"We ate here on a Friday afternoon, at about 4pm. We entered the restaurant, and it looked like they had finished cleaning up the buffet they had, as they were just opening the other dining area. As such, we were the only customers for the entire time we were there. We were in the mood for pasta. We both ordered from the Perfect Pastas portion of the menu. I selected the Penne with Meat Sauce with one meatball, and Italian wedding soup. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara, with the Italian wedding soup. We both had hot tea with the meal. Overall, nothing special with the meal. My wife was disappointed that the Carbonara was more like an Alfredo, as it seemed to have a bit of cream in it, which was weird. It was not a light sauce as she expected. My pasta was pedestrian. Not much spice to the meat sauce nor the meatball. There wasn 't any sort of taste profile, no flavor really stood out in any sort of way, there was no presence. The soup was actually the best part of the meal, very tasty. Our rolls were served cold. I would have expected them to be at least warm. Portions were fair sized for the price however, and did satisfy our hunger. Our server was great. She did an admirable job and was very friendly. Overall, this was a pretty 'meh ' meal and I wouldn 't be excited nor disappointed to eat here again. Maybe next time we will try the pizza."
