"Fairly small place, but even though they were short on help at that time, the lady working (the only one in front) was phenomenal. She handled everything without showing stress. Food was awesome. Onion Rings were like from home Chipolte Black Bean Burger was the best I have ever had. My husband's sandwich was excellent. We will definitely keep that on our radar whenever we are in the area. Vegetarian options: I try to do vegetarian as much as I can and I had a hard time until I say the Chipotle Black bean burger."

"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was! My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers. Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. It's hard to go wrong with a patty melt but it was delicious none-the-less. We ordered it medium-cooked and it turned out perfectly. The Tabouli was something we have never had before - it was basically like salsa without the sauce, a very interesting side dish that wasn't quite up to our expectations. As for the South City Chicken, talk about a spicy succulence! The chicken was cooked very well and wasn't too thick or thin of a breast. It was covered in Pepper Jack cheese and salsa, giving it a very hot flavor that made my mouth water. I had them leave off the avocado since I'm not a huge fan, so that might have balanced out the zesty flavor a bit more. And of course the Pub Fries were super good - a delicious flavor, cooked just right and not too greasy. At the end, we had enough room in our stomachs for one of their decadent desserts: White Chocolate Chip Brownie served a la mode. The brownie came out very soft but not gooey and was super warm. The right amount of vanilla ice cream was placed on top, followed by a good amount of chocolate fudge dripped over the dessert with a fresh strawberry as extra. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and all the food and drinks came so fast - very little wait time. It was a cozy place to eat with the lights dimmed. All in all, a most fabulous place to eat! We will definitely go back again!!"

"Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water."

"There wasn't anything we tried that we didn't like! Don't go to Mickey Mantle's if you're in a hurry though. Our reservation was at 7 and we didn't tab out until 9:45, and that wasn't because we were lingering. The experience is meant to be just that, an experience. I also wouldn't go if you're expecting some cheap options. Everything is pricey but everything we ordered was worth it. The drink menu is well rounded, with something for everyone and a delicious Pinot Grigio. The crab claw appetizer had the biggest crab claws we'd ever had and most delicious hot scampi sauce that was perfect with the warm bread they serve. Our steaks were gorgeously displayed and cooked to the most perfect medium rare. The large portioned lobster macaroni was above and beyond. The cookie skillet was warm and savory and topped with an ice cream scoop that could feed four people. We left stuffed and satisfied! We were celebrating our anniversary when we went and were so taken aback by how much they did for us. More than any other restaurant, by far. We were given a complementary dessert, our photo was taken and printed, and then they even put it in an envelope with $15 off for next time. In addition, I can't tell you how many workers wished us a happy anniversary. It was the best experience and one that we hope to make a tradition!"

"We enjoyed our experience so much that we went back today, but what a difference! Even though I ordered the same items, it took almost 30 minutes to get our food this time. The green beans were not hot, the fries were limp despite my request for crispy, and the shrimp tasted overcooked and overly salty. The green beans were tough too. When I asked about my roll, they told me I wasn’t supposed to get one, even though I received one during my last visit. They did eventually give me one after I showed them a picture of my meal with it. Today was such a disappointment after our fantastic experience last week. Last time, everything — the shrimp, chicken, and green beans — was excellent, but not so much today."

"The food we ordered was good (once we got the right order . They don't serve any big meals like a larger diner or restaurant. It's mostly bar food and fries (lots and lots of fries! They served me a meal that wasn't what was ordered or even close. They did eventually make it right but it was a good while after the rest of our group was served and eating. "I brought my family to Tavern on the Square for my daughters birthday. We typically go to the Littleton MA restaurant but decided to try the Shrewsbury location. We have gluten allergies in the family so this restaurant is a favorite treat for the family. However, this time the restaurant fell short of our expectations. The food took much too long to come out, and my daughters meal wasn't what she ordered. She decided to eat it anyway so we wouldn't have to wait for another meal. Also, the noise level was super high and the quality of the rest of our meals were not what we typically experience at the Littleton location. I was disappointed, but we made the best of a night out. Sorry Shrewsbury, we won't be back."

"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. "We’ve walked by this place a few times and wanted to give it a try. I grew up in the south and miss the food sooo much. With that being said, I think they missed the mark. I know it’s supposed to be a twist on southern food but we didn’t really enjoy any of it. We ordered cornbread for my son and it was stale, seemed like it was old and had just been heated up. Was not fresh. Sent it back immediately. Ended up getting the guacamole which I thought was expensive for the portion you get $15 (see photo) The Cajun Mac n cheese would have been ok but it was salty. The nachos were nachos. The dirty rice wasn’t really dirty rice. It was ok though. The drinks, server and bartender were great. For the price I expected the quality of food to be better. Mostly disappointed in the cornbread."

"The Ruben was fantastic. My friend tried the Parmesan Wings with Blue Cheese and I have to say, that Blue Cheese was the best I've ever tasted. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. "This Uniontown Sheetz seriously messed up my order during a road trip about four hours away on the interstate. They almost didn’t give me my milkshake, even though it was the last item still waiting. When I asked about it, the woman seemed surprised there was a milkshake sitting on the counter and had to ask an indifferent team member who made it and if it belonged to a specific order. A quick check of our bag seemed fine at first, but once we were back on the interstate, I realized my chicken wraps didn’t have any chicken, and my boyfriend’s fries order was incomplete—we ordered two but only received one. It was tough trying to get a refund for these missing items. If Sheetz doesn’t resolve this, I won’t be coming back. I’ll take my business elsewhere where they actually fix their mistakes."

"I'm not sure what's happening with their brunch service, but they really need to improve. The place was barely busy—only one other table occupied while we were there—but it still took an incredibly long time for our food to arrive. The server/bartender was fantastic, but the kitchen seemed to be struggling. When our food finally came, it was disappointing and had some mistakes. It's strange because my only other experience there was at dinner, and that meal was delicious and served at a normal pace."

"I miss the old Sheetz restaurant down the road! I ordered a chicken wrap with extra chicken and extra cheese from their menu, but what I received was disappointing. The toppings were sparse, and the wait was long. The other food I tried was also not great. I know Sheetz is a gas station and people often say the food is good, but my experience was terrible. The old Sheetz used to get it right—extra chicken meant more than just a few tiny chicken tenders."
