket my extra money? I will never go back again. You can't cheat people. Don't waste your time people. Egg rolls have changed. I understand consumer takes the increase but not by ripoff. See ya bye."

"I want to start by saying that this restaurant is both beautiful and comfortable, making for a pleasant atmosphere, especially during a quiet late lunch. The service staff is outstanding, and they have some unique specialties that are quite enjoyable, particularly the sodas. Some of the classics, like the cornbread, were also really nice. However, I was quite surprised to receive a sandwich that seemed unfit to leave the kitchen. I considered sending it back, but we were pressed for time, and it wasn't a feasible option. As a result, I had to make do with what I could. Unfortunately, the white bread tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out in the open air or in the fridge for far too long—almost like styrofoam. I hate to say this, but it felt like the sandwich was simply taken from a package and placed on my plate. I've had better sandwiches provided in self-serve sections at museums. This meal truly fell short and reflected poorly on the kitchen."
"I recently visited this restaurant for breakfast/brunch and was impressed with the variety of food options available for those with dietary restrictions. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the rest of the meal was enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and our server was attentive and professional. The portions were generous and the coffee was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for a leisurely brunch or breakfast when you want to take your time and enjoy a nice meal in the morning."

"This is my hands-down, favorite place I 've ever had vegan Chinese. Their Kung Pao chicken is to die for, as is everything else I 've ever tried. I have to admit, I tend to get the same things when I eat here because I love them so much (the Fried Chicken Legs, served with sweet chili sauce, are amazing) but their vegan menu is very extensive, offering everything from Sweet and Sour Shrimp to General Tso 's Chicken. The staff is very friendly and the service is super fast. Portion sizes are excellent as well, and you 're given the choice of either white or brown rice which I like. I 've brought non-veg friends here and they said their dishes were great as well. Highly recommended!"

"Disappointing maybe it was an off night but the hostess ignored us, the waiter seemed friendly and like he was trying to help us, but he misunderstood our orders and then blamed us, and there was no apology We instead tried to accommodate his mistakes by eating or adding to his miscommunication dishes. Also the menu prices were not what is listed on Open Table all prices were hand written at a few dollars more for almost every dish from what i saw online... While the chicken and vegetables appeared to be of high quality we still would have appreciated getting what we actually ordered, for those prices. Veggie dumplings flavorless and spring rolls very doughy. Even if this was their last 2 hours of service they should not take OpenTable reservations if they are not able to keep service up to par. (They even turned off the AC before closing time to get us to leave, as if we were not leaving as fast as we could already."

"Picture a hostile, velvet rope-wielding, shallow meathead bouncer you might find at a nightclub in Miami or LA. Now imagine that same attitude in a petite 5’3’’ woman with a prominent nose ring - that’s what you’ll encounter at Alembic. I understand the need to keep a clear path for serving tables and to maintain a certain atmosphere, but there’s a way to do it with grace. Unfortunately, the hostess at Alembic ruined a friend’s party by implementing an absurd door policy. Leaving a guest outside without her coat because the bar was supposedly full (on a Tuesday night) is just unacceptable. Despite the delicious food and impressive selection of Bourbon and Scotch, the unpleasant attitude knocks this place down to one star in my opinion."

"I can't believe I didn't know about this place before! They serve delicious classic Chicago Italian food. For just $24, you get a generous portion of pasta or meat, along with salad, soup, and bread for the table. They have a great selection of wines to choose from. The service is friendly and fun, and the atmosphere has a family vibe. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. They offer vegetarian options like eggplant parm and cheese ravioli with marinara sauce. The noise level is just right for kids, and they offer kid-friendly foods like pizza and spaghetti. They also accommodate dietary restrictions with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available."

"It’s a diner. I hold a bias against diners. A lot of food, not a lot of quality. I have been here twice and will likely go back. Not because of the atmosphere, service, or food, nope it is a diner, and it smells and feels like one. I’m sure you know what I mean. 60-year vintage diner furniture, smell of burned oil and “oldness.” I’ll go back, mainly because the crew likes diners and sometimes you don’t get your way. The place is cleanish (it’s a diner), the service is good, and the food is better than I expected."
