"My husband and I went to Nora's on recommendation from our friends for our anniversary. It was a true delight! The food Oh! was amazing. I had the Sabzi, so fresh! The hummus, a dream! The staff was just cool and comfortable. I had a cake brought there in advance to surprise my husband. The did so great with signals on when to bring it out, it was hilarious my husband had no idea. We will definitely be making Nora's a regular visit when we are in Dallas. I recommend it highly!"

"Our group went on a busy night but taking almost 45mins to get sat when we had a reservation is almost OK…except for the fact the hostess kept telling us we are next and they sat other people first. Service on the front end was poor considering theycould have just kept us in the loop instead of misleading. Service at the table was also just above acceptable considering wehad to beg to get water probably 3-4 times. Nothing special here. Food was good overall. Pricey but expected. I would say ifthey could work on their service, this restaurant could be better than what it was."

"Fast Delivery service Chicken Fried Rice moist rice with eggs, green onions and generous portions of chicken. Salt n Pepper Pork Chops to greasy and mostly fat Egg Foo Yung One large patty with broccoli carrots bean sprouts and mushrooms. There was quite a bit of onion so I had to tell them light onion the second time. I noticed the second time around no mushrooms. You have to be exact when ordering. Salt n Pepper chicken wings Meh I could not understand why a garnish of carrots, bell peppers, onions, and celery. This makes no sense as the veggies turned the crisp chicken soggy. I'm giving three stars remove unnecessary garnish from wings and be consistent in food preparation. And please stop selling DEEP FRIED FAT AS SALT N PEPPER PORK CHOPS. Chow Mein lacked flavor."

"Be careful when you pay for your food. They charged us 27.99 for a dish that was supposed to be 17.99. The combination fried rice was alright. The spicy schezuan beef had no spice at all and when I reached for the chili paste and the jar it was in had old dried up dark paste around in inside like it hadn't been cleaned out. The scallops were rubbery and had no flavor. We tried a few other dishes but all in all everything we got was overpriced for very low quality of the food. Employees seemed kinda nice but also made us feel very rushed . When we walked in, there was only 1 other group of people (it was around dinner time/ about 5pm) so we were shocked there wasn't really anyone eating there. The only nice part of the restaurant was the interior, the decor was really nice to look at. Just wish they put better effort into their food and employees cared about making their guests feel comfortable."

"We came at an extremely busy time and close to closing. They still served us with a smile. We started at a table but then we did ask for our food to go. We wanted to just get back to our hotel after a long day. Once back at our hotel and ready to eat, we were delighted that they thought to pack everything extra we'd need, and the food was amazing! I ordered the garlic chicken fried rice, which was so delicious, and my daughter ordered shrimp with an egg sauce. We also ordered egg rolls, fried shrimp wantons, and deep-fried man-tou. Everything was so good and the prices were very reasonable."

"I feel I have reviewed Chophouse 47 before...but don 't see it now. Anyway, this has been our go-to special restaurant. The place we go to celebrate. The food is probably the BEST of anywhere...usually! Service and atmosphere is typically exceptional as well. It wasn 't the case this time. I will start with atmosphere...generally it is quiet enough to be considered romantic. Low conversation is possible. This time, the music was so loud! People trying to talk over the music made it worse. Next up is service. This was the worst service that we have had on any visit here. I get that this is possibly due to the huge Christmas crowd...just not what we are used to at the Chophouse. Lastly...food! As usual, the steaks are the best prepared of anywhere in the world that we have eaten!!. The cheesy potatoes were horrible! It was OBVIOUS that it was powdered potatoes. They were soooo watered down! "

"I have been going here and ordering delivery from them for years. I recall a time when all their dishes were delicious. Now, I have come to accept, although not great, an ok delivery spot. They have quick delivery service, friendly phone service, and vegatarian options. I recently ordered from them the Vegetarian House Special Mei Fun. It was supposed to their version of Singapore Mei Fun, curry, hot and spicy. It was not good. There was no curry, no spice, not hot. It was bland. There were almost no veggies in it. Some carrots and Napa cabbage, and a scallion slice. Even the meat version typically has veggies in it. There was a lot of fake meat. But all of it tasted the same. Also ordered the spring rolls, also bland. Everything was salty but there was no flavor. Very disappointed."

"I haven't dined at this restaurant in years due to a previous disappointing experience, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. The pork fried rice was overcooked and filled with chunks of white rice. While the boneless spare ribs were tasty, there were only 4-5 pieces included. The orange chicken lacked enough orange sauce, although it was decent. The service was good, but overall, I wouldn't choose to order from here again. The delivery service rated a 4, with the meal type being dinner and costing $30-50 per person. The food received a 1 rating, while the atmosphere and service were both rated a 4."

"We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. You may need to park in the garage across the street, which was free as of 11/15/2020. Enjoy!"

"I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. The chicken Tom Yum soup was outstanding—one of the best I've ever had—though I could have done without the tomatoes. The portion sizes were very generous and could easily feed three people. The cashew chicken and chicken fried rice were both flavorful, but I think I’ll try the curry or basil dishes next time. The egg rolls were decent and very crispy, but they could use a bit more flavor on the inside. The garlic shrimp was a delightful surprise and surprisingly delicious."

"I was delighted to discover an Asian restaurant that offers a diverse range of dishes rather than focusing on just one type of cuisine. I visited with two friends and we enjoyed a wonderful mix of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese flavors. Since it was a Tuesday, the place wasn't very crowded, and the waitstaff were exceptionally attentive. We sampled sushi, rolls, curry, and dumplings, all of which were incredibly tasty. We definitely plan to come back!"

"I ordered here for mother’s day and it was actually gross, the pan fried noodles tasted like only soy sauce was added and the chicken tasted rotten. I paid $65 for 3 entrees and 2 appetizers and everything was bad. I’m disappointed and i also placed the order 35 minutes before coming and they still asked me to wait 10 more minutes. "On a recent business trip I discovered this restaurant while looking for a place to eat. I absolutely loved the décor and style of this building, portions of it built-in the 1600s and other parts built-in the early 1800s it's rustic historic and warm feel resonated with me. There is a nice upstairs area covered in old wine bottles which look amazing as you walk up the stairs and into the upper room. The downstairs has 2 bar seating areas as well as tables in the front and rear. There was plenty of parking and it was not too busy when we arrived. The service was friendly prompt and everything was delicious. If you're looking for great food and a place with a lot of character, this may be up your alley."

Service nothing special or memorable. Delivery seems to be the thing here. Basically only been here this one time. If your house chicken is blah then try something dont just leave it that way. Delivery delivery delivery"

"Amazing customer service. Ive never seen such a sweet staff in a restaurant before i went here. Ordered a peach mango coconut boba tea, and its most definitely the best tea I’ve tasted in the area. Even if you’re ordering just a drink, you can tell how passionate the staff is while making it, and it’s definitely worth the visit."

"Definitely stop here! These Fine people have been in this location. For many many years. The man up front said he had been there for 30 some years. My waitress. Miss May. Was very very nice and accommodating. Was very pleasant professional helpful and well spoken. With a very heavy Mandarin accent of course. Which only adds to the authenticity of the restaurant for me. She has been here for 17 years. I asked for some suggestions on what to have from some other patrons. That had been coming here for several years themselves. They told me. What I absolutely! Love to hear someone say. Everything! Is good here. They both said. So I went for the traditional. Yes! You guessed it. General Tso's. Pork fried rice hot and spicy soup with an egg roll. Dr Pepper to drink. Miss may. My waitress. Brought me some Wasabi sauce that she makes special. Along with some other pineapple tasting sauce that is made in house also. Delicious! Will definitely. Definitely! Be returning soon. Really love the decor. The tables are very elegant and classy.. the pictures do not do this place Justice. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. But the people definitely were amazing. You will not regret stopping here for sure. I will say a prayer for each and everyone of you. I hope your travel is safe. God bless you and yours. Thanks for helping me make it to the top 10% of Google reviewers. And thank you for now making me one of the top 10% of Chinese restaurant reviewers."

"Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place. I came here for the first time the other day and kinda was taken aback by how it looked a little run down. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how their menu offered soooo many options. It was almost overwhelming because there were so many different entrees to choose from. If you're Korean, they also have a Korean menu too. Food was excellent! Wow we were all pleasantly surprised by how everything we ate was tasty. My favorite was probably their eggplant dish with a garlicky sauce. Omg I kept dreaming about that when I got home. The owners are really sweet people and they will try their best to accommodate to your interests. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant in town. It is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of C-U."
