"Great Bistro brings to mind the delightful cafés you might stumble upon in Europe. The coffee is excellent, with regular brewed options served from thermocarafes. The bakery case features fresh bagels and tempting cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed a grilled corned beef sandwich alongside a Greek salad, which made for a perfect light lunch for two. There are also pre-packaged items available in coolers for those on the go. The ambiance is incredibly comfortable, ideal for conversations, working on your laptop, or simply people-watching. Hats off to this well-managed establishment!"

"Pls forgive me for posting this reviewso late. I had misplaced it in the Notes section my phone.In April 2023, I went to Dolce Bakery(now called Layered Cakerie) to get a quote for a birthday cake for my 80yr old Godmother. I needed a cake for 50 people and wanted to know the cost of a 2 Tier or 3 Tier Cake.Note: I have never purchased this type of cake before so I was hoping someone would help me.Anyway the lady assigned to help me wanted to know what the colors were, what design I wanted, if I wanted it bonded. I did not know any of these answers because I was in still the early planning stages. I asked her if she could help me or if I should look through her photo album to get better ideas.“She told me (in a rude, arrogant mean spirited tone) that it wouldn’t matter” So I decided to show her a picture of the 2 Tier cake that was purchased 5yrs prior for my godmother’s party. You will not believe what she said. She told me “Oh that cake looks like child’s cake!!!”Actually, it was a very beautiful cake but for some reason she decided she wanted to be extremely Rude Insult me. To instantly make me feel like I was beneath her.Pls know that I did absolutely nothing to cause her to be so mean spirited towards me. I went there looking for help a quote. But I encountered a small Asian rude lady named Alice.Words of Wisdom to Upper Management !!!If Alice is still working at this bakery…. she needs to remain at the back of the bakery. In the kitchen away from customers since she does not know how to communicate politely to the customers!!!!And if you are the manager of this store .. shame on youPS I’ve been going to this bakery for over 7yrs. There Cakes are excellent but after April 2023 I have never returned."

"We've been trying this place for years. For some reason, we only did this yesterday. Wow! What a service we did to us. We disappeared! The food here is DELICIOUS! It is fresh, hot and delicious! It is authentic Latin food (seasoned and prepared like Central and South American, not Caribbean), and it is SO worth it! The price is very reasonable and the service is done with a smile. "What a fantastic spot for breakfast! "Beware of the prices they add a 15 percentage gratuity for pick up I noticed that on the receipt after I tip on top of that some of the items on the menu come what it looks in the picture they charge me extra for a item that was already in the picture which comes with the food is ridiculously priced. So I had to come back and edit this because I guess the owners posted that the service fee of $3 is not gratuity that is going to the employees so are you going there for pickup and they're charging you $3 regardless of what you ordered on top of that the tip that I leave when I go and pick up a breakfast that costs $11.99 lady asked me do you want it like it's in the picture I said yes the price went from 11.99 to 19.99 the coffee was $5 tax Plus service fee plus tip it cost me $28 to eat breakfast for pickup at this place"

"I used to frequent this bakery for their desserts, but in the last 6-7 months, the quality of their fruit-based desserts has become inconsistent. My latest purchase was disappointing. I ordered a coconut cake and a strawberry cake, tipped 20%, and spent about $15. When I got home, I found that the coconut cake was dry as usual, but the strawberry cake tasted rancid. I contacted the bakery about the issue but received no response. This lack of customer service is concerning. In the past, I had to return a multi-fruit tart because it tasted off, and the staff was unhelpful. I hope the bakery takes steps to improve the quality of their desserts and customer service."

"This is the cutest little little cafe that is bursting with fresh pastry, sandwiches and assorted treats. They have espresso drinks along with other choices. Seating is limited, but that's ok since this place is more a one stop before your day's activities. Like their name suggests, grab some things for a wonderful picnic later. "The food was delicious, but the restaurant was understaffed leading to poor service. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to order a drink, although the lack of customers meant we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to bring out bread and olive oil, and the bread was served cold. Overall, the long wait times and lackluster service made the experience not worth it."

"I've only tried their sugar-free offerings, and they were delicious! The cake required a preorder, but that was fine; they just needed 24 hours' notice. There were plenty of options, so I didn't feel limited. The pastries were great, with no aftertaste and a regular size—not tiny just because they're specially made. My only complaint is that the sugar-free cheesecake was a bit crumbly and not very smooth, while the filling of the sugar-free cannoli was gritty instead of smooth. I assume this is because sweeteners don't melt the same way sugar does. Nevertheless, that didn't stop me from enjoying both the cheesecake and the cannolis!"

"I was not so happy when I ordered because I was charged 1.75 extra for almond milk for a chai latte that on the board and the guy at the cashier, I asked him why is the price on the board different than what he charged me. He said $1 but it was still more on the receipt and he didn’t put in the right portion of milk to tea. Overall the food was fine but the service of not giving me the right change for not treating the customer right."

"I have been here many times for delicious cream puffs, eclairs, baklava, and more in the past. I haven’t purchased a custom cake from here until today. I wasnt sure if they could make my cake last minute but I took a chance and asked. I wanted a custom Cocomelon cake with minimal fondant. I asked the bakers to be creative because I know I am lacking in that department. They did NOT disappoint and I was blown away by my cake. They were able to make it in one day and it was ready for me to pick up. Wonderful service and they did everything I wanted. Everyone inhaled the Biscoff cookie and cream cake. Family and friends are already asking me for the shop name and were blown away by the flavor. This cake and the price is better than any cake I have purchased custom in the past. I was so excited to share with my friends and family. They are also surprised by the price and the design/flavor. This is my new official bakery for all custom cakes."
