"Great Bistro brings to mind the delightful cafés you might stumble upon in Europe. The coffee is excellent, with regular brewed options served from thermocarafes. The bakery case features fresh bagels and tempting cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed a grilled corned beef sandwich alongside a Greek salad, which made for a perfect light lunch for two. There are also pre-packaged items available in coolers for those on the go. The ambiance is incredibly comfortable, ideal for conversations, working on your laptop, or simply people-watching. Hats off to this well-managed establishment!"

"Since the name change—possibly due to a change in ownership—this place has really declined. The restaurant section is no longer open, so they don't offer sandwiches, burgers, or salads anymore; it's just baked goods now. There are no restrooms or seating available for customers, and the charm that the place once had is gone. The atmosphere feels like it's always under construction. There are two tables, but even when they were empty, I was told I couldn't sit there because they're reserved for customers ordering cakes. The cakes and cookies still look appealing, so the baker must still be the same. However, you'll find a much more welcoming environment at a place like Some Crust, where there’s a seating area, delicious bakery items, and a bright atmosphere, complete with custom cakes, sandwiches, and salads."

"What a fantastic spot for breakfast! Located right by the water in a welcoming neighborhood, the atmosphere is vibrant, with everyone enjoying life under the sunshine and watching the palm trees sway in the breeze. "My family and I came in July 4th around 9am. At the time there was another couple present so the restaurant was vacant. My family of 5 ordered 3 cappuccino and one American coffee with cream. My grandma's American coffee came with as much foam as our cappuccinos so clearly something was missed. I ordered a Colombian breakfast with the added sausage which is extra(though it appears as is on the menu)$19. My wife a venuzelian breakfast and my grandma and mother in law America breakfasts. Honestly at $12+ for their American breakfast which consisted of 3 eggs,ham,two slices of small toast it seemed like a robbery. In truth I seemed to be the only one in the table that enjoyed the food for its price. These four plates plus my son's chicken nuggets came out to $110 which includes the 18% automatic gratitude Later in the day we bought groceries through uber eats for literally 3 dollars more. Knowing what I know now I will wait to go back to Miami to enjoy Latin food before I step back into this place."

"I used to frequent this bakery for their desserts, but in the last 6-7 months, the quality of their fruit-based desserts has become inconsistent. My latest purchase was disappointing. I ordered a coconut cake and a strawberry cake, tipped 20%, and spent about $15. When I got home, I found that the coconut cake was dry as usual, but the strawberry cake tasted rancid. I contacted the bakery about the issue but received no response. This lack of customer service is concerning. In the past, I had to return a multi-fruit tart because it tasted off, and the staff was unhelpful. I hope the bakery takes steps to improve the quality of their desserts and customer service."

"This is the cutest little little cafe that is bursting with fresh pastry, sandwiches and assorted treats. They have espresso drinks along with other choices. Seating is limited, but that's ok since this place is more a one stop before your day's activities. Like their name suggests, grab some things for a wonderful picnic later. "The food was delicious, but the restaurant was understaffed leading to poor service. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to order a drink, although the lack of customers meant we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to bring out bread and olive oil, and the bread was served cold. Overall, the long wait times and lackluster service made the experience not worth it."

"I've only tried their sugar-free offerings, and they were delicious! The cake required a preorder, but that was fine; they just needed 24 hours' notice. There were plenty of options, so I didn't feel limited. The pastries were great, with no aftertaste and a regular size—not tiny just because they're specially made. My only complaint is that the sugar-free cheesecake was a bit crumbly and not very smooth, while the filling of the sugar-free cannoli was gritty instead of smooth. I assume this is because sweeteners don't melt the same way sugar does. Nevertheless, that didn't stop me from enjoying both the cheesecake and the cannolis!"

"Pennyhouse Cafe has the best coffee on Washington Ave!!! Best breakfast sandwiches around!!! I had the hummus burger on a bed of mesclun for me and my co-worker. The customer service is amazing!!! "I have been here many times for delicious cream puffs, eclairs, baklava, and more in the past. I haven’t purchased a custom cake from here until today. I wasnt sure if they could make my cake last minute but I took a chance and asked. I wanted a custom Cocomelon cake with minimal fondant. I asked the bakers to be creative because I know I am lacking in that department. They did NOT disappoint and I was blown away by my cake. They were able to make it in one day and it was ready for me to pick up. Wonderful service and they did everything I wanted. Everyone inhaled the Biscoff cookie and cream cake. Family and friends are already asking me for the shop name and were blown away by the flavor. This cake and the price is better than any cake I have purchased custom in the past. I was so excited to share with my friends and family. They are also surprised by the price and the design/flavor. This is my new official bakery for all custom cakes."
